Nice unit for a service truck. Probably Anderson SB connecters for the battery cables. When you setup for welding cables Tweco twist lock ends make secure dry storage easy cables are available in colors for + _ or just use shrink wrap to code them. I like to use a smaller guage cable whip for my stinger lead, 15 or 20 ft makes outof position welding a lot easier.
Absolutely love mine only thing I had to do is on that gas breather right by the oil drain, put a regular clamp on that thing instead of millers little compression clamp. Both of my new millers, had to do the same thing. Absolutely amazing all in one product.
Congratulations, you called me about the unit that we have. We have the enpac 30 which is a longer unit. The compressor is great but the jump start will not engage if the battery voltage is too low but you can switch it to chassis voltage to bring the battery up then switch back to jump start and watch the amp gauge drop and crank up the dead unit
Anderson connector, looks to be a SB175 . It's the connector that electric forklifts and electric pallet jackets, and all sorts of other industrial stuff. SB175 for $25 buy the handle attachment, makes a whole lot easier to disconnect! I have 0g welding lead from my batteries on my truck hard-mounted anderson on the front bumper. So I can run my winch or jumper cables
@@cotontop3 Yup they do! 175 is the most common one though. They make a handle that screws on, along with a wire clamp for strain relief. Worth every penny to buy them! The smallest one they make the sb50 is used in power wheelchairs and power scooters and are pretty nice, but for 50A powerpoles take up less space (ham radio guys love them powerpoles). Anyhow, gorgeous machine bud, I'm jealous! I have a Bobcat 225 w/ Subaru engine
i love me some miller airpaks but i demod the ranger air mpx and its amazing. currently running a 302 airpak and its the best machine ive ever ran. its a bit big though
Twist lock quick attach 1/4 or 1/2 turn style. 5ft blow stick will be the ticket, it'll help blow coolers and radiators out. Do you see building a little bit bigger gas tank for extended use? Been swamped hauling Propane with jumbo.
Nice setup, had a Miller it messed up ,I bought a Lincoln and not near as good as Miller. Kohler engines got bought out and they are making changes in Hattiesburg plant.
That plug in must be a quick charge for your battery operated tools but that is my guess and it has a safety feature that won't let the machine over charge and are you still logging and have you heard from Thomas Johnson logging out of Louisiana
I need something like that I see Lincoln's got something similar too I'm running an F 250 with the 8 ft utility bed with the 10'000 plus not much room for big enough compressor I got little 13 gallon C H in front of the welder but it's just like a cat's sneeze to the amount of air I needs sometimes
I had a 250 bobcat airpak…absolutely hated it. Was sent off for service twice for repairs in 115 hrs. Air compressor makes so much water that you can barely use air tools. Filter/driers couldn’t manage the amount of water. Miller’s only solution cost was crazy $$$$. Sold it and went back to traditional separate units.
Could you not also incorporate a refrigeration/ air conditioning pump & pass it through a inter cooler set up ? The freshly compressed air is very hot & as it cools the moisture condenses, then pass through an inter cooler , then water separator / air dryer , then you get cold dry air . Places that sell air compressors have this type of setup on large setups , so the air tank receives only DRY air . Also then you don’t have to bleed of / drain the tank every day. I have a set up in my shop , on my air compressor that takes the air from the compressor, through a coil of copper tubing in a 5 gal bucket , full of water with a 2 gal plastic bottle of ice sitting in water , in the center of the bucket , then through a water collector air dryer , then into the tank , air is always DRY & no moisture in the tank !
@@robertmintz63 Yes sir, but space and portability is the issue on a service truck and this machine was supposed to maximize that. Miller offers an add on cooler like you described, but again it took up more space and was around $4k to add to a machine that was already $9k. I believe newer and larger models come with coolers built in. But the 200 did not.
I'm all for this set up.... Did you look into an inverter that you could set up a charging station in one of your boxes? Dens-more connections, quick connection? I was going to make a heavy duty set of jumper cables out of welding leads, the old timers told me not to waste my money, too much resistance using the welding lead.
You may be planing on it but you need to make the rack slide out so you can get to both sides or you will be unbolting it to work on it even to change the filters on the side of your fuel tank if it's not set far enough back to acces the back side I worry on them and I get 300 dollars to unbolt one so I can get to it if I can't so it's money and down time for you and you will need to the blocked side I promise I see it everyday even if cost more and takes longer make the rack it sits 9n pull back so you can get all around it easily just 5houghts of someone who sees them un acesable every day
The problem with all these generator welders is they go full speed every time you try to run anything of their power supply ; to fix that problem I am going to install a large enough inverter 12V dc- 120 V ac , so that I can run a fan , grinder , drill
I am surprised they are only making that equipment not in electric only. So much stuff in California is electric. I am glad your machine is still gasoline not electric this country is not ready for everything electric for at least 20 or more years.

Good stuff Tim! I have a Bobcat 250 … right at 7 years old, and it is a BEAST of a welder / generator! I love Miller’s technology advancement!
Anderson connectors like on wrecker and service trucks. Sweet unit!

You are right, it is a 175. I looked at the dimensions online to figure out which one. They make several different sizes of those things.

I love it that you are becoming even more self efficient.... that's smart.
Thats a nice unit, a lifelong investment.
Best made equipment ever made see them almost ever service truck around.
It is amazing how many manufactures make welder generator air compressor. All in one units sure lighten the load on the truck.
Twist lock quick attach 1/4 or 1/2 turn style.

Good for you CT. You are an inspiration.
That's a nice feature to have on a welder I'd like to have one of those myself good job on show me what you going to do thanks a lot
Couldn't see the plug very well but it could be an Anderson connector .
Very nice welder , i have a 250 bobcat EFI that I'm very happy with .
Nice machine enjoy,Anderson plug for jumper 👍🏻🇺🇲
Mighty stuff Tim, fair play and well wear, very very nice👌👍🙏😎
Amazing piece of machinery, Thanks for sharing.
sounds like the truck will be sweet
That’s going to work out great for you Tim!
Nice setup, had a Miller it messed up ,I bought a Lincoln and not near as good as Miller. Kohler engines got bought out and they are making changes in Hattiesburg plant.
truck will be a bad ass set up
Anderson power pole
Nice welder
That's a big blue beast
Sounds like a good plan but gonna kinda be a pain to have to remove the welder to service it
Go ahead and put a generator inlet on your house for when the storms come through and power goes out😊
He has one in his garage so he could plug in the Honda one
That plug in must be a quick charge for your battery operated tools but that is my guess and it has a safety feature that won't let the machine over charge and are you still logging and have you heard from Thomas Johnson logging out of Louisiana
Sweet!
Very nice Tim.
You can use air tanks from a trailer run them in tandem under your truck
Very nice Tim
Go ahead and put jumper cable reel on it too

What are your thoughts on the trailblazer vs this machine? Is there a big difference?
Was wondering how much the bobcat weighs? Videos are awesome. Truck is looking good. Thanks

I think you better check that one out ! The bigger the lead the less reistance . The best jumper cables are made from welding lead
@@robertmintz63 I was thinking the same, I don't think the old timers got that right.
I believe thats an "anderson" plug for the jumper cables, maybe a different name, but it looks like a forklift battery plug
Thats so cool Mr. Tim.. ur rig is an absolute beaut.. u always said "theres always a plan to ur maddness" hahaha
It's an Anderson connector

I have a plan for being able to sit it out of the truck quickly if I need to.

Tools & such stuff run off a battery powered inverter , will not cause the gen to go full throttle
Not all of them - the Trailblazer with Excel Power will solve that problem if that's a concern.
Lincoln Air Vantage 500 is the miller killer.
I’m liking that truck body on your 5500 truck! Is it a Knapheide?
It's a CM
Why don’t you convert the miller from petrol to propane , US Carburetors sells the kits ! more efficient & the motor will last you 2X as long
Anderson connector
Bidenomics. 70% increase in price in 3 years. What a great man😂
So jealous

Right 20 yrs , not even then !
Is your dad and brothers still in the woods?
Yes
Can I ask what's up with the landscape rake in the back ground? Is it modified so you can attach it to an excavator bucket? Thank you.
I grab it with the grapple on my excavator and that’s how I clean up a yard super fast.
🇺🇸👍🙂
GETTING GONE HERO
