Thanks for the video. You are the only one to explain how to adjust the guidelines. The instructions did not address this. You also showed how to properly turn on/off the camera when not in use.
Can you mount the camera vertically? Can you adjust the display accordingly i.e. vertically mounted camera with normal display? Can you swap in a higher capacity Li battery?
Having some difficulties with this piece after I was able to get it to turn on once. I wanted to try and out and see how well it worked and it all seem to work fine. But I had the solar panel coming in and didn't want to install it till that piece came in. Well today it came in and I went to get it set up, and the monitor that I put inside the car just doesn't seem to turn on now and I Couldn't figure out why. It doesn't even show the red lights on the side of the monitor telling us it's in stand bye mode. When plugged into my 12v slot the light indicator on the machine seems to be on, but the monitor still doesn't power up. Any suggestions?

I have been caught by the police because the lamp illuminating the license plate went out. I was warned once. When viewed from the screen, after installing the product, the lamp that illuminates the license plate is completely covered, resulting in the effect of no lamp. Will there be any legal problems?

Can we install it on the other side of car where license plate is not there?
It needs an automatic sensor to know when the car is reversing (if that's possible) so it automacially switches on. Having to manually activate it every time will become tiresome. Those reversing guidelines also need to alert you either visually or audibly (or both) if something appears or if you're getting too close.
Only possible if you hardwire it tot the reverseing light if you want it to automatically turn on when u go back.

Hi, I wonder do you know whether both the camera and the solar panel are safe to go through a car wash. I typically wash my car at a gas station twice a week, and I'm concerned about whether the car wash could potentially damage the camera or the solar panel.
The camera unit is weather proof so it's fine going through a car wash.

We just received our Auto-Vox camera. In order to be able to open the suv's hatch, with the camera installed as shown, we had to mount the camera upside down at the bottom of the license plate. Our display is now upside down and opposite the guiding lines. We cannot understand from the manual how to get it all right side up and together. Can you clarify how to do this? Your video is excellent, but does not make clear to me how to turn the display around so road and guidelines are show correctly. Thank you very much.
How well does it function in the winter if it stays snowy or cloudy for several days?

My camera has a backup camera. Personally, back up camera is useless, I never use it.
It will be better a camera looking to the right when backing up so you could be able to see the cars coming from the right.
None of the UTs talk about the tube blocks the License Plate Lights... so at night the cops will pull you over if they can not make out the plate! Maybe mounting it on the bottom will resolve that point>?
Valuable review. The only thing I'll have to research further is if there is an easy way to switch between channel one and channel 2
The only way I figured out to do it is go to pair mode and you can switch between cameras there but there should've been an easier way to toggle between front and back

AFAIK, you can't for this one, but if you want 2 camera system, you can take a look at the W7. However you do have to wire in the power wire to the camera. Full review th-cam.com/video/JFr2fQyQQaQ/w-d-xo.html
Auto-Vox informed me this TW1 does support 2 cameras with 1 monitor.

Isn't it a bit of a drag that you have to turn it on every time you need to backup and keep it charged? I much prefer mine that comes on as soon as I go into reverse, I've just got the vox TW1 but I know for a fact that faffing around would soon bug me, I'm going to send it back, thanks for the video 👍

well if you want it to show the lines how the wheels are turning and to automatically come on then yes, but otherwise it can just be used as a rear view camera... but yeah for true REVERSE assistance you need to connect to reverse light tho

How quickly will the battery drain in cold weather?
