I fucking love the Ogres. They're essentially early prototypes of what the Old Ones planned to make the Master Race. Proto-space marines, with every genetic bug and kink of "early alpha" still present. :P
The fact that The Ogres are often hired as mercinaries by almost all of the other races is awesome. It actually make Fantasy feel like a world the could, possibly, just Maybe exist. A world of almost constant war and unrest. But one that could actually function. 40k on the other hand, with all it's races seemingly INCAPABLE of coperation on ANY level. Feels like it should have destroyed it's own galaxy in a few hundred years.
I have never really been a Ogre fan until I watched your videos on them. Also seeing the trailers of the Ogre Kingdoms in warhammer 3 I can not wait to play them in the game!
Personally, I have a great mechanic for the Maneaters. Every three turns or so, you get a message. "A number of your tribe wishes to make their fortune. Where should they go?" And then you can send them to one of four places. And then three turns later, the Ogres return and you get a force of Maneaters. I mean, the Tomb Kings and the Vampire Coast both early on get an option to get a hero. So I see this as like a part of that or maybe even a game mechanic for the whole Ogre Kindgoms gameplay. Like "Will Occasionally send members to become Mannhunters"
I believe Yeti would be more similar to that of the Norsca Skin Wolves since you could use the Skin Wolves to shock cavalry as in a similar way one uses Rat Ogres, only that they have the Frostbite perk. I see Gorgers more like a Vargheist or Ghoul Kings type of unit and number. But yeah they would do wonders as a flanking unit I see the Rinox as a shock Calvary while the others as a flanking Calvary. Both expensive which if not able to be afforded one can use the Yetis and Gorgers as a replacement. However with the Stone Tusk I see in a similar light as how the Lizardmen use Stegadons or Bastiladons sort of like Siege beasts and mounts for heroes or Lords. The Thundertusks would be use as an artillery beast shooting ice like an Ancient Salamader shoots fire, also having the frostbite perk making them hard to kill since they pretty much defend themselves. The Scrap cannon I see it as how the Vampire Coast posses their Giant Cannon. So essentially Bruisers are like the Ork Nobs in the 40K Universe? I see the Ogre Hunters as having a Perk of allowing Monster Units/Calvary to cost less and being able to give a buff to them in the battlefield. Perhaps they could have a Regiment of Renaun as a unit called "Giant Slayers" (which if the name doesn't imply they are experts at killing enemy monster units) or the Fire Bellies can be also a one of this regiments
God, that cocky prick in the soap ads!!! nice vid, i'm oddly drawn to the lore of lesser races such as these. Yes I know "Skaven Mater Race, yes? yes."
I am new to Warhammer. I have been watching all of your lore videos. In fact I was hoping you had every single Army that was in tabletop, as I have not played Total War Warhammer yet at all and cannot wait to get all the games. And I'm trying to decide which army I would like to start collecting in tabletop.
@@andreikrivov2271 Ogre Butchers use Trolls as ingredients. Ogres are really not afraid of them hell they are immune to the chaos effects of Trolls due to Gut Magic in general they see them as food most fo the time.
Why are the most interesting sounding units in the ogre kingdoms roster all non-ogre? The ogres are just malicious oversized fat asses. I will take great pleasure in sacrificing them to Slanesh... ;)
I hope we get to play them in Total War: Warhammer 3
Last expansion we got tombkings and some other faction. Chaos dwarves and ogres are most likely next.
We will for sure
Well, we got Ogre Mercs for the final DLC for Total Warhammer 2
THEY’RE HEEEEERE!
This aged well

Would work dor me:)
Well, Ogre Mercs are a thing now in Total Warhammer 2
An army of hungry ogres would be fun to play in Total War: Warhammer.
For sure
You can hire Ogre Mercs now
This aged well
Yes, yes. Like submitted. Thank you Mr. Thick.
Don’t know if you’d ever do this for 40k armies but I’d be eternally grateful.😅

Pike and shot would be a great counter to ogres
They are here
Just saw the trailer this morning
Other than Mr. Greasus “Long Ass Full Name” Goldtooth, I don’t know what other Legendary Lords could be used.
Golgfag maneater, Skrag the Slaughterer, and as either a hero or a lord Bragg the Gutsman
See Nathan/The Great Book of Grudges channel for theory crafting

The ogres and the dawi zar both seem OP, I wonder how they will balance Kislev against them

*Oi slim! Shift yer starters an' we'll make breakfast!*
The only thing thicker than an ogre is Jumbo Thick!
i just love ur fantasy videos, pls fill all races out. its just fills the gap between the screen loads
Awesome content!
If a troll and an ogre bull had a fist fight to the death who would win?
Trolls regenerate sooo yeah....

Just saw the ogre Trailers
Hello TH-cam algorithm. Please be generous to a TH-camr I like.
man, we got gorgers but not yeti, how ironic
Ogre Mercs are in Total Warhammer right now. This should mean the Ogre Kingsoms are the most likely preorder
