The Ogres were the last WHFB army I collected before it all ended with the End Times. I still have a few Ogres in the shelves, most painted while some others are still in gray. I remember the first time I saw them on the tabletop on a GW store, I knew I wanted to collect at least some of those. I play Ogres on tabletop, mainly against a friend who plays Sylvaneth (treemen). Before every match I make sure to shout the battlecry "what's our diet?!?!? PLANT-BASED!!!
If the sylvaneth are elves you could have a victory feast of elf legs fried in horse blood, a delicacy among the ogre kingdoms. They happen to be a favorite of mine. I can't wait to put together my first ogre tribe.

Same here! As soon is I heard about them they became an instant favorite. Fun ogre fact- the only thing worse than an ogres horrible stare is its smile as it is their way of showing where they intend to send you.
Hey Choyer I'm a longtime fan of your channel. It's the best Warhammer channel on YT. The thing is the Lore playlist was getting a bit messy with lots of videos repeating themselves when different parts were combined and just being hard to follow in any kind of order. So I created a series of Playlists on my own channel for each race in the order I think suits it best. I only used the large videos too when multiple videos were later combined into one longer episode. So if anyone wants to watch about a specific race in order feel free to check em out. Thanks for all the great vids. - Just made an Ogre Playlist now.

I enjoy the ogres as a faction because of how their society works. You don’t see stuff like this very often. Most fantasy worlds just gloss over the fact that ogres exist or just make them monsters for the heroes to beat.

dont man eaters also sometimes have great swords of cathey? he giants have different rules then normal, due to being beaten into submission by the ogers. the cannons of the lead belchers are acquired from the chaos dwarfs. greasuses staff makes him one of the strongest things in the game when in combat (strength 10) why do I remember this info? No goddamn idea is a good video for newcomers to ogre lore though, good job.
Call me crazy but Adam R.? I feel I know this voice. Does he do motion comic work? I subscribe to The Russian Comic Book Geek and I swear it's him voicing some of the best videos on that channel. It's just that he's credited as Adam McLaughlin on that channel. If that's not him they both sound VERY similar.
See, if you can say there's a chaos corrupted Ogre clan, when Ogre's are normally resistant. You'd think there would be a clan of Nord's deep on the Chaos Waste that held out against Chaos. It'd be like Helms deep every dam day for them.
Actually, they're pretty chill with Cathay, or at least Greasus and his supplicants are. Greasus has established a trading partnership with Cathay, protecting cargo wagons from bandits in exchange for cash (which they use to purchase weapons and cooking utensils) and weaponry. It's why his tribe has access to firearms (and were taught how to use them), and several of the higher-ups, including Greasus himself, have been taught how to read.
GW needs to give you guys a job! Love the chan. Another note, wouldn't it be amazing if we could get a Warhammer movie franchise, or even TV series. But it would have to be as good as the Avengers franchise and stick to the 40k lore and detailed factions and characters.
They are mishapen/mutated Ogres that are thrown into the wilderness, out of the tribe. Some of them survive under extreme conditions and often end up in caves or hidden places.
I wonder what role female Ogres, or Ogresses, play in this society. Or what happens to a Gorger when he is not thrown into the caves like happens when an infant does not possess the mass of flesh and muscle it is supposed to have.
