- Women’s rights advocate Kellie-Jay Keen says she “feared for her life” after being attacked by trans activists during protests in New Zealand.
The campaigner was booed, heckled and covered in juice in a confrontation between her supporters and counter-protesters in Auckland.
TalkTV’s Julia Hartley-Brewer is joined by the Standing for Women founder who recounts the experience, which she calls “terrifying”.
Kellie tells Julia: “Every police officer agreed that I was lucky to be alive and I had to go into police protection until I got home…
“Now is the time for women to stand up and say ‘we won’t tolerate this'.”

If you don't want strange men violating your privacy, then will you do the courtesy of not exposing your privacy in public?

Constantly you see or hear of self-proclaimed transwomen behaving in aggressive, violent ways. Punching an old women, another attacking people with an axe, an adult man pretending to be a teenage girl fighting a cheerleader, then there was one who threatened to beat up Ben Shapiro on some talk show, prison rapes, outbursts over being misgendered, bathroom/changing room assaults, drag queens with a criminal record. There are so many examples of men pretending to be women being predatory and acting like they have roid rage.

I am a gay man. I know what it’s like to have my very existence questioned. I know what it’s like to have my capacity to love questioned. I know what it’s like to be rejected by society and have ‘people with concerns about the gays’ like Posie try to diminish my life or make me seem like a monster.
And the arguments are almost exactly the same. In the 90s and 2000s people were afraid that if boys were allowed to be gay, they would all turn gay. Or that if our daughters were allowed to be lesbians, they would all turn out to be lesbians.
It didn’t happen. None of it happened. Fear mongering just like what is happening now.
So I hope you can understand that when people were aghast at the gays, and lesbians, and bisexuals demanding with ferocity for equal marriage, equal rights, and equal protection… We look back at that and realize how stupid those opponents of gay rights were.
And that it was perfectly OK to let keep gay people and lesbians and bisexual be equal. Society didn’t collapse. And the hysterics from conservative pearl clutches were mostly theatrics.

As a man I am horrified that this is going on in the world today, the rhetoric from the Australian and New Zealand press was horrific, the inept police at these events was appalling, why did they not keep the two parties separated? It’s really about time that the world realises what is going on and how counter productive this insanity is, our youth and children are being dragged into this as well and they are vulnerable and naive, it’s really about time legislation was brought in to combat this. I'm a New Zealander and I'm disgusted by what happened too, we have to stand up for our kids, our girls, especially now that this crap is being taught in schools. My daughter at 9 had decided she'd wanted to be a boy, apparently being a Tom boy, not wanting to wear dresses etc means you should of been a boy, she ended up menstruating early...another reason why she wants to be a boy but thankfully by 12 she realised that it's just part of puberty and messed up hormones that we all go through ...too many kids are getting brainwashed. I am a woman, a woman who had babies, a woman who breast fed and a woman who has a womb and has a menstrual cycle, and unfortunately I am also a woman going through the pre-menopause. I have female chromosomes and I am sad that my daughters are growing up in a world that is so confused, a world who is so pushy with their views, and so aggressive with people who differ from their opinions and cannot debate but shout down any conversation or act with violence. Look how scared this movement has made everyone that people are scared to admit what a woman is and so protect them, even the police who should be there to protect are stepping back.
