Nice. I’m happy to see you took the jump into TH-cam. You have the eye for it. Those driving shots I typically hold my camera out the window so I don’t have to worry about dirt or reflections messing up the shot.
Thank you so much for this video! I have personally not been camping since I was like 9 I am 42 now. Hubby has been lots is his younger days. This was the campsite I was looking at. It’s just us this year at Christmas and this is the place we want to spend it. I also thought of “pussing out” and staying at one I found called Chihuahua hot springs but it’s like $150 a night but it does have electric and heat and beds. I think we’d spend about the same amount of money getting all the gear we would need to primitive camp. He has a 4WD jeep with a lift kit and big tires so I think we’d be okay getting there.
Christmas would be an amazing time to be out there! Y'all should be just fine in your Jeep. There are a couple of sketchy places but my friend's 4Runner made it fine with stock tires. As far as gear/supplies goes, you will need all the water that you can fit in your car. All the food you can take too, as there is not grocery store within an hour or two drive from Chorro Vista. There also aren't any toilets so you'll need to take a trowel at the very least. Happy to try and help with any gear questions if you have any. The only thing I'd recommend is a satellite phone or device where you can contact or message people if you're in trouble. You're really far out there and won't have cell service. Sat phones are pretty expensive though, and I actually don't have one myself (but I plan on buying one!) Hope y'all have fun!
Big Bend Ranch is rugged and beautiful.
It really is. The ruggedness and remoteness add to the beauty.
@@jonathancoleman5647 totally!

Yeah, that’s a good call. Thanks again for the push 🙏
