This is Matt's 1968 Mercury Cougar XR-7 with a bone stock 302 Windsor and 3-speed manual transmission. The exhaust consists of stock manifolds and true dual exhaust with Speedy Snap mufflers and 2.5" tailpipes. It has an awesome scream above 3K RPM and a nice rumble at idle. You can't beat this sound on a stock motor!

This is tooooo funny. I have a 67 xr7. It is a 67.5 because the xr7 didn’t come out till mid year in 67. I have a 351w and have been on the fence bout sticking some snap muffs on her. Now I believe it HAS to be done:)
