As a DM, I could not stop laughing as the group tried to stop Viari from killing Omin. Chris Perkins, well done sir.
MY GOD. Viari can MILK. THAT. SHIT. XD No wonder Chris gives him leway XP And why everyone loves him XD If I was playing Viari, I'd be chucking Inspiration at him all game XD
Seems like the whole "chosen by the gods" thing never made it into 5e
Haha @4:50 I just see in my mind Omin yelling the hold spell and bashing Viari in the face with the shield

wow, they really were close to a party sweep...
to the comments about Mike knowing Chris is a trap laying Dm. soo. Jim the character has always been brash and uncaring. You role play your character not player knowledge.
Nickolas Barmenkov he's got Bard skills though, misdirected mark etc.
I thought he was playing Bard to showcase the new character (like Wil playing an Avenger) and encourage people to buy Handbooks 2 & 3.

What version of d&d are they using?
I believe they are using the un-released DnD Next.
Not to be a wet blanket, but how can "V" sing his song when he took his next turn to attack Omin??
...maybe it was just a grace thing...
It seems like their health rises and lowers throughout the series, do they remake their characters every so often?
This was done during the dnd next playtest period... after 5e came out they remade them to be in line with the new rules and the original podcast was done in 4e for the first 4 seasons
5-man parties are pretty good. And I hope Al gets re-hired too, he was the David Spade to the rest of the party's Farley.
I actually had a little problem with the miracle resurrection...very un-Chris like. In the past, whatever happened happened, and they fixed it later. Could have done that here. Besides, Jim never should have been in that situation. How many games has Mike done with Chris? He didn't remember how much Chris loves traps? Simple rule: If Chris is the DM and something out of the ordinary is going on, assume it's a set up.
so much better with out wil..I like wil but he was so loud so dramatic so much over acting, the group is just so much better without him
Meh! imho WIl is great. He gets a lot of stick for actually BEING an actor. just saying.
