Kraken hits is the worst with the omega slabs that are worth nothing. There needs to be a stated floor of the slabs in those bags.

I see people pay 40$ + for like 4 packs of japanese packs from Kraken. Never understood the floor / ceiling games as I usually only go on to WN looking for singles with shipping under a dollar. Kraken always has 4$+ shipping on each item.

Thanks for all you do to expose scammers on this channel. I'd heard something happened with Global Nostalgia but didn't understand what it was until this video. I've had good experiences with Whatnot and the couple of times there were problems with a missing/lost-in-transit item, I was refunded straight away when I contacted support. Legitimate businesses like card shops use the platform to sell, and I prefer to support small businesses than go to a big company to buy cards so in my opinion that's what the platform is meant for. I don't want scammers to ruin it.

You can buy safely in whatnot. I sell on there but I just legit run my shows like a convention. I show things off, load up my bin, and let people see. Almost exclusively claim sales, once in a blue moon I’ll do an auction show with giveaways. Shows obviously don’t get a ton of viewers but I’ve been doing it like that for almost 2 years, 3200 sales, mostly slabs.
The reason I say this is because even as a whatnot seller, I can’t stand so many of the big sellers. I never recommend anyone to go into the majority of the biggest sellers shows. You can safely shop on whatnot, just go into the smaller sellers streams. Not only will you get the proper attention, you also are supporting people who for the most part are just doing it because they actually enjoy the hobby. Now there is always a risk even with the smaller sellers but I have a list of 25 sellers on there I always recommend and know for a fact are entirely transparent and take care of their customers like I do.

If this is your forum post can you please respond to the latest message about your refund. It would be good to understand if Global Nostalgia refunded you and whether you had any further comms with them. Given they are a sponsor of the likes of the London Card Show, it's imperative to understand whether a seemingly large entity in the Pokemon community is reputable.
EDIT: Sorry, just noticed it was a specific reply in the thread you're referring to :)

Worst part of WN is when you are bidding on something and their friend or other account runs the bids up to the same amount EVERY time. a 5-7$ bid instantly ran up to 20-25$ hoping someone swipes and screws them over.

If you have a problem or suspect something, confront the guy you have an issue with instead of bashing and ruining people's reputations. Secondly, Global Nostalgia is one of the biggest TCG sellers in the UK and a major sponsor of the largest card show in the country. They're legitimate, honest, and better than most sellers and influencers out there. Lastly, creating a channel just to post a video of false information-when it could have been an honest mistake-makes no sense. You could have simply called Kevin to resolve the issue.
