Thank you very much for the tuto, simple and straight to the point ! One question, simulation (ex from frame 1 to frame 240) are not rendered to Karma (pyro or your sim), frame by frame it works but not if a played the simulation. Thank you very much if you could help or have an idea to fix it ^^
Probably i found an answer, it's not possible to play directly with karma xpu in Houdini, upload is required to play it in .exr format and play in AE or other stuff like that. (I share it in case of other nood like me see this comment ^^)
@marlenehaz590 Hi yes, because karma is not a realtime renderer like unreal engine for example it cannot playback your animation in real time while rendering. These render engines are called "offline render engines" and can usually achieve more complex results and allow for more customization than the realtime ones. I hope this helps, thanks for your comment 😊
@marlenehaz590 ideally you would export a frame sequence (lots of frames) and then in a software like premiere when importing you can tick the "image sequence" toggle and it will import it effectively as if it was a video. Let me know if you have any other questions, I am here to help...😊
Hi! Very nice tutioral, although I am kind lost on the Attribute blur, it seems to work but for some reason I still see all(?) the other hair not changing into this web, any aide why?
@@nodeflowhoudini Hey Thanks for your help offer, but I've just reopened houdini and it "magically" started to work properly. I've changed literally nothing. I am just starting to learn this soft, but it seems to do it quite often.
When I import the scene it only shows me straight lines that don't move, I've already checked all the steps and I can't find what the problem could be.
@@nodeflowhoudini I changed the SOP Import Mode from default to display in the "sceneimportall" node and it worked for me, I guess it's not the correct mode, but it worked for me
@IamJeshua oh, well to know exactly what happened I would need the .hip but the Scene import all, it's perfectly fine too. In that case is important to flag/visualize the node you want to import in Solaris, as the Scene import all, will import based on your last flagged/selected node. Hope this helps!
Hey, I've got a problem - at th-cam.com/video/Rd8f3Ek5tLI/w-d-xo.html attriblur blurs only connections between lines - at your video - all splines are blurred :(
Is there a way to export this using Houdini Apprentice into Blender? Also, the scene import all doesn't seem to work for me, either that or I don't know how to import it into the scene graph path
great tutorial. Hope for more! Thanks

Heyyy, thank you so much, can you please check if you unchecked the "Pin border points" toggle.
Take a look to minute 5:00
Please let me know if that worked 🔝
@@nodeflowhoudini Yes I unchecked "Pin Border Points". But that doesn't seem to be the root of the problem. It changes nothing.
@Teheiron Hi, it is very hard to understand your ploblem without the hip file. You can send it here and I will take a look: marioleone777@gmail.com

Hi there, have you tried moving the timeline to another frame, rather than the first one? Let me know...❤️

@@nodeflowhoudini hey, thanks for a quick respond - I follow every step as shown in your video. I record quick screen capture of my problem :)
@saltacme hey, please check better, maybe you lost a step before, did you uncheck the "pin border points" option?
