Wow! This is a great combination of both of the original Hydrocity themes! If Sonic was a 3 Act per Zone game, this would make a great Act 2 with the original Act 2 song moved to Act 3. What a groove!
Am I the only one who listens to any version of Hydrocity Zone and swings my head back and fourth to the beat like those swinging ball foreground objects whenever I listen to it?
I always found it weird how sonic mania uses act 2 background for act 1 and has the act 2 boss while act 2 has the act 1 background and the act 1 boss for hydrocity

As much as I love Hydrocity Act 2, I’m glad you incorporated it into act 1 without overshadowing the original composition too much.
