For me the most exciting motorcycles this year are the BMW and the KTM. One is just a prototype and the other a little closer to serial production. Oh boy ! What are you most excited about ?Leave a comment down below !
Man this bike seems fab. Looks good, has all the things id want in an adv bike, looks super calable on and off road, has great electronics and suspension package and fantastic ground clearance. Now we wait for the price and see if the suzuki come to india and if the new BMW is not too fqr, that also needs considering. Exciting time for this market!
as someone who rides it's 390 mostly off-road, I can confirm, this changes would make it a dream bike in the light - mid adventure category. hopefully the numbers that we don't know yet (weight and price) , are close to what we pray for.
I am stoked about it. I rode the CF450 and think it is a really nice bike and I always wanted the big guys to produce something like that. Now we have it. Let's see what it will bring to the table
Indeed it is a great time to be alive, very well said! I just hope the wet weight will not exceed 160-165Kg. Also curious of the weight of the Enduro version. Otherwise I might need to steer to the DR-Z if the prices are also comparable. I am not ruling out the Kove 450 Rally either.
@@dualsportrider6556 oh boy, I feel like a 5 years old. My eyes are shining ! A little dissapointed though with the lack of the 6th gear on the DRZ but I am glad they are back !
That’s how I felt yesterday, like a kid in the Christmas morning😂 You are right, and also the weight of the Suzuki is not negligible but at list better than Honda’s. This KTM reminds me of the 640 LC4 Adv, that back in the day stood at 158Kg dry, so it was always possible.
KTM: finally, at last. Has it all. Success depends on the price. BMW: unique, yes, but heavy and pricey (rumours say starting at 8,000 Euro). If I wanted a twin, there's the cheaper CF Moto. What about Suzuki's DRZ4? All the best, Dragos. Günter/Nürnberg
@@enduromotorradtouren Thank you Gunter. The DRZ. It looks nice, maybe it will have a good price but the deal breakers for me are the gas tank capacity (8L) and the missing 6th gear (again). For arround the house huliganism yes, the bike is nice. To make it a small proper adv you need to start adding. Is the KTM less than the BMW in terms of weight? The declared weight of the 450GS is arround 175 wet it was said.
@@DragosRDS Concerning the Suzuki DRZ4. For travelling your are right, Dragos: Tank range too small, 5 tight gears not ideal for covering motorway and tight technical terrain. With the BMW we wait and see. Could be less attractive than at first glance. It's getting wet and cold and foggy over here, typical for November. And in Romania? Happy days, Günter/Nürnberg
The rear shock also its positioning on the side, a bit weird on a off road bike. Since 23 the radiator reservoir its easy to fill and look on the 790/890. Very cool bike waiting to see it live, makes me think in a downgrade, but I have to test ride it first, don't want to regret latter.
@@MLeitao I have the same torment im my soul now 😀😀😀. What do I do ? On one hand I would like to give it a try because we do chalenging stuff here but I hope it won't be too small too soon 😀. BUT, if it can go steadily at 120 km on pavement, we have a winner. Also BMW pfff, nice and unexpected one with that 450. Great times to be a rider guys ! Thanks for the comment !
I am glad Suzuki finalky came to the light. A little dissapointed for lacking the 6th gear and for the 8 liters tank capacity. Other that, I agree, Suzuki is back !

@@DragosRDS I foresee a difficult choice between the Adventure R and Enduro :D
@ it's all about the type of riding. For me wind protection is important as I do a lot of adventure travel
KTM should hire you as a promoter :-) Once you buy one, and I'm sure you will, hope you share your thoughts!! Another great video!
Thank you ! We will see 😅
