Hi . I have the strobe option , I have to press the hi/low headlight button x3 quickly and the lights strobe but only for about 2-3 seconds then you have to press the button again for more strobing .
My D3’s I believe are the only Denali lights that are road legal according to the blurb . Don’t forget that there will be folk who go off road who certainly don’t want to fork out £300 + on lights and folk who even with an expensive bike will go “ can get them cheaper from China ! “ choices choices 🤪
Hi Paul, been watching a few of your videos to do similar mods of my own. Can I ask where you got your brackets to fit to crash bars? I have a set but not happy with them as with the bars not really having a straight line, the lights are always slightly off. Cheers
yes. I had them on my bmwr1250gs, and they worked very well . build quality to me seemed good too. as I already had expensive Denali lights fitted I had to remove them to install the colight units. after a while I removed the colights and put the denalis back on. not because they were better , but just because they cost me lots of money !! the colights will now be fitted to a friends bmw f800 gs for him to enjoy. 😊
How much was the ez cam? Im trying to find it but its like £250+ im sure in video you said it was just ever £100? Correct me if im wrong. Is it the same one for a 1200 and 1250? I need one for 1250 if so. Thanks 😊
No I took them off. Not because of quality or anything like that, but simply because I had spent a small fortune getting the Denali lights way before Colight asked me to look at them. my brother in law has a Gs 850 and we will be fitting them to that soon. for the price they are bloody good .
Good morning . Yes . I purchased some cables from Denali and didn’t use the ones supplied . Increases the cost but the lights were ridiculously cheap and this way you get to set the brightness etc via the HexEzcan . One subscriber said the lights were temporarily out of stock incase it tells you they are not available .
The link is in the description section. I didn't use the relay and switch Colight sent me because it just all a bit too big and chunky. I used their cabling but just cut it to length and attached those plugs onto each end and then those plugs connected into the y shaped cable which then went into the ezcan.
Hi. I don't know too much about other bikes tbh. Simplest way is to use an accessory manager like the Hexezcan, if they do one for your bike? Failing that, then a ready made wiring harness is needed , but the Colight one that I was sent for the HD spotlight, didn''t have what I would say is a proper motorcycle on/off handlebar switch more of a panel mounted switch and I didn't want t cut holes in my bikes bodywork, but you could easily source one from the internet for about £10 and simply replace the switch. Colight do other lights , with dual beam function and they do a handlebar mounted motorcycle switch in this kit, but I only wanted the spotlights , which are very good and I simply connected them as per the video.
@@Bikingcritter Hi. Yes having looked at them I would say yes, obviously best to use the other wires horn, high beam etc to get the most out of it and to allow them to be turned off when the ignition is off.
Not sure why you need all these ancillary lights, especially on a little island!! and of course BMW don't recognise the Hex ezcam, so any probs with your electrical system isn't covered by any warranty!
You get what you pay for. The last thing I'm going to wire into my bike's electrical system is a Chinese knockoff electrical component of questionable quality. Maybe put them on my Gator but certainly not my R12GSA.
Hi Alex , appreciate all comments , that’s the benefit of these channels etc . With the hex ezcan as the fuse it’s simply much safer to power any electrical item and do away with relays etc and lots of cabling . Ride safe and thanks for your input 👍
I think that this video shows a bit of bias. The camera setting makes them look far brighter than they would be in real life (your video with the D3s was far more realistic). They certainly look to be good value but if people buy them based on your video I would suggest they are going to be disappointed.
Hi Geoff appreciate the comments but put simply those lights are very bright and just a bit lower in the lumen stakes than the D3’s but not by much . There will be folk who will scoff at the price of £300 + for a top end set of lights but will happily pay £66 . I have done other videos we’re people say could have got it cheaper from China , well that’s the reason I’ve done the video. I don’t think they would be disappointed , certainly not for £66 . Have a great weekend and ride safe 👍
These lights are cheap and dont last 2 minutes, rode through the 1 st lot of rain in Italy and both sets filled with water and blew the fuse, now Co light are trying every twist and turn to get out of replacing the lights... terrible service terrible lights DONT BUY THEM

Cheers
Hi. Sorry fro the delayed reply. They are from Denali

@gsd32i thank you. Its also just came to my attention today as well that the 2 cylinder heads are offset. Affects my ocd 😂
@@andrewmcqueen6386 hahaha..once you see it you'll never unsee it 👍
Hi, are you satisfied with these lamps? Do they work without any problems?
Thanks 😊
hi, they are about £180 now for the 1250 .
@@gsd32ihow much for 1200 GS , 2014?
Do you still have these fitted and how are they holding up and performing?
Thanks
No I took them off. Not because of quality or anything like that, but simply because I had spent a small fortune getting the Denali lights way before Colight asked me to look at them. my brother in law has a Gs 850 and we will be fitting them to that soon. for the price they are bloody good .
@@gsd32i Nice one. I may well get some for the hell of it and the price.
@@Simon-fm8yc 👍
Hi so is this basically plug and play if you have ezcan? Planing to buy this for my s1000xr
@@gsd32i would you be able to put the link or the part number of the wire you bought from denali ?
The link is in the description section. I didn't use the relay and switch Colight sent me because it just all a bit too big and chunky. I used their cabling but just cut it to length and attached those plugs onto each end and then those plugs connected into the y shaped cable which then went into the ezcan.
Any ideas What i would need to fit to a 14 plate tiger ?
@@gsd32i could a Denali dialdim power these ?
@@Bikingcritter Hi. Yes having looked at them I would say yes, obviously best to use the other wires horn, high beam etc to get the most out of it and to allow them to be turned off when the ignition is off.
@@gsd32i how long was postage
@@Bikingcritter I think it took about 4 days.
Was any import tax and vat payable?
No, not for me but as always best to check first.
What web site has uk prices.
Hi Rowland, click on the link in the description 👍
Great video. Now let’s refit the Denali D3s 😂
It was a tough call Clive. 😂 Looks like they'll be fitted to a friends f800gs instead once he's got the Hex EzCan 👍
Not sure why you need all these ancillary lights, especially on a little island!! and of course BMW don't recognise the Hex ezcam, so any probs with your electrical system isn't covered by any warranty!
Dude, one does go away from time to time 😂. Well let's hope the hex ezcan does its job properly then. Have a wonderful weekend 🤪
You get what you pay for. The last thing I'm going to wire into my bike's electrical system is a Chinese knockoff electrical component of questionable quality. Maybe put them on my Gator but certainly not my R12GSA.
Do you think there is any possibility of them doing any damage to the electrical system?
@@nickkaratatis3780 Not my bike cause they'll never come near it. There is a good point below about TUV.
Hi Alex , appreciate all comments , that’s the benefit of these channels etc . With the hex ezcan as the fuse it’s simply much safer to power any electrical item and do away with relays etc and lots of cabling . Ride safe and thanks for your input 👍
All that waffle and no vision of the lights at night ....
These lights are cheap and dont last 2 minutes, rode through the 1 st lot of rain in Italy and both sets filled with water and blew the fuse, now Co light are trying every twist and turn to get out of replacing the lights... terrible service terrible lights DONT BUY THEM
Andy, sorry to hear about the lights failing. I am about to fit them on my brothers F800 so will be interesting to see if he has issues. I hope Colight do something for you and eventually replace them.🤞
I think they would be a better suit for a Harley not a BMW. Sorry
Thanks for watching . 👍
Useless.
Try them 👍
@@gsd32i I was driiving once on 1250 with original aux lights and led headlight for about 500km in complete darkness. Not once wished for more light. Just adjusted aux lights much higher to cover turns. My point is - there are mandatory upgrades to LC GS like headlight, cylinder head, dash protection, radiators protection and anything to stop rear tire throwing water to rider's ass. :) And there are tons of useless parts. So easy to drawn in them.
@@SAMFICOM well I am more than happy with all the things I have put on my GS . Everyone one is individual and what may be useless to some may be of benefit to others . Anyway enjoy the ride . 👍
