Where I grew up you could park By the bridge and fish the local river. I didn’t know all of the landowners but no one ever got upset about a kid walking through their land with a fishing pole. But also me and my circle that I fished with had respect for the land and the water. We didn’t litter we weren’t loud or obnoxious. It was a great place to grow up in the outdoors. I haven’t fished there in several years but wonder if it is still like that. If I owned land on a river I would let people fish through as long as they could respect nature. Where I live now most streams are fenced at private land boundaries. Luckily there is plenty of public land to fish from nearby.
Used to live in Nebraska in the Lincoln area. I imagine you have fished it but I’ll try and send you the waypoint for a epic creek with flatheads if you want.
Great video. Carp are my favorite freshwater fish to catch the fight is unreal. I live in New York and I go to kissena park just about everyday. The problem with using night crawlers is there are are a lot of tiny bluegill in there. There are also big largemouth bass crappie carp and bullheads. Caught carp over 20 lbs in there. Lots of fun.
Looks like a great sandbar to set up tent, for a night or 2. I agree with you on the parking though that would be on my mind the hole time.. Thanks for another fun video..👍✌️
Thank you for helping me figure out my next tattoo idea. I was born and raised In Wyoming and moved to AZ when I was 21, I have been going back and forth trying to corporate my hometown to my home now, I’ll be getting both state fishes on my calves! A cutthroat trout for WYOMING 🤘🏽 and luckily enough ARIZONA is a Apache trout 🙏🏽! I grew up trout fishing and it’s definitely some of my favorite fishing to do! A little tougher now that I’m in az but I still get it done! Thanks Josh for all your videos and your awesome soul! Your my fav fisherman on the tube 🎉🎉. No matter how busy I get I make sure to hop on just to watch your videos big dawg!!! Keep on fishing on my guy 🎣🤘🏽🙏🏽
My state fish (Nevada) happens to be the world biggest species of cutthroat trout. The lahontan cutthroat trout. The state and world record is around 41 lbs. we also have giant lake trout, I’m told, in Lake Tahoe.
I keep a pole holder off to the side just for my casting rod for when I get bit on the bait rods I will put my reel in the sand unless it’s a crazy bite lmao. Great channel. Keep it up bro
Awsome vid! I would say that in most regions in the USA grass carp are not an invasive species. Asian carp on the other hand are. Keep up the great work.
I don't know about Nebraska but here in Texas if it has water flowing through it for more than 65% of the year is considered a public waterway and it's public from lower Bank to high Bank
Keep getting it Stache-Meister. Gotta ask a quick question though. I know ya hate killing carp, that said; you love river kitties. Have you thought about a quick rough filet of said carp? Just to chunk it out, on your way out of the hole, and toss it into the river for your river kitties? Feeds em up well, aaand keeps down the invasive species. Btw the carcass after the filet process makes great fertilizer.
Caught a bunch of small Flatheads that size. Most were that yellow or brighter. Favorite was a cow colored one. Black and whiteish on top and a darker brown on the belly.
I agree with those comments that say destroy any Carp you catch. In nearly every state it is illegal to return a Carp to the water once taken since they are an invasive species.
Leaving those carp gives birds and small scavengers like opossum skunks martins racoons and others a meal. I throw them into brushy areas or under some shade.
I always just leave a note on my windshield with my phone number to call if there is a parking issue like my car had problems. At least it gives me an option to know what's going on and talk my way out of a tow. Most people I find are pretty cool with that.
I went fishing this morning. Channels and smallies weren’t interested but perch and rock bass were fire. I went all artificial, should have changed it up
Dude I feel that should of changed it up, nothing all morning, then I bush wacked a new way, and got a nice trout first cast , soon as it hit the water
The other side was definitely deeper imo just based on the vertical rip rap compared to your descending sand bar.how many poles you allowed to fish at one time in Nebraska btw?
Good thing about the stratix is that it can be completely disassembled cleaned and reassembled and work perfectly bayu with common tools do not put grease in it use Vaseline Vaseline helps keep the water out
Nothing was a pretty nice spot that you was at I like that when you cast it out and said your pole in the holder and it wasn't no time and you had a frathead good job on all the fish that you caught the car the front head and the channel good job keep it up keep fishing and I'll keep watching videos you're awesome you're an awesome TH-camr and your name is Josh just like mine you're awesome
Ok idk where u found that common carp are invasive they are no longer invasive species. Common and grass carp are both considered naturalized species in USA

Always fun figuring out a new spot and both spots looked so fishy as well !
I don't know about Nebraska but here in Texas if it has water flowing through it for more than 65% of the year is considered a public waterway and it's public from lower Bank to high Bank
Yeah but he also said he walked a half hour to get to it so that’s dicey
👍 Happy birthday Mrs.Berto.
Carp are a ton of fun !! Glad to see someone else show love
Hey buddy glad to see the mustache on this Sunday evening!
“I’d assume they aren’t since their invasive” had me laughing too hard bro 😂😂
yup. parking and trespassing.....makes me nervous
I didn’t know Josh existed until I met his mother. Pa POW 💥

What do you think is better for live bait? Small catfish or shad or?

I still haven’t caught a carp so I’m low key jealous
Awesome video man, you should do another survival video or a catch and cook again!
Well glad to see the CARP WHISPER at it again 😂😂😂😂.

I love the carp content, You don't have to apologize because they are cool fish.
Let’s gooo he uploaded I have been checking everyday at 4:00 for an upload
Love the vids! Could you do
A walleye or pike fishing video sometime?
@pigpatroltv, why don't you use the carp as cut bait?
I don't miss the days I had to set the hook. I use circle hooks as the fish starts to run it hooks them. I also drift fish on my boat.
Looks like a great place to fish.

One of my fav fisherman youtubers stache man! Fisherman from metro Minnesota saying we dont like the carp vids btw
mud carp likes mud areas like an overflowed river they get into the mud walk paths in the woods
I've been Catching Bass on a Lunkerbait Black Widow Rubber Spider. Here in Indiana
What lb. Line do you use with your open face Reels? I lost a Big Bass Last week on 10lb. Strean.
What’s better than a new spot, especially if it produces! Looks like a rad place to chuck some baits. Love a Sunday drop homie🔥
Pretty sick spot to have all to yourself. Sweet
Great video! Thanks!
Our state fish is a BROOK TROUT and we have pretty big cats 25lbers are common
Idk about Nebraska but common carp are native to the US. It's the silver and bighead carp from Asia that are the invasive carp.
The other side was definitely deeper imo just based on the vertical rip rap compared to your descending sand bar.how many poles you allowed to fish at one time in Nebraska btw?
Can have 15 hooks in the river in Nebraska
@@nickeisenhauer985 15 hooks so how many rods? Can put 3 hooks on 5 rods? 😂😂
2 lines in the water at one time in Nebraska
@@fishingthe402 different in rivers

Was that a boat ramp across the river below the second spilinway?
People say carp are trash fish but there so fun to catch on little cheap Walmart rods with light line
what reel is on your orange rod?
Josh is back, you tache monster.
Carps are fun to catch. They're strong, they fight like Mike Tyson, and they're easy to catch!!! I love stachecarp. ❤️
You can fish with invasive species in Nebraska?
Josh, your mullet is fire!
So went to a spot an hour away Friday night and caught the fist kitty of the year. Nice 8 pounder. Tasted good for supper the next night
Best explanation ever, “It spills into a way,”
That’s a good aquarium size!! Flathead
Spilling in some way 😂 that’s great man
Love carp fishing best fight in my book 💪🏾♿🎣
Thanks, stache
Good thing about the stratix is that it can be completely disassembled cleaned and reassembled and work perfectly bayu with common tools do not put grease in it use Vaseline Vaseline helps keep the water out
Same with all reels
Watching you now on your Water falls Spot.
Wat kind of line your using?
First on here wow!! Been a subscriber for a long time love all your videos keep up the great work Pa Pow!!
You were 9th comment but glad your here supporting josh
No state fish is a carp. But the Weakfish is Delaware's state fish. Made me laugh
Ohio state fish is a walleye never knew this till you mentioned something bout a state fish!
Asias state fish is carp
I didn't know I'd be watching this video pa pow!!!
It’s spilling into a way😂🤣😂🤣
I know where you are! Wish I would have known you were there I could have shown you a much easier way to get down there
No carp as state fish, but Connecticut and DC are both Shad…
Watching again,I like fishing this way,it's almost a mirror image of how I fish..
Iv always been curious on what kind of line that yellow line is
“spilling into a way” indeed stache dad
You are from Nebraska? If so what part?
Right after you scored on the "carp bud"
I used to kill carp too but stopped for the same reason you said in waters where there are tens of millions no point in killing a handful
I had a lot of spillway spots but for some damn reason fish and wildlife blocked em off here in south mo
You're looking more and more like dad everyday. Can't wait until you guys do a video together again.

New to Nebraska and I need some good fishing spots.
Carp are one of the best fighting freshwater fish. Up there with alligator gar
Because It’s spilling into a way…..good enough for me 🤙🏻
Use a chunk of carp as bait catch one and cut it up
You need to keep those carp, brine them, and smoke them. Delicious.
I farted in a hotel elevator today. An important looking business man was getting into it when I was getting out. My bucket list is now complete.
