Thanks for sharing. Very helpful video. In the past, I have converted BMW F800GS tubed rear wheels using Outex tubeless kit from Woody's. I will have to check with them.
Nice update Dragos, looked like the seal was pinched. Mine started to leak the 4th season. Just suddenly, maybe it was low on air over the winter and these holds up best to be under pressure. Let's see how long mine will hold up this time.
You're getting ready for the new riding season, Dragos. Pity about the leakage. But hey, you're ready now. Only the wetaher and salt... My Scooter & Transalp are perfect for the season, the Tuono 1100 V4 has finally got its inspection after 20 k. Will be expensive with MOT, valves and suspension, maybe new bearings for the rear wheel linkage. Cheers from Nürnberg, Günter
@@DragosRDS I'll ride my old Transalp 600 (on Heidenau Ranger), the others mostly GS 1200/1250 (Anakee Wild) and one Tenere 700, it seems. So my old lady is the lightest bike ;-)
@@enduromotorradtouren it was important for me to know because I need to think where we enter the Strategic road track. How would you describe the skill level of your buddies ?
@@DragosRDS Hi Dragos, skill level offroad 1-3 out of 5 = beginner to medium. If it's dry, our group of five is (naturally) more confident. In the mud we are less experienced. Anyway, three of us managed ACT Spain with only 2 spills, but we had mostly perfect weather. Cheers, Günter
@@enduromotorradtouren This info is very important, thank you. There are two ways to enter the track, one a little dificult but stunnig, one easy but less stunning 😂. But we will decide on the spot ! Boy oh boy, it will be awsome !
Hi there. First of all the red band is only there to protect the gasket against the spokes ends. Second the gasket is a very bad ktm ideea. With some permanent elastic sealant and about 30 min of work I managed to solve this issue, and I want to mention that my gasket didn't had any visible fault.
@Tobias25 I took it down and sealed the spokes. There are tons of videos on the youtube about it. Search wheel tubeless conversion. Fixed the problem for me.

Thank you Mattias. Good tip about the pressure, I will remember it !

Thank you for the comment. This week I will film the sealing of the wheel because I am done inflating every day the rear and the front wheel !
@@DragosRDS If you seal it, remove the gasket, it is dead/unsprung weight.
@@ERUtheWINDRIDER will do that !!! Thank you for the tip !
Hi, how did you solved it? Have the same issue and can see nothing on the gasket.

ai pus suspensie de la touratech pe mobra?
Salut. Nu, Ktech
@@DragosRDS cred că sunt aceeași, touratech face re-branding pentru Europa.
Ohhhhhh Dragos, it IS KTM's fault! They are use BS rubber gaskets to create tubeless wheels - the CHEAP method.....................
Eventually you are right, they could have adopted the solution with the spokes on the outside like the Touareg or the BMW.
No it is KTM's fault. This isn't rocket science. Other companies have perfect working systems.
