Ogre using heavy weapons : "At this point were no longer talking about actually cutting the enemy down, but more along the lines of a brutal car accident happening everytime that fat fock decides to take a swing."
Maneaters are really a combo of mercenaries, hunters and cosplayers. They are the weeaboos of Ogredom. Speaking of which, if they ended up in Nippon, they would just have to find themselves some fukhuge anime weapons.
So in other words an ogre wanders into Cathy in his "Sunday best", the sweetest, most innocent smile on his face and a little cardboard sign ,that says will work kill and eat enemies for food, And the people around him give into their feelz, check their privilege and take pity on this poor soul?
12:19 I don't know, an Ogre dual wielding great axes sounds pretty damn effective. No need to defeat the shield wall if after two swings any individual foe with a shield will want to get the hell out of the way and his shoulder to stop feeling like it's on fire.
6:17 - Chaos ogre maneater? The best of both worlds! Though ogre ninja sounds cool as well, i wonder how much swordsmanship, hand-to-hand and stealth an eager to learn ogre can actually absorb and sucessfully use?
Has there been any confirmation about chaos ogres or the large monsters that weren't part of the original chaos release being available in the near future? I'm still disappointed that the empire and bretonnia don't have access to maneaters. That's life I guess.
I have a dozen Ogres in my Warhammer army ... and they are "Zookeepers of Altdorf" ... (you kinda need big guys to keep big monsters). [One of them looks suspiciously like Hulk Hogan.]
Hey Arch, have you considered making a video on Cathay, Araby, Amazons and some other lesser known Warhammer factions? Not to mention how they'd fit into a Total War game
I feel like Ogres are done best by Warhammer. The lore actually gives them real sentience, not merely a power of speech to create roleplay opportunities to mock them like most every other setting does. Ogres can be civilized, literally, so long as they are well-fed. Sure, the gluttony is overplayed at times, but the basic idea that the way to an ogre's heart is through his stomach is charmingly different. I have long adapted my DnD and other settings to be like Warhammer Ogres, making far more interesting NPCs and companions.
This it’s why I love the spellforce 3 trolls more than lotr or even warhammer trolls but the same rule applies they are an actual race that is more than just “roar big angry monster” it’s why ogres usurped greenskins and my favorite race they have so much opportunity in them for role play or gameplay
2:53 "They even go as far as to adopt their customs, with one example. No ogre will ever give up its guttplate" You meant to say exception, I think. However, considering the vast amount of lore videos you've brought us, one minor error in a language that is not your first is actually pretty fucking amazing. Keep up the good work, mighty Arch.
Image a man eater that was completely shredded I'm talking 100% muscle mass zero % body fat. Top that shit off with the genius level intelligence. The amount of shit that beast could do.
Imagine if they got the Ogars, fitted out in suits of hardened steel, painted and lacquered, for rust protection, with leather lining on the inside of the armor plates for both reduced noise of clanging armor, minor protection against the heat and cold that steel tends to change to based on the weather conditions and flame weapons, as well as the leather lining to give some protection against metal shards in the armor, being pierced by crossbow bolts, or light cannon shot, for example. Then you just need to train the ogar to run, jog, sprint at battle speeds, and so on. A human tactician can split the ogars into squads, platoons, or companies, and just send orders to the leaders of said groups, to formulate an actual battle plan. As long as the ogars can to at least trained to move together in a combat squad, with one squad leader, and second in command, that they will follow.
I always have loved the Ogres and have a variety of lead belchers as well as maneaters and a hunter. I dont play fantasy I just loved them and made a small unit to display for fun. One of the maneaters I gave a warship mast complete with flag as a weapon and a jaunty hat because why not...
I’ve always believed the ogre man eater was one of the most under utilized concepts in war hammer. The fact each one lurns and collects gear from the culture they serve with has so mutch potential. I’ve seen all these great molds of them for every faction on 1d4chan. They had ariby ogres duel wielding giant swords dwarf man eaters with a bearded and hammer a catha ogre with a fireworks canon A skaven ogre with a warp fire thrawer a lizard man man eater with dinosaurs done weapons and armor a vampire ogre a mummy ogre even a slan ogre riding one of there giant floting chairs. Even a clan skeir man eater with a robot arm. Not to mention the effect this all as on the gnoblars they bring with them. We’ve all laughed ate the pairet gnoblar but really think about it I’m convenient the Gnoblar Pigback Riders are or at least started as gnoblars who went to britiano and so the nights jousting and charging into combat and imulated them. And the others mobles show them there to the skaven model as a gnoblar dressed like a plague monk anoth with a giant rat a the green skin manetar has a noblar and a squig sents there goblins and that work with night or forest goblins should be able to lurn some of there tricks the lizard man ogre has a spear and is helping him capture a live dinosaur. Speaking of witch don’t beast coaster ogres ever become man eaters think off all the beast they could bring back dinosaurs from lustra trolls from and giant spider from green skins gorgons from beast man all the chreats of the choas wast hell there’s even a teentren moble with wings and a second ogre taring a way out of the main ones gut there so mutch you can do here
At the end of the video, I finally realized that the parrot-gnoblar had the bottom part of his nose chomped off, to create the beak-look. It was really confusing at first, since I didn't seem to find any obvious signs of ownership! Sneaky sneaky ogre.
Hey Arch, can you do a lore video on the "Asia" part of the Fantasy universe, like Ind, Cathay and Nippon? I know it will definitely be short but I would like to see you try to scrape as much information as possible from all of the sources.
O_O.... How Scary Would a Fit, Ripped and Muscular Ogre would be with a full battle plate Armor forged by Dwarfs with Runes on it and Train By Sigmarite Battle Priest with a big ass Runic Hammer Like Ghal Maraz holy shit talk about a Full Chaos Killing Machine
I can't stop laughing at the Savage Orc Warpaint reference! Fucking wonderful! Also I never knew that ducking parrot was a Gnoblar that's great!! Fucking Cow-cum!
Ogre using heavy weapons : "At this point were no longer talking about actually cutting the enemy down, but more along the lines of a brutal car accident happening everytime that fat fock decides to take a swing."
I love ogres...Every time I play an RPG I play one. So much fun....After every fight, a meal! A large prey selection, and no natural predators!
I love the Ninja ogre
@@carlosCastillo-qb1le There is such a thing?
@@SuperAmaton yes Nippon ogre
Shwang
Oh shit... I have seen Pirate Ogre so many times from the distance, but never realised that it was NOT a parrot on his shoulder.
Same here, mate
I also didn't realise that this "female" Ogre is holding giant roller
Yeah the plot twist about the parrot has kinda ruined my whole world view.
Gonad The Nomad To be fair even the worlds largest my cars aren’t nearly big enough to be that big in comparison to the twice human size ogres
I just love how ogre try their best to culturally assimilate in their own way.
OMG!!!! CULTURAL APPROPRIATION!!! CALL THE CANADIAN HUMAN RIGHTS COURTS!!! REMOVE HIS WHITE PRIVILEGE!/s
haha you fool he's a minority you oppressive jerk
Ogres get to play dressup.
@Dexter Jack No one uses that, not even the bot above me.
Ogre's don't use muskets and blunderbusts. They use hand-cannons, a literal cannon they carry like a blunderbust.
tyrant and man eaters use pistol
That would be the led belchers . Some of them even carry a lit spark fuse in their teeth so they can light it on the go.
This is how you explain the concept of flanking to Ogres: "You like eating ribs?"
*Maneater plays in the background*
ha
Oooohoh here she comes
Retrosic Maneater deffinetly
And I nearly feared that it was already all ogre with your fantasy lore vids.
It's not ogre. It's never ogre!
Maneaters are really a combo of mercenaries, hunters and cosplayers. They are the weeaboos of Ogredom. Speaking of which, if they ended up in Nippon, they would just have to find themselves some fukhuge anime weapons.
An Ogre mercenary’s tale repertuar is like an onion.
It has layers.
So in other words an ogre wanders into Cathy in his "Sunday best", the sweetest, most innocent smile on his face and a little cardboard sign ,that says will work kill and eat enemies for food, And the people around him give into their feelz, check their privilege and take pity on this poor soul?
Dark Dragon Dragoon Hey ogres aren’t fat it’s all muscle with a quilt but they are not fat
More so you feed and point the fat F##& that just walked into town at the enemy village the hope he eats the other guy and not you.
Golgfag blates going to be a legendary lord but would love to be able to hire the halting munching merc
12:19 I don't know, an Ogre dual wielding great axes sounds pretty damn effective. No need to defeat the shield wall if after two swings any individual foe with a shield will want to get the hell out of the way and his shoulder to stop feeling like it's on fire.
Gotrek and myself are extremely impressed with this video...keep up the good work Arch 👍👍👍
Woa ho here he comes,
watch out boy hell chew you up,
Woa ho here he comes,
he's a man eater.
But what about the women? That's sexist!
#femenids
Make you work hard make you spend hard
Make you want all of her love
She's a maneater
I have commenced building my second 40k army. I am building the salamanders, emperor help me.
A Random Crusader - are you going to have precious lord lavanugget in it or is it not 30k with primarchs?
Aephus Victus
It's 40k so no vulkan
A Random Crusader - ahhh so He'Stan is the chapter master/head of the army then correct?
Aephus Victus
Tu'shan yes
its Tu'Shan? whyd i think it was He'stan?
6:17 - Chaos ogre maneater? The best of both worlds! Though ogre ninja sounds cool as well, i wonder how much swordsmanship, hand-to-hand and stealth an eager to learn ogre can actually absorb and sucessfully use?
Why do I have a feeling the Ogre Kingdoms are going to field super cheap Gnoblar units, and you would only see the Ogre as shock units and thats it.
Fuck that shit. I want to see some motherfucking Stonetusk charge
I have a similar feeling for chaos dwarves
That would Fucking suuuuuck
Grombrindal they'll probably be worse trolls but in larger numbers
Has there been any confirmation about chaos ogres or the large monsters that weren't part of the original chaos release being available in the near future? I'm still disappointed that the empire and bretonnia don't have access to maneaters. That's life I guess.
I think if an Ogre wants to be a Ninja no one would,at least those who like the act of staying alive, try to talk down to him on that.
Excellent various ogre conversion examples and a entertaining lore video as always.
I have a dozen Ogres in my Warhammer army ... and they are "Zookeepers of Altdorf" ... (you kinda need big guys to keep big monsters). [One of them looks suspiciously like Hulk Hogan.]
I'm seeing visions of a Man Eater version of Don Quixote with a Gnoblar as his trusty squire.
Two more years...
Just two more years and I can finally field multiple armies of large units.
Hey Arch, have you considered making a video on Cathay, Araby, Amazons and some other lesser known Warhammer factions? Not to mention how they'd fit into a Total War game
Yeah, since Warhammer Fantasy is gone at the moment, CA can be creative with their take on the "Asia" part of the universe.
Well Ogres are now in Total Warhammer
Can we please have a black templars lore video?!
Deus vult my dude!

in 9th age ogre mercenaries are deadly! they are able to wreck anything
excellent background music for this one, it suggests a bit of humor which fits perfectly for this video
Image a man eater that was completely shredded I'm talking 100% muscle mass zero % body fat. Top that shit off with the genius level intelligence. The amount of shit that beast could do.
Tell me more about this new tactic called "flan-king"
i have to take it also as an explanation for 40k ogryns they are almost the same.
Arch, an idea for you - Blood Bowl lore. With your style and humor this could be the best video ever =)
10:08 Ogre ninja?
Can't stop laughing.
Time for good ol arch friday of pleasures again
I'd love to play as the Ogre's in Total War: Warhammer 3. Thanks for the fun vid, arch!
Arch your lizardmen videos got me to start building a skink and kroxigor army for fantasy long live the old world!!
All this talk about flan-king has my head spinning.
10:03 I see that this Ogre decided to hang out with the Blood Angels
Now I want to play Mount and Blade Warhammer Mod

great video Arch
I just now realized the Lady-Ogre Maneater has a Gnoblar in his (her???) cauldron.

One of your best lore vids yet, Arch. Please do more piss take style vids.
Can we have night lords lore video. You did me but not my sons?
Konrad Curze
BEGONE HERETIC!
Wait... you hate your sons!!
Konrad Curze marry me plz
Jago could reallly use a vid, then perturabo, then kroger, etc.
At the end of the video, I finally realized that the parrot-gnoblar had the bottom part of his nose chomped off, to create the beak-look. It was really confusing at first, since I didn't seem to find any obvious signs of ownership! Sneaky sneaky ogre.
The music fits perfectly
Are you going to do a lore video on Ogrryn? Or abhumans in general?
Pretty sure he has done a video on the Squats.
I'm interested to listen to what he has to say about the felinids.
An Oger with a Bow would be basicly Artillerie.
There is a Shrek Ogre man-eater on eBay.
God help us all
I am in need of ogre mercenaries any takers you'll get food, money, and a fuckhueg gut plate.
A lore video in the Ogres? YES! 😁
Can we have an Abaddon the despoiler video?
*Failbaddon the Armless
This really is bad luck, only a twenty minute video.
Lame jokes aside, nice to have a new video once more.
literally feeding the machine of war! ARES APPROVES!
Pirate Ogre Mercenary, an Ogre on a ship. An Ogre commanding a pirate crew. Am I the only one that found love at first fight with this?
Wee need ogres for Total War Warhammer
lmao this is really good Arch
I like the music in the background
I noticed a lot more pictures than usual.....Nice.
surpsingly hard to find this vid nowdays
ARCH.
YOU DO THE ALLFATHER PROUD!!! I LOVE YOUR CONTENT!!!!
You should have made today about the Lamenters. I mean, it's Friday the 13th, a day of bad luck. And who has worse luck than the Lamenters?
A hand canon.
“Hand cannon”
I never noticed that the parrot was a gnoblar.
11:11 Captain MountainsOfMourn
I'm starting to wonder if Arch has a thing for ferrets.
Would love a Legion of the Damned lore video, or a nice 13th founding lore video!
I'm sorry, but I lost my shit at 'Ogre Ninjas'.
Hey Arch, can you do a lore video on the "Asia" part of the Fantasy universe, like Ind, Cathay and Nippon? I know it will definitely be short but I would like to see you try to scrape as much information as possible from all of the sources.

Yea...no...im going the other way...fuck that...ogre with what is a flail...no money or honor in the universe is worth that shit
I can't stop laughing at the Savage Orc Warpaint reference! Fucking wonderful! Also I never knew that ducking parrot was a Gnoblar that's great!!
Fucking Cow-cum!
The chasos ogre looked so cool!
Arch can you do a video on Argel Tal?
i need to ask the slann if we could hire some ogres
Ork warpaint works because waaagh. Wouldn't the ork's belwif it works mean it keeps working even on the ogre, at least when the orge is with the orks?
So some went native? | 4:26 - No...just no. | 15:24 - Like them, Orcs lack subtlety.
But the most ecologic solution would be a scythe
666th retelling of a story triggers Ogre Armageddon.
10:57 Best ninja movie ever
I'm surprised the this lore video and many Warhammer fantasy lore videos are untreadmarked
Any plans to do lore videos about Vashanesh, Ushoran, W'Soran or Melkhior?
So you can have a Chaos Fox spirit who possesses a Ogre Maneater, So I can build Naruto down to Orange gear and love of ramen?
Ninja ogre's.
Make it happen sensei!
Hey the music is back!
Flan-king...sounds interesting
20 min ? *sob* *sob*
Is bbn it just me or do the orge sculpts look like very large dwarves
If an Ogre had an actual pike, would it be called a skewer?
Are there any races that Ogres won't ally with? Such as Vampires, Skavin, High Elves or Lizardmen?
FUmarc no, other factions will simply not ally with them.
Mortato Doesnthaveasurname
So if given the chance, they would fight for undead or Skaven?
FUmarc if they got fed then yes, they do not give a shit about much else.
I want them to add Ogres so we can make maneater mercenary units for the empire.
