I have a problem.. I just got this and my lighter plug in my car doesn't work (just got the car and didn't know it didn't work till I got this) and suggestion what to do?
Very easy to install but they aren’t waterproof like they claim. I’m on my third one in the last year and each one has died after a handful of carwashes. Water kills the solar panel. Even tried waterproof tape over the rubber plug where there pair button and USB input are but it still gets in. Garbage. Just gonna pay to have one hardwired into my car.

Please update your video. The link you have here brings you to a product that no longer includes the remote button. I contacted the seller and they said the remote button was replaced with a on-off button on the cig lighter interface. Our unit has this type button. Camera boots up automatically when you start the car. We did order. Easy to install and set up. It's been raining every day so we will see if it can hold up to continuous dark rainy days. Luckily, we have until Feb 26 to return if it fails. Pretty good quality image.
I just order one and it does not have that button to activate the camera. The button is now in the cigarette lighter plug which I dont like. I dont know if brand offer that removable button so I can put it anywhee you want
Jeep owners these cameras are great…..but, if your license plate is located on the lower left rear of your Jeep the camera is useless as a backup camera because the backup guidelines are off center. It’s still great as a rear view camera though.
Turn on instantly the moment you press the button. I have place my button on gear shift lever, so every time i hold it to put in reverse i push that button too. It became a habit now.

@@ButterNoToast , thanks! So I bought one from FBM, it had a remote on the cigarette lighter power input. It doesn't work for continuous streaming, it streams a maximum of 90 seconds at a time. Secondly, it keeps losing connectivity between the camera and the monitor. My trailer was 17 feet in length plus 20 feet of the truck

Well it showed up. No Remote button (as your video clearly shows as a great feature) or extensions to fit the license plate. I will install tomorrow. I bought this unit but don't want to have the cable running to my cigarette lighter inside the cabin of my 2003 mercedes 240C. is there a way of wiring it to a switched fuse to power the unit only when the car is running? I already tried cuting the lighter adapter off and runing it to a fuse block inside the car but all the fuses had constant power and the camera would drain my battery...any help would be appreciated...

the screen kills it...just make it connect to a head unit or a clip on rearview mirror ...the buttons a pain in the ass....the solar part is cool but that's why it cant work with the just put ur car in reverse feature
For the person who asks - doesn't my 2022 car have a back up camera.... yes it does but I have a lifted 4x4 with a rear tire carrier so my rear view is completely blocked with my stock back up camera.

Thanks for letting me know about the US Link. The company probably stopped selling the Solar ones in the US and added the non solar one instead under same link. However the CA and EU links are still solar. It is simple to install and you require more help please fill free to reach out to any of my DMs.

Since you already had a factory backup camera why didn't you mount on the front license plate? That's what I did and it works perfectly on my truck!
