I'm curious. What did this game get wrong? And let's be honest, in every WW1 game, there's bound to be historical inaccuracies here and there since it's not as well documented as WW2.
In my opinion what made this game so badass is that it showed all the crazy weapon designs they had back then. I think a lot of people were unaware of how advanced weapon technology actually was 100 years ago.
This game shows how far weapons have evolved and advanced down the years, decades and generations along the way. If during WW1 is insane enough let alone nowadays. Absolute insanity.
Why oh why did they change the SMG 08/18? I actually kinda liked the slow firing one. It was accurate as could be for an SMG and laid down a lot of suppressive fire. Difficult to kill up close, but this new one is just unwieldy. The recoil is just so absurd.
I personally LOVE this game. I bought it on the PS and my reaction was W.O.W. I have to say EA has been terrible at FIFA 15 but this is their BEST GAME EVER. I mean Activision is getting better at developing COD and they made hugely impressive games like WW2 and the 2019 Modern Warfare. But no one except Verdun has made a cool WW1 game. Because this is the BEST. FIRST. PERSON. SHOOTER. EVER.

Aqua If you don't have an emblem in the game, the game likes to shove the flag of whatever faction you're playing as on the weapon. Same thing with BF4 where you had people running around with QBZ's and AK's adorned with the American flag.

@@hpchappie346 The assault rifle class wound only be created with the StG-42, the dad of the StG-44. And semiautos were very rarely used. But hey, the Carcano and the Enfield cocks really fast and you could retrofit the available semiautos with high-zoom scopes.
Actually the Chauchat was a decent LMG, the biggest problem being that huge holes in the mag. The Gladiator ones were good, however there was another company that made them (won't remember the name rn), and theirs was just pure trash. And don't even get started on the rechambered .30-06 one. It was absolute garbage. Good thing it was never used.
21:40 the glitch with the m1897 is do annoying. When reloading the p08 with the m1897 as your primary, the reloadong audio file of the m1897 takes over And it bothers me how it was never fixed

Yes it’s not historically accuraye but they never said that it was their goal and the fact they pit obscure and unheard or underused guns gave this game a sanding point over other games( for example the automatico isn’t as widely user as the ar15 platform in games)
It’s kinda dumb the M1917 is portrayed as a light machine gun in this game when in actuality it was a heavy machine gun (it literally weighed 103 lbs or 47 kgs) lol
