Caught a channel rat from the top of a local spillway that absolutely kicked my ass, broke my cheap ass real, the heavy current made it seem like I was fighting a 30lb fish. I'm trying to work my broke pole with a drop net to get it up the wall. It was a comedy of errors, but so much fun.
If this comes to life there has to be a gang in the trailer park of guys that all have 70's porn stashes and walk around with telescopic fishing rods in there wastebands like it's a gun
Was debating on going out and getting the night bite, saw you uploaded and took it as a sign to go! I look forward to watching when I get back, tight lines!
Man you gotta hit Duck Creek, southeast Nebraska, not the best lake but it has nice channels, we caught 16lbers two days in a row, much love great video as always!
Awesome shit bro keep slaying em man and watch those gar the gill plates are like razors had one fillet both of my hands one time and I learned my lesson real quick 😂😂😂
As always we felt the pain of that big one breaking you off Josh! Still an awesome video none the less! We appreciate your grind to keep us entertained. I hope even though it's your "job" these days you still can enjoy it!
I used to live on the creek in Ithaca Nebraska. Caught really big fish for that sized creek, the Wahoo creek. Let me know, my daughter still lives there.
Josh, you weren't horsing him. That was just a solid battle with a wise old cat. Felt like I got sucker-punched in the gut when he came off. Great vid, buddy!
Nice video. Hook set! Reel=reel=reel=reel=play with the drag=play with the drag=reel=play with the drag=play with the drag=reel=reel=reel=play with the drag=play with the drag=reel=reel=reel=reel=reel=reel= and it's a carp. lol
Bro you HAVE veen struggling on the flatties this year but the fact that you find em in these "tiny holes" still inpresses the hell outta me. Mad rrspect for ur grind bud. 👌🙏💪👊🎣
That place looks very familiar, is that in Beatrice? I used to live like 2 blocks away from that dam, i also almost drowned swimming there when i was 8 sliding down the concrete lol
85 pounds braid and 50 pounds fluro!!! that's what i use for sturg and big cat !! but i think where you are fighing you need a steel cable and a winch !!!
But he’s throwing his Baby Whale at 3/8 ounces so he might have casting issues, but you gotta try. But we’ve all hooked big fish and not been prepared with the right gear , every time I gear up a heavy tackle I get skunked on that rod . Still better than working
Heartbreak! What knots are you tying for your braid to leader and leader to lure? It looks like you're tying a clinch knot to the square bill but it's hard to see. Try an Alberto or FG knot for your braid to leader and a Double San Diego Jam Knot for your leader to lure connection. I have tutorials for all of them on my channel. Those knots are worth learning since you routinely hook up with absolute monsters.
A place named after a saltwater fish has alot of water? I wish we had more spilln' ways down here. Got two without an 1 1/2 hour away. But good lakes and rivers, springs as well. Good fishing my dude.
I do. Love the jighead crawler trick. Live in St Louis and the Mississippi here's tough on gear but that little trick been killer em. Even been seeing some walleye. Never could get them things to hit much. 😁 Sorry about that one Flatty. Nothing you could have done but what ya did. Keep on fishing.😄😄😄👍👍👍
Too bad you broke off on that one flathead, he looked heavy. But the same reason they're there makes it tough to pull them out of there, those flatheads know every nook and cranny. Who knows what's down there besides rocks and trees, maybe a rusted fender from a '39 Ford, old barbed wire, etc. Kinda helps protect the resource when you think about it. Anyways, good video as always, thanks and take care out there.
Google Earth helps, but I just keep an eye out when I am driving around. Any damn has a spillway, and any time a creek goes under a roadway there is a spillway, as long as it isn't a bridge. Most man made lakes have one too, where the over flow drains into a waterway.
I shot a carp with my bow once that when I held it up the tail touched the ground as the head was over my belt line and I’m 6’3”, I never weighed it but it was an absolute fat pig and I’m not shitting you it had to have weighed 80 pounds or more. I’ve got a video of it that my ex had started filming after I had shot it and was trying to drag it in. It’s the biggest carp I ever seen.
I've gotten in the water and waded multiple times with poison ivy and I've been alright. Didn't spread any more than normal. Poison sumac or oak is more severe id probably be concerned with that but regular ivy you'd be alright
Being in Colorado, never really had any issues with snakes. Did however have an issue with a turtle last year. Alligator snapper. Never been more scared reeling in and trying to release a catch🤣😭
Out of ask these videos i don't really see you talking about how you use the "baby whale" unless i missed it. Are you jigging bottom or just slowly reeling it in 😬🤷 lol thanks
It's sad how many of you don't hit the like button....DO BETTER PEOPLE!!!!
Look, I liked the video with the submarine camera and there has only been that 1 video with that sweet thang....soooo 🤷♂️
Pfff I always start with a 👍
Thanks for reminding me 😂
I’m trying! 😭
Hadir kawan baru kere vidio ini sangat bermanfaat bagi saya pemula sehat sukses slalu buat kita semua salam sehat semua❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
Man, you can fish this spot all the time we love this place
Thanks for the video Josh ! Calling that gar a "Trailer Park Musky" made me snort my drink ! Great punch line !
And a kicker kitty after the end of the video!! Awesome job!!

“Dirty old Stache floods” 😂😂
I personally appreciate these videos especially when you explain the grind you go through to catch fish people think it's just easy
Easily the most underrated TH-camr/fisherman undoubtedly
Man you gotta hit Duck Creek, southeast Nebraska, not the best lake but it has nice channels, we caught 16lbers two days in a row, much love great video as always!
With all this dirty water brother just fish straight braid, awesome show as always
I would have guessed the braid had failed until he showed the flouro leader broke. Snaggy water with sharp objects have their way with braid.
The silence after that loss said it all Josh. As a bass fisherman i know its like losing your favorite pet. 😂
Fun Video Bud, Keep up the great content.
Better fishing days coming. My work schedule is going to finally allow me some fishing time. Keep the videos coming Stache Whale.
Those carp are an absolute blast to catch…. We fish for them on the Chemumg River in western NY.
Great work Josh, bangn em out lately, appreciate it
That flathead was just an encore performance that was better than the actual performance. Your such the amazing entertainer Josh!!!
That one got ya all tore up. Lol That's a tall order for that rig. You did all you could. That place is Fanstachestick!
Trailer park muskie is a good one...Robbie Fishing from Australia calls carp mud marlins but yours is head to head for best nickname
"at least carp exist" should be a shirt!! Awesome video.
Always a heartbreak when the line gives I feel that bro
Ur literally hilarious but I love your vids bro I watch ur videos as soon as they come
Out
Those flathead are badass looking ! I wish we had em in California !
Another awesome video well done some really nice fish
Awesome shit bro keep slaying em man and watch those gar the gill plates are like razors had one fillet both of my hands one time and I learned my lesson real quick 😂😂😂

Awesome stuff brother been following you since you started good to see you still smashing in the spillways.
Another great video ! Had me on the edge of my seat ! Stay safe !
LOVE YOU BRO. THANK YOU.
I used to live on the creek in Ithaca Nebraska. Caught really big fish for that sized creek, the Wahoo creek. Let me know, my daughter still lives there.
I hope you catch Wahoo fish and a Tarpon down in the creek after the flood.
Trailer park musky is the most accurate description ive heard in a long time 😂😂😂
It just came to me 😂
Josh, you weren't horsing him. That was just a solid battle with a wise old cat.
Felt like I got sucker-punched in the gut when he came off.
Great vid, buddy!
Nice Xtra catch there bud
Yes it hurts to lose good fish , but thats what makes the victories so sweet. Thanks for sharing stache man
Nice video. Hook set! Reel=reel=reel=reel=play with the drag=play with the drag=reel=play with the drag=play with the drag=reel=reel=reel=play with the drag=play with the drag=reel=reel=reel=reel=reel=reel= and it's a carp. lol
I’m thinking ya need a carp catch,clean,cook 👍👍
The trailer park musky line is solid gold. Well played sir.
It’s spillway season 💪
Yeah, the spillways where I am are loaded with big largemouth and lots of gars.
Bro you HAVE veen struggling on the flatties this year but the fact that you find em in these "tiny holes" still inpresses the hell outta me. Mad rrspect for ur grind bud. 👌🙏💪👊🎣
P. S... BEST bank fishing youtuber hands down!! 🙌👐🤟
Also come to Lawrence sometime I'm doing pretty good here
Hello glorious stache a holics
Dude... you have to use your underwater camera here... i will sing the 1st time you land that monster!!!!
Knowing how scared he seems to be of getting that thing stuck somewhere I doubt he will do it but I’m definitely here for it if he does
Was that a deer at 2:19 on the right. Maybe an aquatic armadillo.......lol
Love you stache man!❤️👊💪🎣
I hit it bro!!! Good work man!! Love your videos!
Appreciate you watching!
St Louis rivers are high too. Pond fishing and Lake fishing is where I'm at too. The smaller rivers are ok as well since they go down fast.
Thanks for sharing brother sorry I haven't commented in a while. Keep it coming!
JUST A CARP? I FREAKING LOVE CARP FISHING.
carp suck
Nice Double Ending.
We're Getting Ready For A Eighth Grade Graduation On Thursday.
Enjoy.!!
Oh no that’s a bummer that you lost the big guy.
Great buddy! Thanks
Great video Bud, !!!!!
That place looks very familiar, is that in Beatrice? I used to live like 2 blocks away from that dam, i also almost drowned swimming there when i was 8 sliding down the concrete lol
Ugh!!!! The struggle is real!!! So flooded right now.
Thanks man great stuff!!
Great surprise ending! That'll teach those who left early.😁

If youre watching, hitting like is a good idea!
I do. Love the jighead crawler trick. Live in St Louis and the Mississippi here's tough on gear but that little trick been killer em. Even been seeing some walleye. Never could get them things to hit much. 😁
Sorry about that one Flatty. Nothing you could have done but what ya did. Keep on fishing.😄😄😄👍👍👍
This guy needs more subs

A trailer park musky 😂😂
Throw a few zoom flukes with weedless hooks in your bag for extra snaggy spots.
That video where you passed it off to the kid was so wholesome
Love this spot. Keep it up you’ll catch that dinosaur if you keep at it
Mannn that moment of silence when you lost him… I know that feeling all too well 😅 that sucks
The baby whale destroyed the pike walleye and smallmouth on The boundary Waters last week in Minnesota. Only lure I needed it's amazing thanks brother
It really is a one lure to catch them all.
Are you going to do a Branched Oak video soon?
Trailer park muskie 😂😂😂 that is hilarious
Next video post all your CARP catches. That's the best kind of fishing
See what happens when you never give up! Got it on the live bait!!!!
I don't understand why people disrespect carp so much. They fight tooth and nail and are arguably some of the most fun fish to catch
The carp was awesome!!
I love the name for the gar.
How do you find spillways?
Google Earth helps, but I just keep an eye out when I am driving around. Any damn has a spillway, and any time a creek goes under a roadway there is a spillway, as long as it isn't a bridge. Most man made lakes have one too, where the over flow drains into a waterway.

Did you eat it?
@@alexandertom5439 negative. I’ve eaten smaller ones before. Not bad but you gotta smoke them for 12+ hours to get all the grease out of them.
I've gotten in the water and waded multiple times with poison ivy and I've been alright. Didn't spread any more than normal. Poison sumac or oak is more severe id probably be concerned with that but regular ivy you'd be alright
What had could have been any of the 3. Probably ivy though.
Sorry that big fish broke off Trailer park Muskie cracked me up😅😂😅😂
dang i wish i new you was in wahoo i was working yutan i did sone ice fishing on wahoo lake got skunked
LOL love the surprise Flathead
The silence of your line snapping and after was so loud!! I felt the pain.
Being in Colorado, never really had any issues with snakes. Did however have an issue with a turtle last year. Alligator snapper. Never been more scared reeling in and trying to release a catch🤣😭
Oh no! You hooked the drain plug!
Are you going to do some fishing with cicadas??
Out of ask these videos i don't really see you talking about how you use the "baby whale" unless i missed it. Are you jigging bottom or just slowly reeling it in 😬🤷 lol thanks
Kinda just do it all and see what works. Mainly bouncing bottom though.
@@PigPatrolTV thanks
I get a few carp a year in the mouth jigging for eyes in the otter creek very fun fight on light tackle for sure
😢man these misses , I feel for ya man I had those with giant Pike,s !!!!
Pretty cool fishing spot. 👍👍👍
That last flathead looked like it had a lamprey bite..
I can't believe those trees &/or stumps are always hung up where they are, what's holding them there, especially with that current.
In Newfoundland, Ponds are the go to for fishing
I ended up odering more whale swimbaits they were delivered friday and iv been catching bass all weekend on them they work awsome!!
Happy to hear it!
Need to do a clean and cook on a garr fish ! Clean and cook on same day taste like gator meat to me .
You ever want to catfish near Marysville KS
That was bad ass
