We are glad you found the video helpful! 🙂
Thank for vid...I did the testing and switch removal without taking out the heating element & housing. I just removed the front two bracket screws and loosened the heating element housing to get at the bad (no continuity) high limit thermostat...so now to check the price, order, and wait...an no I won't be buying from that big conglomerate co. the begins with an "A"...!! They have so much $$ they are now taking rides on rocket ships into space...Jeff how 'bout more philanthropy and helping the less fortunate..!!
ON MY WHIRPOOL DRYER I CHECKED THE HEATING ELEMENT, THE THERMOSTAT AND SENSOR OR FUSE PROTECTOR THEY ARE ALL GOOD. WHAT CAN BE THE PROBLEM? COMPUTER BOARD?
Yes a bad control board could cause your issue. Also, make sure the check the power supply to the dryer to make sure it is getting proper power.
My element has an ohm reading of 0.9xxx. It heats the dryer well, almost too well. The sides for machine are very hot to the touch after about 30 mins. I have tested both thermistor inlet/outlet and thermal cut off. They all read fine. I guess I am confused because I assume any issue with the heater element would result in no heat, not excuse heat like I am experiencing.
Thank you, it was bad Thermal Fuse. Less than 6 months old, just replaced all the parts (bad element). Wonder why I blew so soon?
The first thing to check for restrictions in the exhaust venting.
I changed high thermalstat switch but it went bad again
What is the part number and model number of the dryer?

@@PartsDr dryer turn on spins but no heat.i checked continuity on elemt it's good.has 10 ohms with meter
I have an odd problem. The dryer will heat for 5-10min into the cycle, but will shut off and the dryer will continue to spin for the remainder of the cycle. but afterwords the breaker has popped and the dryer wont turn on until i reset it. it happens every time i run the dryer
This type of problem can be caused by a bad breaker. I would start by replacing the breaker to see if that remedies the problem.
Unfortunatly I didn't take a picture or mark the wiring and now I can't find anyone to help me...I know how to check every t hing I just need help connecting the wires!!
The two power wires to the heating element can connect to either terminal.
I thought with ohms if its good it will go to 0
I need picture of wires phone was destroyed!!!??!!!
