Seems like some of the issues you faced with multi device connections have been fixed!? I got these Headphones since about one month and I never had any issues. My devices (notebook and phon) connect immediately when I turn the headphones on and when I start playback on any device it works, if I get a call or start playing something on the other device the headphones pause the other source and swich to the new one seemless. The only thing that happens from time to time is that I get disconnected from the notebook when I walk away too far (by far I mean REALLY FAR because the range is incredible!) and they don't reconnect automatically, then I have to go to BT devices on the notebook and just click connect again and it works again. I never had to change devices manually or something like that...
Ever since your comment I have noticed that the device switching has gotten better. I think there was a firmware update that fixed the issues I was facing. I'll be sure to include this in an updated video.

What I'm concern about is: When I change the EQ in the app, will it load to headphones or do I have to set the EQ every time when I turn them on? Because from what I've heard the app doesn't really work well, so i might use it once and then uninstall it.

Great information. I just got a pair of these. On Sept. 9 2020, I saw they had updated the Bose Music App (the one you complain about at 11:09) and so I reinstalled the app on my phone. Now I can switch between my Macbook Pro laptop and my iPhone 6s without having to turn off the headphones and turn them on again. I do have to re-connect via the bluetooth icon on my Macbook Pro, though. Hope this helps!
Interesting! Thanks for sharing that. I checked the App Store and it’s still showing the latest version is from last month ago but I’ll keep an eye on it. Anything to avoid turning them off/on again! 😂

Hi are you using app for this headphone to control which device to connect? As of this moment, Sony XM4 has been out and available. I have watched many reviews and even test comparisons between Bose 700 and Sony XM4, and Bose 700 always win specially in noice cancelling for mic. What's your experience now with Bose 700?
Hint, I see you wearing an Apple Watch, you can adjust volume forward and back for your iPhone playing on your watch, but for your other devices your out of luck. I play most of my media on my iPhone, so I don’t use the functions on the headphones because the problems you are having, that is why I don’t use those features.

thinking about returning bose 700 due to the randomly occuring stuttering/cracking sound when connecting two devices. repairing bluetooth or restart headphone helps but the lack of fixes to this issue make me feel that it's not worth the over 400 price tag
I'm having a similar issue! I'll be listening to audio and the audio will all of a sudden change and sounds as if I were on a call. Another thing I've noticed is that I'll be on a call and I'll hear some random buzzing. It's happened enough times now that I've confirm that it's me. I agree, though. At this price, you shouldn't be dealing with these kinds of issues. We'll see what my long term feelings about it are...
@@itschrishuerta I like bose 700 for its noise-cancelling effect and a good mic for the conference call, but this stuttering/cracking issue really bothers me. Glad that I am not alone in this. You can read more about this issue here: community.bose.com/t5/Around-On-Ear-Headphones/Noise-Cancelling-700-Firmware-Update-Stutter-when-Connected-to/td-p/301689. I am within the 30-day return window so I might return this to Amazon. I am ordering Sennheiser PXC 550-II to test out the mic quality even though its NC is not superior to bose 700.
If you think the Bose 700 is loose, never buy a Sony headphone. They're pretty tight compared to the 1000XM4. The Sony will fall from your head and are not ideal for small/average head.
I have the Bose 700s. You can switch between two devices by stopping the device you are using and start the new device. You have to do that with the Sonys so I am not sure what the problem is. If you are on your computer and you get a phone call, the Bose headphones switch automatically. Before you do a video, take some time to learn how use the product you are reviewing.
I made this video a year ago and at that time, there device switching wasn’t as seamless as it is now. There’s been several app updates that have fixed this and now it’s working better for me. Haven’t had time to make an update to the video so what you’re watching is in the context of a year ago. :) Thanks for watching!
Are there a white noise all the time at bose700 ANC on? One thing that I also notice on XM4 is that ANC is not magical, there is always a white noise on the background. Or the phone is broken, I dont know. I really Liked all of your points, honestly, the unique REALLY annoying that you showed is this multiple pair thing. On XM4 this works perfectly, your phone is actually conect to both devices all the time. There is no such a thing like switch. Anyways, I'm justing returning the XM4, TERRIBLE MICROPHONE, its like talk over the radio of Silent Hill... $500 (CAD) for a phone with a shit microphone? I refuse to stay with it.
Ahhh, it sounds like white noise but to be honest, I never really have the headphones on while I’m not listening to something. Microphone quality is a big one! I know we spend lots of time talking about the active noise cancellation but with COVID and WFH, people are taking lots of calls and you want to be sure you have a good mic! I’m sad the XM4s didn’t work out for you but I hope you find something that does!
The main idea of headphones is to sound good, if you're looking for mic quality get either a headset or a dedicated mic. If you're doing most of your calls at home I suggest simply buying a cheap USB mic. The fifin k669 is like $35 US and sounds a million times better than anything u find on either the bose or Sonys.
Agreed. I have a blue yeti mic already but the thing I lose there is flexibility. I take tons of calls and tend to pace and walk around. I’m not necessarily looking for the best mic, just the best mic or noise cancelling headphones. Great point though. I’ve heard great things about that Fifin mic.
I just got these yesterday. I wish I would have seen this video before I got them. The sound is wack, I could not believe this with them being Bose. I like to lay down and listen to music, when I do they fall off, they just flip back. When I need to take them off for a moment, I alway his some buttons that throw it off. I’m extremely disappointed. I’m taking them back today. I got the at Best Buy and purchased their warranty but not sure if the will refund the $100 I paid for it or at least transfer it to a new headset.
I hate bluetooth. After over 15 years of using the latest and greatest bluetooth headsets, it seems that the technology has hardly improved at all. When I've used headphones with simple dedicated RF dongles, they worked EVERY TIME, no problem whatsoever, with awesome range, and they operated at a frequency that made it safe to have very long ranges. ...bluetooth, on the other hand, is a guaranteed trash heap of problems every time. Major companies' bluetooth implementations need a SERIOUS overhaul. Glitches, disconnects, stubborn refusal to pair or connect for long periods of time, countless bugs in different companies' BT implementations, random buzzing sounds, random crashes, short range that can't be improved without being a health hazard thanks to the frequency, stupid interference problems because BT operates in a stupid frequency range that is overcrowded, so much stupidity that never changes and never gets better...
what did you buy that is better. I record music. any suggestions? hard to get out and try with covid19. I bought these and having buyers remorse. looking for a digital reference headphone.

If you think the Bose 700 is loose, never buy a Sony headphone. They're pretty tight compared to the 1000XM4. The Sony will fall from your head and are not ideal for small/average head.
Thanks! I am looking to buy for a person with a small head and this definitely helped!
Oh that’s a great comment. Thanks for sharing that. Haven’t had a change to try the Sony’s for a long period of time so this is great to know.
The Sony ones are uncomfortable they hurt your ear
Which firmware version are you in ?
I'm using the latest firmware. Not able to copy/paste it though.
So, you’re not the sharpest knife in a draw. Gotcha
Lol I think you meant drawer 😂
Seriously??!! This is the worst video i have seen on the entire internet !!!!!
A garbage headset, i returned it.
What issues did you have with it?
Why??? 😶😶😶🇳🇬🇺🇸
what did you buy that is better. I record music. any suggestions? hard to get out and try with covid19. I bought these and having buyers remorse. looking for a digital reference headphone.
The fact that you'd come here and leave such a comment with no other information says a lot in itself. **shruggs**
A review of headphones without mention how they sound playing music?!? Thats why 99% of people buy headphones ….to listen to music!!
