Cooking our homegrown artichokes! Making fried artichokes with a Labne dipping sauce!!

I tested out a new recipe using purple artichokes we started from seed and we harvested in April (Southern California, zone 10 in San Diego) I also used our homegrown Meyer lemon, garlic chives and naturism for garnish. If you are able to find Labneh I definitely recommend it for the dipping sauce!
I love the purple color! I've never had fried artichokes, but I will definitely try it out when mine are ready. Beautiful presentation!
It’s so pretty! And you have to try it fried. It was my first time and I wanted to try something special. I got the seeds a few years ago from baker creek. The variety is Violet de Provence Artichoke
