    Reminder to not start any witch-hunts please, just thought it would be a fun subject to debate. At the end of the day it's up to the judges to decide not us :)

      So the judge decided it was a mistake?

    • @Atsharam
      @Atsharam 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      I don't think the judge stated anything in that case.
      Usually if you do that and it's noticed once (like it was in game 1) he just gets a warning, but the fact he does it once again in game 3 hasn't been noticed (it is not said in the video).
      If the judge was called then the judge should sanction him, depending on how bad they think hos actions were (it can go from losing the duel, to being expelled from tournaments for a while)

      No the judge can make a ruling but we all know the truth. Just how OJ was found not guilty yet we know he did it. To think just because a judge makes a ruling we all have to ignore reality is quite foolish or gullible to be honest.

    Once I had a monster in monster zone 5 and I accidentally put it into the grave while checking my graveyard, I didn’t even realise until a bit after
    I do think that this isn’t like that, but absentmindedness can go a long way, at least it was caught

    He played Relinquish Anima, it was strategically. Especially since it was twice

  • @mean7745
    @mean7745 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    My thought is that it was deliberate both times. Decks that use Anima care quite a bit about enemy monster zones. He also read the first card quite quickly, which is odd as wording is everything and you want to be sure to understand it.
    Regardless, due to social stigma I would have let him get away with the first card”honest mistake” as it is possible but highly unlikely, but the second time? Nah.

    Ive had relinquish players do this. Its annoying its done on purpose.
    Even had it done where I had imperm on spell zone 2 and my monster in monster zone 3 only for the guy to move it into zone 2 after reading. Since no other spells or traps were out.

    Well there is "yugioh can't read" like that one instance where a Kuribros member send a Dragon with Diviner and pass turn. But this is definitely deliberate, especially when he had Anima in mind.
