You know, Morgan really grew on me this time around. She was solid enough in her first two appearances (the neurotic "Is she prettier than me?!" was a real highlight from Season 7) but I think she's a bit more confident and such, on a better wavelength, etc.
PeterWDawson i didn't really enjoy her previously but she meshed better with the rest this time i think. slight lack of dwarf perhaps, but solid performances all-round. thoroughly enjoyed it ^^
When you say Season 7 - are there other videos to watch? The series on PennyArcade just has 12 episodes and all have Scott - is there a podcast or something of them playing more than the PAX events and the 12 recorded episodes?

I was overjoyed to see the new game is up and then brought down low to see that Scott is leaving. I'll miss his and Mike's antics on their end of the table. They were like the two friends that sit in the back of the class that laugh and get into trouble all the time.

I was a little worried this show would suffer without Scott, but damn, they really did an amazing job! Morgan did an awesome job fitting in and working with the group, and they all had great chemistry. Awesome game! :D

He didn't tell them not to do it. He literally said from time to time it's nice but when it is a constant thing it becomes annoying. That to me seems pretty fair.

Scott's time had come and he chose the right time to bow out. Always leave them wanting more. You could tell he was becoming increasingly disinterested and grumpy in the later games and his digs at Pat made me feel he resented his growing popularity and perceived favouritism from Chris (Chandeliers! Chandeliers everywhere!)
Morgan is a great addition, and though the game was slow to get going (the crowd took a while to get their heads around Scott's absence) things really picked up midway through. A good balance of personalities and no overbearing egos (hint hint Aeofel)

Chris Perkins was simply amazing with this game and all the players did a fantastic job! Great session but terrible audience. I say this directed at the small handful of idiots who thought it was appropriate to yell their ideas at the players throughout the game. Just because you can participate in saying "Green Flame" does not make the entire thing your own personal participation show. 100% agree with Rothfuss' comments to the crowd near the end.
Boy, but that guy that shouted out the Lord of Waterdeep idea at 1:13:44 sure was helpful. Right, guys? I'm sure we all liked what he shouted, really helped the story and stuff. What a great guy!

admittedly I prefer the audience dialogue to simply be funny jokes; rather than plot driving or just extra powergaming(unless it's saving someone)
like saying "Wand of Wonder" 2minutes after being told not to use it is perfect.
@rr ww, Not saying there haven't been funny moments because of something an audience member said, and while I can't speak for everyone, I don't mind those shout outs every once in a while. Even Patrick Rothfuss said "occasionally it's nice" (2:34:20). The reason I think people have been critical on the "callers" this event was because they weren't coming at moments where players stopped and going "Hmm...wonder what I should do" and were yelling before a player could even finish their statement on what they were going to do. When people think they can just start shouting what a player should do throughout the whole game or try to yell something for a laugh, it's a problem. It's a problem for the people on stage and the people there to enjoy watching them play. Also, if you watch the players, more often then not, while they ignore most of the shouts, it still threw off their rhythm or thought process.
Just because someone shouts a good idea does not entitle them, or others, to shout throughout the whole game. It is not an audience participation show or a comedy standup hour for audience members, it's not your game, they are not your characters; let the people play the damn game!

I'd love to be at the table with these guys, or any with Chris Perkins as the DM. I really feel like I could RP a character and join in into these adventures. Then again I think that's probably what most people who watch are feeling and that's why it is so popular
I started playing (2011ish) with a rule Nazi DM. Finally got a DM later a bit better. Then it was eventually my turn.
I discovered AQ Inc. and more specific Chris Perkins. Learned so much from his DM style that my 3 months became a 3 year campaign as it was so well received. My players learned my (and therefore chris’ style).
Ever since, whoever DMs has run a fantastic game.
What I’m trying to say is… get a table together and lead by example.

How in the nine hells does Viari only have a +2 in deception?! His entire thing (aside from chandeliers and destroying his own arm) is talking people up while stealing their shit.
Also, Morgan was absolutely amazing, it seems she really hit her stride with the group this time around. I enjoyed her previously, but she seemed a bit... uncertain of her place.
Yeah, she was awesome this game. :) Definitely seemed much more comfortable and had much better chemistry with the group as a whole.
Waiting for next PAX because of you guys. I wish I had every DnD session like yours.

First off I LOVE THESE! I hope they keep making them.
I know a lot of fans will be sad about Benwin but really the last few Scott seemed really unhappy and even a bit nasty to the others, and even to the film crew and staff in the D&D series they did. So to be honest I'm glad he's gone. Like Scott said himself, it was time for him to go. Please don't flame me. Just my opinion. I actually love Table Titans :D .
Honestly I'm sad to see one of the original three go but like you said, if he didn't want to be there I'd rather not have him there as opposed to just going through the motions.

I imagine the fact he found Scott venomous in his real life had a big impact on their interactions.
He did, but that didn't stop Wil from being a poor player. Scott does have his own issues (with numbers and stuff), but Wil's complaints paled in comparrison. Being called 'Al', character dying after a party split, badgering Chris about the acid pool. To quote Omen, 'Sheive it.'
Wheaton is just a virtual signalling SJW. As soon as someone (Scott) doesn't toe the party line, they are toxic scum and not worth the smallest decency, respect or grace.

Morgan did a great job, but even if she did a shit job it still would have been better than having to stomach that specious, hypocritical, narcissistic, dishonest bullshit artist that is Wheaton and the culture that breeds his mindset.
you all rule SO much. i love watching acquisitions inc/first 15/patv and all of your other projects. i love that child's play is a real thing. i think you're GREAT role models for geek culture everywhere and i really want you guys to remember that there's a horde of people who feel the same.
