Audeze Maxwell Review - This Gaming Headset is Everything I Wanted

- Audeze Maxwell is one of the most requested wireless gaming headsets and it ROCKS! I mean wow... forget wired headphones, Maxwell does literally everything. Including a neck workout because of the weight. After 30 days, it's definitely one of my new favorites, but not without a few annoying bugs.

I've owned TB, Razer, Steel Series, Astro gaming headsets priced $150-300, and other headsets priced $500+ for music. The Audeze Maxwell is incredible. They're basically the perfect blend with little compromise. The 80hr battery life is INSANE - who needs two batteries (Steel Series) when a single charge overnight will probably last all week. Wicked Cushions are a must though - b/c the stock pads are too shallow.
Quality issues for a 300 bucks headset is what brings it down. Otherwise I would buy it
Mic sounds bleh, but not too far off the nova pro wireless, the rest tho, pretty nice.
agreed
Also agree, don't understand why it's so hard to get a half decent mic on BT headphones, it's the one thing putting me off upgrading from wired.
@@ellismccoybecause there is limited bandwidth in a wireless connection. You either have to sacrifice on mic quality or sacrifice on sound quality.
It’s just the limit of the current tech.
@@cha0ss0ldier-4 Didn't know this, shame! Thought it was a build quality issue rather than bandwidth.
Thanks for the info!
@@cha0ss0ldier-4 That can be fixed by using a faster codec for bluetooth. You just need to spend extra to have a system/phone and headset that supports them. Using an older bluetooth standard is also a no no.
What people don't realise is how important these headphones are. They punch way above their weight. At 300 these are the best wireless headphones hands down. I retired 3 headphones from my desk coz of these; a 6XX, DT770 and a 58X. Only these and an HD800 remain on my desk now. I even use these on the couch for late night movies. It is not an exaggeration. These are the best gaming headsets right now, the fact that they are wireless is just icing on the cake.
I retired my music headphones and my gaming headphones with these.
Shit, I've been rocking HD 650s for years now. This might be something worth considering.
do you know austrian audio brand and their versions
there's certainly the quality but the most insane thing about this is I charge it once every 7 days! I had a Steelseries but I was put off with how much software and setup it had and at first sounded robotic. With Audeze, I plugged it and played and with the software, I can play with EQ.
Great review. My ancient gaming headset finally died so I started looking for a replacement and these Audeze Maxwell headsets have gotten an insane amount of positive reviews: it was a no-brainer. I'll have them next week, hope they don't actually suck.
How was the QC? Mine was pretty sheet. Every pair had some cosmetic defects, one even had the cable routed to the left ear speaker - come down and tug between the earcups. I was soo afraid to cut the cable because of that like a scissor!
Me and a friend both had to return this headset because of various reasons. Definitely didn't feel like a headset from a well reputed company sadly.
I wanted to love the Maxwell's so badly. But I just couldn't get past their weight, I have never worn a heavier headset in my life before 🤕
what exactly you didnt like about? im also considering for multi use
Yes please say
@@ggcub25 late to the party...
But the clamping force and weight on the top of my head gave me headaches and made me want to take the headset off after a few minutes.
Bluetooth had some crackling and skipping in the audio. Don't know if that has been remedied by firmware updates.
But the sound was so amazing I'm actually thinking about giving them another chance when they are discounted.
Tried the wicked cushions but the only introduced more clamping.
Hope they'll get a little loose and not clamp as much after some weeks of use.
EDIT: Found them soon after this post at a nice discount.
I've loved them since.
Bought the Wicked Cushions again and a ZMF Co-pilot headband. The comfortability and audio is great. I seem to remember the audio being better the first time around (with the Xbox version) than now (PS). Tried with Dolby Atmos on my PC, and it's still not the same.
But tuning the EQ and getting the WC earpads helped a lot!
@@bobwood4304replied above
I love Audeze headphones, for their sound quality. I hate Audeze headphones, for their build quality. They deteriorate fast. I've seen some break in half, some with wiring issues, and my most recent (but replaced) pair, has rattling/creaking issues. I've never had an expensive pair of headphones, feel so cheap.
Which headphones did you have problems with? So far, my pair is ok. Only the peeling issue with the headband (so far).
-D.
I literally placed an order when all the build issues started to come up, them breaking again st the hinges just likes previous Audezes. I decided to cancel the order, and got Turtle Beach Stealth Pros instead and I think I've made a very good choice, especially because apparently the equalizer and app in general is super buggy in these headphones.
@@HardwareCanucks The only "gaming" pair of Audeze headphones I've owned are the Penrose. I've also owned one of their older LCD models (I forget which). I have also used the more modern LCD... somethings. All of them have encountered various issues.
Wat? I had around 5 different Audeze headphones and all of them were built like a tank. I know Penrose had headband issues, but never own one myself. LCD line is nearly indestructible even in the harsh audio production use.
P.S. Also Audeze LCD-MX2/MX3 do not exist.
Hardware Canucks, you guys really need to be weary of the Maxwell. Look up on the forums.
I've had to return my Maxwell TWICE and there are people who have returned it more than 3 times in a row. The earcups die and it is just during normal usage.
This is unacceptable from Audeze. Great sound, incredibly bad engineering and QC.
Ik heb ze nu 6 maanden nooit problemen gehad batterij geluid bediening EQ connectie afstand van transmitter 15 meter echt geweldig
I had the same feedback issue on mine, it's loud and horrible. I turned sidetone off, and it went away.
I think im one of the few people that doesn't really like wicked cushions. They are heavy, the fabric that touches your skin is scratchy and just not comfortable. They also heat up really fast and end up making the headset hotter than what the stock pads did. I also think 90% of their designs are ugly as sin 😅
However the maxwell is great 👍 so is the nova pro though
Great review, thanks. But i did not find here detailed info about spatial sound experience. Does this headset support some kind of virtual surround in any Games? Or does surround work only with Atmos supporting games and just in Stereo mode in all others? For example Logitech Pro X has DTS:X virtual surround, and works absolutely with any games, movies as well. There are quite a few games with native Atmos support. Also, Cant find info on how many surround channels it supports - 7.1, 9.1. Would be great to clarify it. Thanks!
Sorry for late answer but the Maxwell's are stereo headphones. Well, almost every gamingheadset out there are stereo headsets acctually. It is due to the software you can get 7.1 surroundsound in them. Very rare that gamingheadsets are native 7.1 surroundsound that's because they would get very heavy to wear. I tested my Razer Blackshark V2 PRO with both Dolby Atmos and the THX 7.1 surround and yeah, the THX that these was built for gives a little bit more clarity to the surround, but Dolby Atmos wasn't far behind at all.
Audeze Maxwell however are built for Dolby Atmos so these will be more accurate with the surround than the Razwer Blackshark V2 PRO for example. Everything will work with all games. Just that some games will work better because they are configured to the absolute perfection to follow the software that gives the surroundsound.
Then you shall know that Dolby Atmos are developed to work with ALL headsets with stereo and ain't locked to a specific software like many of these gamingheadsets are. As I mentioned, sure it say 7.1 on another headsets but they often ain't 7.1 native. It is the software that gives them the 7.1 surroundsound. They made some with native 7.1 as I said, they where damn expensive and very heavy to use and it was complicated asf to make the speakers to work properly as a true 7.1 surroundsystem in the headset because of the limited space to build it in. So this native surroundsystem in gamingheadsets etcetera was scrapped. Instead it was better to get bloody darn good stereospeakers with a bloody darn good software that mimics 5.1, 7.1, 9.1, one billion point 1 or whatever. It was more cheap, less weight and the troubles with setting each speaker so it sounded perfect as a native 7.1 disappeared.
I wanted to buy these but there are sOOOOOOOOOOO many complaints about build quality, customer service and just not having nice warranty/ fulfilling replacements.
If you are using these regularly still, how are they holding up? Are you getting the crinkle yet? Is there an unbalance in the two ears? Anything else you'd say about them?
thanks
Got mine since August 2023, 0 quality issues whatsoever with me.
Had mine for 4 months, suddenly the right side completely died on me. Was watching netflix at my desk, not looking around or anything, and it just stopped.
@@stevenbillz9880 you tried talking with support yet?
The TT case ad looks good 👍
Wish they added noise cancelling to these, big wasted opportunity, would have been perfect! Going to be getting the Sony WH-1000XM5 next month.
They insulate so well that it's not really needed tbh. Compared to my bose qc35 2 the maxwell does a better jobb of keeping outside sound out.
Bro that feedback is from the built in mic picking up the speakers that’s why it only
Happens when you take them off and set them down. And it only happens if you are using the built in mic or if you stock the boom mic into the earcup. lol You don’t need to reset it just turn it down.
Would you choose these or the Astro A50x for mostly single player games?
Me watching this on the Maxwells and go like: "uuuh" every time the voice prompts in the videos plays :p i love this headset too. been using it for a few months. Instead of going for the wicked cushions, ive slapped a pair of brainwavz XL round perforated pads on them, and am quite happy with how they sound and feel. Great review as always!
One thing to note: it still does NOT work with Xiaomi smartphones. Its been a known bug since i bought it but its still not fixed. While the headset connects to the phone no problem, the app cant see the headphones for whatever reason. I hope its fixed eventually but im not hopeful. its been a thing for at least 6 months at this point.
Mine gets here in a few days. So hyped
Are you satisfied?
@@OlavJ Yes. audio quality is fantastic. Im not a huge audiophile, but the EQ works fine for what i like. battery life is not an issue a little heavy though. the leather strap isnt great. it may just be a me thing but it hurts my head on the very top because of the way it sits. i know there are thing you can buy to replace it like with a silicon strap or something. the cushions are good at isolating noise, but get a little hot and sweaty. These can also be replaced with something like the wicked cushions for more breathability and cooling, but may impact the isolation a bit. the rules on simultaneous audio are a little annoying sometimes, but i have no reference for other headphones with simultaneous audio.
best Tl;dr I can give, is that I get angry when I have to listen to music or something with a different headphone/audio source
Why do you get angry when you listen to another headphone/audio source?
Maybe I missed it, but this headset comes in different version, PC-XBOX or PC-Playstation. I don't recall you speaking about that. Which should you choose and why?
Same headsets just a different dongle. The USB-C dongle has a switch (PC & PS5 or PC & XBOX).
-D.
If you are on PC get the more expensive xbox ones for spatial audio.
I have this headset and it’s just about perfect, no noise artifacts like those you noticed, none at all. The sound is amazing, the microphone likewise (odd that you usually focus so much on microphones but didn’t this time, compare it to Steelseries and will see how crap Steelseries mikes are).it seems you came late to the game and tried to do it differently, but highlighting a sound artifact that you’re the only one getting without any further investigation seems like lack of professionalism to me. The only problem I have with the Maxwell is with the PC software that doesn’t allow me to set custom profiles, it disconnects the dongle every time I try. But since I can do that through my phone app, it kinda solves the problem. Though Audeze will have to address this problem sooner or later. Summing up: there’s no other wireless gaming headset that can even compare to the Maxwell.
Is this kind of headset good for people gaming on xbox? as in is it reasonably easy to use? Watched a bunch of reviews, looking for the perfect headset and these are really helpful.
I've been using the Arctis Pro wireless for maybe 5 years now. I want only the best wireless headset I can get, so naturally i'd find my way here. For anyone that had the Arctis Pro Wireless, how does thie headset compare?
They feel heavy af on my neck .. and I got strong neck
@@3rdEyeBarber Wow that's good to know. I'd still like to try these lol
@@3rdEyeBarber I got to finally try the Audeze Maxwell... I'm returning them. I can't stand the fact that it takes over 15 seconds to connect to the wireless dongle each time I turn it on. Also, the wireless range is dogshit compared to the Arctis Pro Wireless. I think I'm going to stick to my Arctis Pro Wireless for several more years.
For some reason, I'm not feeling the bass on my pair.
I've got the Arctis Nova 7, TB Stealth 700 Gen 2's and a Beats Wireless headset, I retired all 3 of them for this headset. The audio quality on these are ridiculous both for gaming and audio
i've been using these for about a month or so on my PC and Xbox and i absolutely love them.
maxwell or ananda? both like 300£ plz tell me the best gaming sound qualitty,i keep trying both of em and idk,i can t feel the diff, what s better?
This is gonna be a noob question and most of you will be thinking these can't be compared, but I was seriously considering the Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee until I started seeing reviews for these. As far as sound goes, are these better?
can i connect this headset directly to the ps5 with the GO blu by iFi to the usb-c port to increase the quality and have lossless audio?
I'm listening to you right now using these headphones and the Bluetooth delay if unforgivable, it's painfully latent. Which is ironic because these are advertised as "low-latency." They aren't, they're anti-low-latency; what I'm saying is the latency with Bluetooth sucks. Even worse Audeze knows about this and instead of fixing it they literally put out a press release saying we shouldn't believe our lying eyes and ears; also there aren't any sounds coming from the attic late at night. Very, very disappointed with these and shocked at how many "reviewers" let them get away with the horrific BT latency.
Great video! Do you use the foot steps preset on the audeze app for cs2? Thanks
what other high end pc gaming headset can you recommend?
I would want to know if the hinges connecting the earpieces are metal or plastic junk.
I have been dissapointed twice by headphones that are considered premium 300$+ only for the plastic frame to start to crack after only a few years.
If its not metal i just consider it junk at this point. No reason a good pair of headphones should not last 5-10 years.
Wish they were properly open-back. I don't need the sound isolation and actively want to not have it. Maybe some day.
I guess Audeze MM100 is your choice then - same drivers but wired and open-back :D Honestly speaking there is not much demand for wireless open-back headphones, as you cannot listen open-backs on the go, and using cable at home is not a big deal.
That weight though... that is crazy and definitely not good for long hours of use.
does RGB work while using bluetooth? can it be controlled or is it static white or with pallet of colors or what was previously set up by iCUE on PC?
So for PC exclusively do i get the PlayStation or xbox version?
The Xbox version comes with Dolby Atmos and I think the 30$ extra is for that reason, so if a specific game supports it will automaticaly change to use the Dolby Atmos. The PS5 version also have the PC mode in the adapter so both will work and costs 30$ less so if you don't care about Dolby Atmos go for it. Aparently the Xbox version also works on the PS5 in PC mode but without support for the Tempest 3D which is a spacial audio tecnology exclusive to PS5.
@@M4RC0Geek I grabbed the Xbox version 4 months ago. Thank you for the info though.
VZR Model one is way better the Maxwell you can pick up more stuff but it's drivers are twangy for some games.
I’m buying that
I was waiting for you to do a review on the Maxwell and was tossing up between these and the Nova Pro Wireless. I couldn't wait any longer and ended up going with the Steelseries. Now you decide to do your review? Come on man!
European bus seat design headphones.
damn the mic is horrible
I neg, Open Back Wireless headset
"80 hours of battery life is decent" come on thats more than decent lol
read the fine print of their warranty
For expensive hardware you guys should do a 1 year later review.
Im happy to see that gaming headsets are starting to focus more on audio as well since most of the time a dedicated pair of headphones is superior. Im no audiophile so it makes no significant difference to me but I can understand other people's excitement
I wouldn't say gaming headsets are generally started to focus more on audio quality, it's just Audeze being audiophile company at first place know how headphones should sound. I am and audiophile, and Maxwell is pretty aggressively priced even comparing to a good quality headphones. No wonder Sony has bought them recently.
@@snowmean1 I would like to know how the sound quality of these headphones compares to more mainstream headphones like the Apple Airpods Max and the Sony XM5. Do you have any idea, maybe you have tested them or used them as you are an audiophile. I would like to know.
@@scale...3dfrequency response of those headphones are available online, you could compare them yourself.
cuck u dont even know what to look for in headphones or headsets. Sennheiser been doing it for years
@@scale...3d they sound better than most and eq really well thanks to being planars which is handy. certainly better than anything else with bluetooth at 350 bucks except for weirdos like the kef mu7 maybe.
For those that miss the memo Audeze just got bought by the PlayStation division of Sony, but is being allowed to continue operating as they were in the Headphone space. I would expect to see an official PlayStation version of these before too long
you called it with the pulse elite
11:05 80 hours is decent? That's world class honestly.
Not when the Cloud Alphas do 300+ lol.
@@shonole Ya but the Alphas are trash compared to these from a sound stage standpoint.
@@Boltbacker83 No doubt, but 300+ is insane.
Haha, was about to type same thing 😂
@@shonole If you watch Z reviews video on Sony is buying Audeze get goes over EXACTLY why the maxwells are worth the money. Plus I personally want the headphones before the sony suits take over. Don't get me wrong I have a pair of WF-1000XM5s and WH-1000XM5s, so I'm not worried too much. The PS and xbox versions of the maxwells are different.
Had mine for a couple of months, the battery life is ridiculous and sound quality is amazing.
Planning to get one soon, any other interesting personal experience with it?
@@JehushMahadeodid you get it? And if so how’s the mic quality
@@jaaayyymannn Did not get it. Realised better audio won't save my dogsht skills
Wow that built-in mic with no noise filter sounded so awful 😅
I mean most “gaming” wireless headsets have mediocre or downright bad audio quality with a mediocre mic, so if this thing can actually have good sound quality it’s still ahead in my books
Oh the boom mic was pretty good, I just meant the other one sounded awful, like definitely worse than most gaming headset mics. Which is ok I guess, it's only as a backup for when traveling & you don't want the boom mic making you look like a dweeb. It's just a shame it makes D sound like he's got a horrendously strong lisp!
How is build quality good when you point out like 2 things falling appart right after that?
They have a high class build quality. Sometimes things like peels can happen but if you want to see terrible build quality, look at the cheaper HifiMan headphones.
The built in mic made you sound like you were talking with a lisp. And I have a pair of planar earbuds that can sometimes get humm with my head in a certain position in a specific seat, I think planar are prone to picking up EM frequencies
Planar drivers emit EM since thats how they make sound. But it's possible that they emit more em than dynamic drivers since planar diaphrams tend to be bigger
When the only complaints are where the buttons are located and the UX. I consider those a non-issue so this really is the best headset at the moment.
I’ve tried this headset and I have to disagree about the imaging. You said imaging is great, but I tried this headset extensively and imaging is good at best, but not great. There are many other headsets out there that are miles better at imaging. Yes the overall sound quality is amazing and probably the best headset for that, but to me they’re more aiming at music listening for that and not gaming. It just happens to have very well tuned planar magnetic drivers that suits most games as well as music, but as someone who mostly plays FPS games, imaging is definitely not something I’d buy this headset for
Well tuned SteelSeries Nova 7 is not far off in sound quality in games and it has great imaging and it’s literally half the price of the Audeze Maxwell
The Nova Pro wireless feels more distant for sure, but the level of resolution you get with the Maxwell is just nuts tho.
-D.
@@HardwareCanucks Oh yeah the resolution on the Maxwell is top tier, but for gaming do you really need top tier resolution? In my opinion as long as a headset has pleasant and good sound for gaming and great imaging, it’s definitely worth a go, but for pure resolution I have high end studio headphones for that
Either way, overall it is a high end gaming headset, depending on use case
Keep up the great work my man. I love your energy in the videos 😎
I have this headset, have had it for a few months now. I love it. I can and have worn it all day without issue, and the sound and battery life is just great. A perfect headset for me.
Any other interesting observation? I'm planning to get one as someone who value great mic and sound
As someone who has been using the Arctis Pro Wireless for several years, I thought it was time to upgrade and I came to the Audeze Maxwell. I gave it a try, and after 3 days, I will be returning them. The Maxwell headset had this annoying thing where it took 15 seconds to connect to my PC each and every time I turned it on. And secondly, I felt that this headset wasn't even much of an audio improvement over the Arctis Pro Wireless. Third, the wireless range on the Maxwell is absolutely horrible. With the Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless, I can walk halfway across my house before my headset loses signal, and upon returning back to my PC, it will automatically connect back to give me audio. With the Audeze Maxwell, one I leave my room, the headset already loses signal and then disconnects from my PC, which is annoying because reconnecting it will take another 15 seconds after I turn it off and back on.
that sound coming from headphone at 2:07 is caused by side tone. when place the headphone on the external mic it keeps repeating the audio received constantly and becomes high pitched . hope this helps
he said that idiot
Absolutely atrocious microphone(s). The whole reason to get a high-end headset is to get a _very_ good microphone, otherwise you could just buy a pair of headphones. Doesn't matter how good the sound is overall when the primary feature is horribly implemented.
I wish more reviewers would actually prioritize what matters most regarding headsets.
I often have connection issues with the wireless dongle on this device.
Amazing piece of gear, but too expensive. 400-500€ (in some places even more) in EU is a big NO.
I recently moved from the Hyperx Orbit (basically a rebadged Mobuis) to the Maxwell due to the bad build quality of the orbit/mobuis which is the worst that I've seen so far in the headphone world (and I have owned and tried to ALOT of headphones, both HIFI and gaming). With that said, I honestly think that out of the box the Orbit/mobuis in terms of tonality and bass performance sounds much better than the maxwell while the maxwell is much more detailed but very lean in the bass region, bright and a bit fatiguing IMO.
So, I have been playing with the EQ in the audeze software for a while now attempting to make it sound rounder, warmer with punchier bass and I'm liking the results so far.
Here is the EQ settings I'm using right now for both music/gaming which I recommend for everyone to give it a try :
32hz: -1db
64hz: 6db
125hz: 2db (or 1db)
250hz: -3db
500hz: -5db
1Khz: -2hz
2Khz: -2hz
4Khz: -3hz
8Khz: -5hz
16Khz: from -6db to -9 (your taste)
What happens if you position the microphone arm's capsule farther away from the mouth? Will you get less of a proximity effect? I wanted a microphone that sounded like a studio condenser microphone, but microphones that attach to the boom arm or stand alone on top of the desk are stationary and I need to be able to move my head and body around from time to time.
And of course, I could see myself using this headset for making/receiving phone calls, so having Bluetooth is great to have. The only limitation is I won't be able to use my studio equipment that uses XML for going from my hardware preamp, to expander/compressor/limiter, to my audio interface. I currently have a Samson SR860 headphone and Movo LV8-D omni-directional lavalier microphone.
Starlord?!!!
0:06 When I heard that sound, I thought my Maxwell headphones were being turned on. lol
Sony has recently bough Audeze, so I guess we will see dramatic Playstation headset improvements soon with Audeze drivers/tuning and Sony approach to UX.
9:11 - Happened to me within 2 weeks of owning them. Just turned on the headset and joined Discord with 7 Friends already talking and for some reason the headset set the volume at 100 instead of the 24 I always keep them at.
Yeah… really annoying bug to kill your ears.
-D.
So for the audio that sounds like star wars sounds..... I think that is when you have sidetone on and the sound reflects off of a surface and the microphone picks up those and it kinds goes back and forth until it is high pitched... If I have side tone off and get close to like the table or something it won't happen. Then with the discord on your phone thing, wouldn't it be better to use discord on your computer because when you use the dongle you get 2 audio outputs so you could have the game as 1 and discord as the other, that way you can use your volume slider between the two and still hear both?
as a maxwell myself, i love this headset
I have seen a lot of reviews on this. Everyone agrees it's the best sounding headset but everyone had a different problem with build quality including this video, some major. I feel like anyone who buys there for CAD$450 CAD should do so accepting the fact that they may be in rough shape in two years which is kind of infuriating.....not just for the $$$ but also for electronic waste.
We're kinda tired of all the corner cutting and having to replace headsets. Manufacturers don't understand that if gamers are spending thousands on a video cards, they will be able to spend a lot more on a high quality headset that doesn't compromise on sound, built quality, software, comfort, etc.....
@Hardware Canucks I watched your reviews and i'm torn between 2 models that works on both Xbox and Playstation, The Audeze Maxwell and the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro. I mainly play FPS games online but still some single player games. Music and Bluetooth phone calls are not important for me.
I have 2 concerns about the Maxwells: First is the Comfort because they're over 500 grams, and second is the imaging or footsteps location ability compared to the Stealth Pro.
I would say that i bought the Turtle beach 700 gen2 max and returned them the same day, the sound and build quality were terrible so i'm afraid to buy another Turtle beach headset.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! SUBBED!
I'm in the exact same scenario. Did you ever decide on a headset between the stealth pro and Maxwell?
New to gaming.
Thank you for this video
I was considering the steel-series pro but after watching this video I think I will go with these. Can you tell me what came you were playing? Thank you!
The game was Cyberpunk 2077, it’s awesome and has some great sound design.
I'm sorry but that mic is horrible, you sound like you have a cold and trying to have a conversation with a box on your head Corsair HS80 mic still seem like black magic to me at this point
I will say the boom mic is ok but the built in mic makes it kinda sound like you have a lisp.
i love how the built in mic makes you sound like you have a lisp
With the in-built microphone he sounds like he doesn't have teeth or wearing mouth bracers😁
por que tiene voz de mujer en español, se agradece que se diera la molestia de localizar su video a latinoamerica , pero es que queda graciosos con esa voz femenina XD
i constantly had a snap, crackle, pop in one ear, sometimes both. its hard to remember after having 4, yes, 4, different models. I had an earlier revision, and then 5 months later, had to do 3 seperate rmas to not have a weird sound artifact happen from just wearing the god damn thing. its been so dissapointing and angers me how much people praise this defective mess
That glue peeling away after such a short time means it's an instant no buy if it's a common problem.
All that money and the mic is still cheeks. The rest of it is great though
hows the imaging compared to the hd58x? i mostly play cs2
How is it compared to LCD GX ?
I hope someone would make a adjustable headband replacement
How does this thing compare to the other audeze wireless headsets? They have a few of them right? Aren’t the mobius and Penrose newer? Or is this some newer iteration of the maxwell?
These things are awful, dull, muffled, I don't get it I just got them in tried every EQ thinkable and they sound worse than some cheap Sony MDR's I have.
You on PC?
Best headset I ever had.
Oh boy, I have buyer's remorse with this pair. There are so many issues. My unit is a pre-order, and it arrived so far from the initial promised day - almost 2 months late.
The latency when playing a TH-cam video is bad. Maybe it's an issue with Windows, Firefox, or Chrome, but it's a well-documented problem.
The battery life, at least in my unit, won't come close to 80 hours, and I've kept track of it.
Software-wise, it's lackluster to say the least.
I've experienced random pops and crackling.
The subreddit is filled with people reporting these issues and more.
Did you return it?
It's fin-ness, no hate. 9:35
New pulse elite is also planar magnetic
Sony has bought Audeze recently, so I guess they are using the same planar drivers.
Audeze nuts
NEFASTA TRADUCCIÓN !!!
They're insanely hard to get in Europe. I was waiting 1.5 months for them to be in-stock. Once i ordered them, they're supposed to arrive friday (tomorrow), but the package got delayed and are scheduled to arrive next week tuesday.
How much did you pay @NoNick1337 ? I've found PS / Xbox versions in Denmark. But at €400 it's way to expensive.
@@sighheinrich 1550 PLN, so about €340 for the PS version
I have the same problem. I just cannot find them anywhere...
You can just buy them branded as Alienware. Dell resells these with their own branding.
What version is it with the cool funky ear cushions?
Wicked Cushions
Is the maxwell better then the steelseries arctis nova pro
From a spec side, yeah by far.
Was thinking maybe going wireless, these seem solid, bit pricey here in EU though. Was thinking about Beyerdynamic MMX 200 I wonder how they compare.
Don’t bother tbh
Is that a micro-USB I see? 👀
It’s usb-c
That mic sounds horrible. Like you are speaking into a balled up sweater.
Canucks can you tell your honest opinion what headset do you think is better the gsp 600 or the h6pro just the headset no amps
H6 pro bro, Gsp 500 600 670 all have terrible clampforce
@IAMIAM777 I bought the h6pro from Amazon they are on sale for 99 dollars and I love them, the only downside is the braiding on the cord is not as good but I'm using the cord from the gsp 600 that iv had for years
Man I thought the fact it can't mix bluetooth in was bad. The capsule mic sounds like you are underwater lol. and i would Feild Sobriety Test you based on the slurring sound of that internal one. Planar is cool but man, as far as I am concerned, I would rather you call me on a og flip phone lol
I'm actually interested in that Thermaltake case but it's not linked 😕 fine, I'll just Google it
Woops, just added the link :)
-D.
@@HardwareCanucksit's ok, I'm sure the sponsor didn't mind not having the link there 😬 😁
