point 9: scheduling next step is a big issue for me. whenever I ask the client about scheduling a next step, their most common answer is: leave it with me and I will get back to you, or get back to you when I want to find out more

I am working as a consultant, and it is a very difficult job for beginners. Hang-ups, swears, "not interested"s and so on. Never try to imagine so high before you are getting in job. You will realize where is a imagination, and where is a reality.

Think in terms of "introductory Calls" rather than Cold Calls

    Marc,
Can you please do a video about texting your prospects? What is your view about texting as also part of the prospecting process to create a next step? Some prospects receive their texts sooner and quicker than an email or voicemail.

On point 9, scheduling a next step, would handing them your card count? And saying something like, "here's my card, when you're ready for the next step, give me a call and I'd love to talk with you!" Does that count as a next step?

But what about when I can hurt my clients verbally and emotionally without direct intention? Can I still be in sale?
