@@Fictionboy16 but I got to admit that when she did make that joke when she was being handcuffed what made it funny was everyone else laughing in the background
they still showed her cleavage but reduce the line so it wouldn't be an attention grabber for kids but the fathers of the kids would of noticed the glimpses i know bacause i was still in school and i noticed that she still had a cleavage from time to time especially when it came around to her bending over while flying to look down and say her comical lines of getting an emotional arise of rage or the facial blush on knuckles face each time i got a good laugh out of it and was already figuring the characters out by listening to them in english and watching the scenes unfold
There is at least some good things that came from it. (From what I know) 1. The opening song of the english version is still popular 2. Mike Pollock has been voicing Eggman ever since then and still to this day
Tails' mental breakdown was #1 for me. Then after Cosmo died he blamed Sonic and told him he's supposed to be the hero and asked why he didn't save her even though it's obvious there's nothing he could have done. Really wish I would have watched the Japanese version first, but I definitely still got the emotional impact when I watched it later.

Yes! I've been waiting for this list to be covered! Thank you so much for bringing this up! 😭 The 4Kids version of Sonic X may be popular to all folks out there worldwide but the original Japanese version is a must-watch because not only the scenes that weren't removed but also for the voice direction, story, soundtrack, and writing such as Molly's and Cosmo's death.
Fun fact, Molly and Cosmo’s deaths were the only deaths in the show’s dub that the FCC either altered significantly or outright removed. Every other death got minor alterations from the FCC or just kept intact.

It's you Nat! I recognize you! I'm totally agree with you! The Japanese dub was truly better! It's not because I don't understand Japanese but the feeling hit straight to my heart.
@@twistedgaming9185 networks don't really have anything to do with it. The censorship policies of media transported to the US for a simple example, will censor a LOT of unnecessary things. Any hint of cleavage or suggestion towards it for example, will be censor-blurred, unless it comes with a strong 18+ disclaimer.
In the English dub of the episode "A Materex Melee" , when there's a flashback to Shadow attacking Chris, it uses the original uncensored Japanese footage from "Showdown in Space", where Shadow punches Chris into the wall, despite the current episode being from the English dub.
There are a few instances of that happening in other shows as well. Digimon Adventure 1 had an example of this. The episode when Wizardmon dies got edited a bit and cuts out the scene of Kari screaming as she cries. But later in a later episode when they show her flashbacking to that moment, they used the original Japanese footage and show the scene they cut out. I noticed this right away as a kid and it never made sense to me back then until I discovered the concept of localization.
Ugh. And 20 years later since I watch and suffered this two bit mediocre trash of 4kids just prove my point not to watch Sonic X on 4kids ever again. But thankfully I had to rewatch every animes in Sub since it was ruined by stupid 4Kids. Thanks for nothing for made suffering watching that trash.
Honestly, the Japanese dub just made Molly another Maria and that made the bonding time Shadow spent with her basically kind of pointless in my opinion.
technically in the english dub it shows her flying towards the fleet but doesn't show her changing angles and flying upwards it cuts to shadow landing and saying that he wont forget her that is the english dubs way of saying that she died without showing alot of kids with very short attention spans would have stopped watching just right at the time they saw her flying towards the ships because something else would of caught their attention especially for those that are ADD and ADHD
What makes the censorship funny is how inconsistent it was. In the very same arc where the dub censored the suicidal flight into running away, they still showed the one dude getting assimilated into that tree and dying. And don't get me started on Rouge and her constant appearance changes, sometimes in the same episode.
Um… the Federal Communications Commission only amounted the censorship on Maria’s death to her getting shot in the back. Nothing censored in the 4Kids (now 4K Media) dubs is really their fault - the FCC is to blame.
ok well also you need to factor in that it was being shown on saturday mornings and then sunday mornings as well and that kids were watching and alot of kids especially those with ADD and ADHD had short attention spans so they had to change up some things if they wanted it to be for teens then they would not have put it on tv weekend morning cartoons blocks for kids to watch they would of just put them online for teens to watch or on around 11pm or 11:30pm at night after all non teenagers would be in bed
@@GlitchanBlack And it's not just the FCC, Fox, the network who allowed the FoxBox, which had Sonic X starting on the block's second year, also had a hand since the network's broadcast standards and practices would also apply. Although this can be flawed, especially when you see the 4Kids reboot of TMNT, and how the first four seasons were basically dark (in fact, Fox banned the season four episode Insane In The Membrane from broadcast due to how dark that episode was, and noticing how dark it got, Playmates to intervene and demand the Ninja Tribunal season be shelved in favor of Fast Forward, a season that was gimmicky and took the series in a more lighter direction).
Definitely the omission of Molly's death scene and Cosmo's toned down death scene were the worst changes for me. Another scene alteration that I found terrible was Tails mourning after killing Cosmo. In the English dub he just keeps saying to Sonic "why did this have to happen," but in the JP version he collapses into bloodcurdling screams of agony. Great video!
Honestly, those were the only two major changes in Sonic X when it came to the deaths. The others were either not altered at all or had minor alterations.
easy Tails in the English dub asking sonic "why did this have to happen" was the English dubs way of showing tails grieving without having a full mental break down that would trigger most kids whom were diagnosed with PTSD by Psychiatrists like i was when i was a kid and i found it to be a way to show the respect to kids with PTSD by not triggering it by having him ask that question with sadness in the voice it helped a lot of them cope by not triggering depression i felt the sadness and i did not need to view the subbed version to feel it because i understood what why Tails asked sonic that question it was the same question that i asked my mom and older sister after witnessing my father choking my uncle back in1995 to an unconscious state which he ended up dying a few hours later in his sleep and all i could ask them at the funeral was "why did this have to happen" a year of constant denial later my mom took me to a psychiatrist to see if they could find out why i was not talking to anyone and constantly kept on looking at the steak knives on the kitchen counter while doing the hand motions of stabbing myself and that Psychiatrist told her that i have the clear showing symptoms of severe PTSD when she told my mom that there is no actual medicine that would help reduce keep those thoughts at bay she told her that there is weed but my mom told her that the i have a genetic allergy to weed itself and it would either put me in a hospital on life support or kill me so while its not obvious to anyone whom prefers the subs over the dubs the english dub still kept the meaning just kept out the actual triggering part just more subtle and not so obvious in english dub
I was so upset! The sub for me was way better for character development and such! Cosmo and Molly’s death was literally important! They didn’t need to cut it out. Maria’s death was important too! Like they could literally say she died without showing her death but nope! Like they ruin Shadow’s lore by doing that!
Oh, wow! Never did I imagine that WatchMojo would do a video pertaining to Sonic X! Hope you do more such videos in the future! (And to answer your question of whether Sonic X is a win or a misfire, overall, it's a win for me.)
Sonic X had an amazing English voice cast, but the localization team got bogged down by 4Kids guidelines on censoring violence and Japanese culture (the jelly-filled donuts from Pokemon for example). It's a shame since the Adventure arcs in season 2 and season 3 were actually solid, but it would've been impossible to adapt Shadow the Hedgehog after the events of season 2 and Sonic 06 was released after Sonic X concluded.
@Emily-cw7tj At least I now know why there had to be signs posted at movie theaters for parents who were potentially taking their kids to see Sausage Party.
You can't forget the Perfect Chaos scene. He violently flooded a city with very little warning. In the sub version the VA of the reporter puts there all when it comes to this scene. She really sells the fear and destruction that Chaos brought to the city killing thousands maybe billions of people. In the 4kids dub however in the 4kids dub, the reporter says that no one has been seriously injured. Like why?! This line changed really takes away from the intimidation of Perfect Chaos and the fear the civilians faced.
Honestly, I barely remember anything from the first two seasons of Sonic X. It just didn't click with me. But that third season, oh boy... Tails is my favourite Sonic character, and seeing him and Cosmo fall in love, only for that heartbreaking ending where she had to sacrifice herself with Tails' assistance... It shaped me as a person! I'm not kidding, I don't think I would've fallen quite as deep in love with the Sonic franchise if it hadn't been for Cosmo. Her story just resonated with me so perfectly...
which version was it 4kidstv dub or japanese with english subtitles i watched it on tv as a kid which was in english of course and it taught me about making choices can come with heartache and while also having severe PTSD I understood why Tails asked sonic the question when he did because he was grieving the same way that i did when i was 5 and witnessed a traumatic scene that lead up to my uncles death which i had been denying it and it lead to me developing severe PTSD a year later so i felt with that scene a connection with Tails but if i ever watch it in subs i will most likely loose the fight those my most self dangerous thoughts and probably end up either hurting someone bad enough that would get me a life sentence in prison or hurt myself to where i would have to be kept under careful watch in a hospital
Agree! It was beautiful. Too bad that the dub butchered it. At least a little. Didn’t really understand why they think they need to cut anything out. Dub was good but sub for me was better! For character development!
Because Season 3 was never broadcasted in Japan after produced. It was sent over to France where it aired first. French version is the uncensored version.
@@t59112 I have to agree, as the way Season 3 went, it sounded like something 4Kids would commission to keep the show going (in fact, 4Kids would actually get Toei to make the Coujin Crown arc that aired for America only, which decreased the violence and removed the symbols like the one appearing on Kid Muscle's head when he enters Ultimate Muscle mode).
Fun fact: for Molly’s death, in the scene where they Shadow and Rouge were standing by where the spot where she died, in the English dub the giant piece of scrap metal that was supposed to be her grave was removed. But if you look closely you can still see it at the part where Shadow tossed the chaos emerald to Rouge.
Wondering if this is one of the reasons why she's one of the main protagonists of the Sonic Prime series. Surprising how Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends trusts her when she's a thief
4Kids must hold a record for most butcherings of anime series; and for largest number of censorings of death in anime. Ironic that by creating the Shadow Realm in YuGiOh, they made a fate worse than death. In 4Kids’s (possible) defense, the Live & Learn thing was probably a licensing issue.
As appalling as the 4Kids censorship was, it did help introduce anime to Western audiences. Without them bringing Pokemon or Yu-gi-Oh! over and having it exposed to children, anime wouldn't be as big outside of Japan as it is now. That and they made the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series, which is probably the only memorable original show that was made by that company.
Dunno who it was, but they were given free reign as long as the story and character names remained intact. Everything else was free game.@@PowerPunk31590
Sonic X is one of my favorite Sonic the Hedgehog animation series, along with the Sonic SatAM and Sonic Prime. Fun Fact: The 4Kids Entertainment company started their voice acting in the video games series in 2005-2009, starting with Shadow the Hedgehog up until Sonic and the Black Knight. Also, before you say anything and hate me, I love Christopher Thorndyke and his human friends a lot! They will forever be in my heart as my favorite human characters in the Sonic franchise.
I watched the Japanese version first and was hoping when the English dub arrived they wouldn’t change anything. When it first aired on FoxBox I was extremely disappointed
As a Kid growing up in the 2000's, "Sonic X" was a Big Deal when it was 1st Aired on Television, I truly have a soft spot for it because of Nostalgia, But yeah, despite the 4Kids English Dub being an Anger Deucing to hear, the Censorship truly did Butchered it's original Japanese Content.
I didn't know there were censored moments in "Sonic X". That is interesting. By the way, I've been watching "Sonic X" since I was a baby!👶 I love that show! Sometimes, I run like Sonic.
Not only that, but the Shadow scene at the end of video. They somehow kept it in a flashback, but couldn't keep it in previous episodes in action. There's also other removed things such as text, whether English or foreign language such as Japanese. 4Kids either removes the frame, or deletes the text. In some instances, some text is removed, but some is left. This OCD for removing text also lead to inconsistencies such as when Chris Thorndyke confronts Dr. Eggman for bringing time to a standstill. While Chris was confronting him, the books Eggman took has text written on it's column in some frames, while in the same scene but in a different angle suddenly it becomes gone for good. There's also an explanation for this, there's this man named Alfred Khan, he was the CEO of 4Kids. He explained why he removed texts in shows 4Kids published because according to him "kids don't read" due to the fact that he had seen kids using MP3 players and watch TV's and don't read books. But saying it out loud also lead to controversy by both parents and librarians. The 2000s is a painful era for anime to exist, having anime censored without the creator's knowledge.
@@IMEEntertainment true, some of the text removal was done by TMS, but some of it was done by 4Kids, too. Believe it or not, 4Kids had a CEO named Alfred Khan, he had a controversial view that kids nowadays don't read because they listen to music via MP3 players and watch TV, this got a lot of people upset.
I'll admit that the dub had a lot of plotholes but most of it was still watchable, though the sub really was superior and I promised myself to rewatch it in its original context. Censorship is one thing but omitting one of the most iconic songs from Sonic and Shadow's team-up is borderline unforgivable
I'm surprised Sega hasn't done any 20th anniversary celebrations of Sonic X besides the Japanese subtitled Blu Ray of the complete series. It'd be nice if they did something nice
Sonic X's Japanese broadcast was actually cut short in Japan because it's not as popular as in US. It was finally given a full run to celebrate the live-action movie.
@@twistedgaming9185 Season 3 was supposed to air in Japan around Summer 2005 confirmed by Sonic Japanese voice actor (Jun'ichi Kanemaru). It was likely intended to be timed to when the Kids Station run was to end but was rejected due to the animation quality being unfinshed. It was sent over to France where it aired first (French version is the uncensored version). The early French version had an unfinished look. Noticably the space scenes whereas the backgrounds where often a gradient or soild color instead of the space graphic we see in the later versions.
I consider Sonic X a win as a anime. It was better off that those remained censored because it would’ve been more suggestive and be suitable for teens rather than kids.
The thing is that In Japan Anime isn’t targeted only at children. Even shows that are like Super senti have death in them. In power rangers in Japan the green ranger didn’t just lose his powers he flat out died
Wasn't there was a scene in the original where the sign said, "The House of Amy Rose" but in the dub, 4Kids removes the letters of the sign and the sign said nothing in like an emotional scene with Sonic and Amy?
iirc TMS, prior to sending it over to 4Kids and other dubbing studios, removed most if not all instances of english and japanese text with the assumption that the dubbers would replace whatever word with their language's counterpart
4kids didn't remove it. It was TMS that remove it. They removed the text themselves when they delivered a copy of the anime to 4Kids. It was an international copy (with exception of France, Thailand, Korea and Indonesia).
There was a moment during the Perfect Chaos crisis where military copters were firing missiles at Perfect Chaos. He absorbed them and vomited them out, back at the helicopters, blowing them up. The English dub added a line that was absent in the original: "THE PILOTS ARE OKAY!"
well that is away to keep the audience from just assuming the worst by informing them with a line like that. that it is well known that military helicopter pilots are able to get out with their lives
I'm bummed this series got censored. I like how one of the girls in the brothel has a beauty spot ;3. WHAT AM I FEELING!? I'VE NEVER BEEN AROUSED BEFORE! I like Cream. It's even better when she makes suggestive comments. Suki. So you like to play rough ;3? 6:55 (BANG) STILL ALIVE! THAT IS PROFESSOR GERALD ROBOTNIK! HE SURVIVED A SINGLE GUNSHOT! Didn't the game leave Maria's death in? Why the hell did they remove Live & Learn!? I don't think I would have been bothered by alcohol in animated scenes back then. After all I saw a guy get drunk in Sleeping Beauty. 10:23 SHIT!
…I’d agree with this comment outright if it were phrased as ‘Sonic X is the best Sonic Anime’ because it honestly is as its only competition is the Sonic OVA which was produced as a pilot to try to launch a Sonic anime back in the 90s but never got off the ground. Based on what the OVA displayed, I think even if that series had managed to get produced, it would have lacked the charm and quality of Sonic X. Now getting into the American made Sonic shows, I think it’s much harder argument on which is better. I personally think only SatAm Sonic really compares to Sonic X, both share the straddling of being both comedic while also being very dark and dramatic. (I won’t get in to the others because this is dragging on and I kinda want to make my point and end it before I end up stuck here all night) I think SatAm deserves to be kept seeing as it is the first real demonstration that Doctor Eggman/Robotnik could be a dark and sinister villain and still be the perfect villain for a Sonic series, and SatAm probably taught us that the Sonic series absolutely could fit in dark and serious villains without ruining the tone or charm of the series. Honestly, I’m kinda of the opinion that without SatAm, Sonic X wouldn’t have existed; because so much of what Sonic X does especially in the Metarex Saga(showing which dub and how I used to watch Sonic X growing up) seems to be based on the experiments of SatAm. So it kinda seems that in order to have Sonic X, you had to have first had SatAm. A lot of those challenges regarding choose one thing and the others cease to exist seem flawed to me on a fundamental level because a lot of the times they give you an option that influenced and shaped other options in the list. So it seems paradoxical if that one influential series ceases to exist because that could mean that it never existed in the first place and therefore where did the series you chose to keep get those influences that shaped it from now that the original source never existed? I put too much thought into these things. Jim Cummings in the SatAm helped shape my idea of what a serious Doctor Robotnik should sound like as he’s going about ruling a world he has effectively conquered while also working to remake it in his image and commuting horrible atrocities along the way, Jim Carey redefined it in the Sonic Movies and helped reconcile SatAm Robotnik to the more comical and whimsical Doctor Eggman from the games, and Mike Pollock gave us the ultimate Doctor Eggman in both the dub of Sonic X and every game since Shadow the Hedgehog. Wow, didn’t mean to go off topic but apparently I have a bad habit of chasing rabbits
I'll say this. I don't think it was too bad and I honestly really like Anime style Sonic the Hedgehog characters and I'd like to see more of it but it could've done better had they not focused on Chris and his family so much.
In the Japanese version tails actually said I love you cosmo before he had to do what he did it honestly just makes it all the more sad when you understand that
It makes me worry about how they're going to handle Shadow's character in the 3rd Sonic movie. Seeing a human kill one their own, especially one so young and kind, like it's nothing is what drives him to ultimately despise the rest of humanity. It makes us sympathise with him and realize that the world, even the Sonic universe, isn't black and white.
I think they’ll probably show her death but not in like a super violent way. Just enough that you understand she died. At least I hope so. You’re not the only one worried about it! Let’s pr they do it right!
Watched some episodes of both versions way back in middle school (back then, I had entered a bit of a Sonic phase). While I didn't mind the dub, I found the original to be even better. And of course, after discovering 4Kids' little habit of editing/censoring practically EVERYTHING, I feel my preference there was the right one.
At least I now know why we're better off relying on school to satisfy our uncensored needs, especially now that profanity has defensively made its way into curricular material.
0:43 I thought Boos were Mario enemies? 7:35 I'm quite sure that man would throw himself upon Shadow's mercy (or lack thereof) out of regret for what he did to Maria. GODDAMN U 4KIDS CENSORS!!!!!
10. I would like to think that as soon as Sonic was close to Amy, she felt his presence and overcame the mind control out of sheer love for Sonic. 😄 9. I can see why that was cut. Classless. 8. I mean, for obvious reasons... Though, I'm a little disturbed that Eggman's robot stuck around. 7. Sub or dub, I will never understand how or why Eggman's robots have a crush on Cream... 6. I mean... Those kind of jokes you'd expect in fan projects. 5. Jeez... Had to remind me of this moment... 😢 I still believe Cosmo is in that seed that was left behind... 4. I mean... it's not like we haven't played Sonic Adventure 2, so... 3. Same as number 4. 2. No comment. 1. I mean, violence against kids is messed up... No matter who it is. I'm just glad Shadow never did this to Amy in Sonic Adventure 2. Another weird censor moment: They never showed Ella vs Big in that Sonic Battle adaptation.
4kids Entertainment; ruining any dub they put their grimy hands on with the exception of jelly doughnuts. Granted, the west as pretty stupid in the early days of anime dubs, but 4kids was one of the worst offenders. It's amazing how long they lasted with their vandalism. Gerald Robotnik talking through being shot was badass though, you gotta admit.
Also from Cosmo's death scene: "I love you" is omitted from the dub. And you can't use the excuse of not wanting to show romance between children either, since it was already shown by that point.
I found out about Sonic's unusually spicy tongue a little while ago and instead of being shocked and horrified I felt more like the AVGN. He said shit! Sonic The Hedgehog said Shit! Oh my god, my life is complete! HE SAID SHIT!! 🌸💮🏵💮🌸🏵🌟🎉🎉🎉🎊HE SAAAIIID SHIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!🎉🎊🌟🎉🎉🎉🎊🏵🌸💮🌸🏵
To be fair: the target demographic they focused on was children to young teens. And that age range typically has the content severely curated to avoid what most people view as inappropriate for children. Modern television has gone through some strange and some not quite as strange strengthening and loosening of the regulations that determine what is appropriate for children; but ultimately you are probably right, 4Kids’ biggest problem was that they hyper focused on that child demographic which led to the censorship, but I feel like America back in the early 2000s was still struggling with that mindset of animation is an art form that exclusively appeals to kids(which is a mindset that we still deal with today)
I don’t really like Sonic X because of what happened to poor Cosmo… it started a huge drama in the fan community, and before I could get out of hand I decided to somehow bring her back 👍
I watched the dub when it was on as a little kid and as I've gotten older i have realized how crazy 4Kid got with the censors. My goodness I wish they didn't do any of this stuff it just soft af
The good Thing is that the french, korean, thai, indonesian, mandarin and cantonese dubs are based on the original japanese version meaning that these countries receibed the series untouches without any edits, but the rest of the dubs are based on the 4kids version meaning they had all the edits
@@kwtherandomchannel7177 Sonic X mostly revolves around the Adventure games, and those had mature themes that bordered the line between kid friendly and teen rating like the link between Knuckles' tribe and Chaos as well as Shadow's past.
Dubbed version duration: 27 hours and 18 minutes Subbed version duration: 32 hours So if you do the math, that's 4 hours and 42 minutes of content cut out by 4Kids
I think I finally get it now with this show. on Twitter people wanted to keep this one over even satam. and that shocked the shit out of me. but clearly I see they mean the Japanese version. it definitely seems like it was a better show. but... Given the material, is it really THAT much better? maybe one day I'll watch it. especially if people are keeping that over satam.

And this is why Censoring anything just ruins everything.
It’s for kids
Good ol' America & 4Kids
@@keip4568 Hey, at least it went out of business.
The show is for children. Deal with it. 😂
Cosmo and Molly's deaths were super well done originally, I originally watched the 4kids version then realised how much I missed out
Honestly, the Japanese dub just made Molly another Maria and that made the bonding time Shadow spent with her basically kind of pointless in my opinion.
oh alright
technically in the english dub it shows her flying towards the fleet but doesn't show her changing angles and flying upwards it cuts to shadow landing and saying that he wont forget her that is the english dubs way of saying that she died without showing alot of kids with very short attention spans would have stopped watching just right at the time they saw her flying towards the ships because something else would of caught their attention especially for those that are ADD and ADHD
I am so happy the Japanese version was released on Blu-Ray. When I saw that I immediately knew I was gonna buy it. And I did.
What makes the censorship funny is how inconsistent it was. In the very same arc where the dub censored the suicidal flight into running away, they still showed the one dude getting assimilated into that tree and dying. And don't get me started on Rouge and her constant appearance changes, sometimes in the same episode.
My god 4kids was too over protected by localize Japanese series, especially Maria and Molly’s death.
@@GlitchanBlack Wow...
Like I said in one of their videos.
I think somebody in localization doesn't know how censorship works.

At least we’re finally get a Subtitled Version on Blu-ray Disc soon.

They should come back to redub it with every scene intact
I want them back to voice the games cause Eggman and Vector are still here
Blame the FCC
I think you mean millions
It's a shame sonic x didn't get a season 4. It would,d have been very great.
Because Season 3 was never broadcasted in Japan after produced. It was sent over to France where it aired first. French version is the uncensored version.
Meh the show ran its course like all shows...they can't last forever...same thing with BBC's Merlin. Sonic X was a very good show though.
Another mention:
They also removed the ending scene during the Sonic Battle adaptation arc.
What was that scene?
@Marco Castillo Well, the Japanese don’t have an anti-swearing agenda as the West.

Well not sure who dubbed ghost stories but I think that's the most butchered anime although the most funniest too

one of the most impactful things sonic x had on the fandom was dark sonic, despite the form only appearing for less than a minute
Sonic X deserves an Uncut/Redub keep the original soundtrack new cast would be great
Not only that, but the Shadow scene at the end of video.
4Kids didn't remove the text in Sonic X, TMS Entertainment did, done for international releases, even in Asia where they handled the series.
@@IMEEntertainment true, some of the text removal was done by TMS, but some of it was done by 4Kids, too. 4:42 this one I can understand why they censored, but it is way funnier in the Japanese version and makes better sense why the soldiers laugh
I'll admit that the dub had a lot of plotholes but most of it was still watchable, though the sub really was superior and I promised myself to rewatch it in its original context. Censorship is one thing but omitting one of the most iconic songs from Sonic and Shadow's team-up is borderline unforgivable

There was a moment during the Perfect Chaos crisis where military copters were firing missiles at Perfect Chaos. He absorbed them and vomited them out, back at the helicopters, blowing them up. The English dub added a line that was absent in the original: "THE PILOTS ARE OKAY!"

10:23 SHIT!
This was my childhood. This still is the best Sonic tv show of all time. Prime comes close though in terms of tone and personality
To this day Sonic X is still the best Sonic Show
…I’d agree with this comment outright if it were phrased as ‘Sonic X is the best Sonic Anime’ because it honestly is as its only competition is the Sonic OVA which was produced as a pilot to try to launch a Sonic anime back in the 90s but never got off the ground.

Rest in Pieces, 4Kids. Their anime dubs were the worst. They had a very low opinion about their audiences.

If Rouge was there, he would have a good noise bleed. 😂
I wish Sonic X had a sequal.
