    It worked! I just made 8 meals in 8 minutes … cost £4. That’s 50p a meal!! And it’s really healthy. No boiling water, no large pans to lift, no forgetting it on the stove, no mess! Thank you so much x

    I love cooking with my Instant Pot, especially when we travel in our RV. I’m constantly learning how to cook stovetop recipes in the IP to save time, dishes and, in the RV, counter space 😊
    I love that you shared the cook time formula for different types of pasta. That inspired me to subscribe to your channel. I love your simple, informative style and the options you shared!
    We use cassava flour pasta so I’m hoping the cook time formula will still work 😊

    Helpful next time to say out loud what buttons we are pushing!
    Pasta is done perfect but it really watered down my homemade sauce so I had to add a lot more.
    Next time I'll only put half the sauce in and add cold sauce at the end and put the lid back on and possibly use less water but an awesome way to do pasta fast!
    Thanks again

    I just tried the spaghetti dish (with Rao) and well, it's really not any faster and has a downside of cooking the pre-made sauce. I found out long ago that cooking a pre-made sauce changes the taste; it loses some of the sweetness of the tomatoes. About the only advantage is it's a 1-pot dinner, but that doesn't matter when you have a dishwasher. But I made it anyway because I wanted to use my new Instant Pot Pro😜
    Browning the meat takes the same amount of time. The preheat/cooking/venting takes longer than boiling a pot of water, cooking, draining, and adding to the sauce and browned meat. I only heated the sauce, careful not to cook it. When you add the hot spaghetti it's all ready to eat.

    • @PressureCookingToday
      @PressureCookingToday  หลายเดือนก่อน

      People love doing pasta in the pressure cooker because you can set it and walk away and do something else. You don't have to worry about noodles boiling over on the stove. But every recipe isn't for everyone. Have fun with your new Pro. It's a great pressure cooker.

    • @PressureCookingToday
      @PressureCookingToday  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It hate pulling it off too, but I still almost always remove it and clean it. Sometimes if I'm cooking more than one thing in it in a day (like rice and then something else), I won't clean the lid until I'm done with it for the day.

    • @HeatherRose2023
      @HeatherRose2023 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have been using my IP for months and have never cleaned the sealing ring or lid. I just shake the water off in the sink, then let the lid air dry each time. The small side handles on the lid are designed to fit into the small side handles on the pressure cooker, like a key in a lock. The lid will be perpendicular to the pot. (Not sure how to describe that well, but I saw it on another video.)

    • @calvinspiff4348
      @calvinspiff4348 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PressureCookingToday you missed the point. It's not about making a spoon dirty. It's the fact that the pasta didn't even move when you "stirred" it. The point is "stirring" raw pasta in water, in that small confined space doesn't do anything. You'd have to use force strong enough to break the pasta, which defeats the purpose. Just pick it up and swish.
