Guys what he is talking about around minute 8 about him, his calibration standard and other TV reviewers..believe him. I, too, was scaptical at first but holy crap does it make a difference what he is showing in his settings videos. You probably not going to see it through your current monitor or tv (if calibrated poorly), but once you dial that in into specific tv you will see for yourself in real life (where it matters) what he is talking about. I own a S90C and the difference between "reference" aka FMM and his recommended settings is not even funny. Its not the same TV and definitely not worth keeping locked into "reference" settings. Tough keep in mind I used his S95C settings as they seemed more applyable to me, cause of the Gen 2 panel and actually looked better on my S90C than the actual S90C (gen 1) settings. I even applied the S90D gaming settings (as there were none for S90C) to my TV, made just slight adjustments and it still looks better than anything else I found on the web (even if reference calibration wasnt the goal of those settings). Are those the most ideal, because I used settings from TVs sharing the same panel, but not being the same model? Maybe a little. Does it still look way better than anything else? 100% yes by a long shot
Im stoked to apply his settings to my TV. Im getting the S90D, hopefully by the end of the month. My only question is will I have to actually calibrate the TV through a program or are the settings just adjusted from with in the TV picture settings. Im not an AV guy so I hope im using the right terminology lol. Either way, once I get the TV, I'm getting the membership.
The 98" qm851g post calibration is an outstanding, very near reference exampe, with calibration resolving the shadow detail and specular highlight fidelity issues in the factory build.
Highly recommend the Samsung S90D which was recommended by Quantum a month ago and boy oh boy was he so right !!!!!❤ love your channel brother can't ever get enough because your are always spot on with the reviews.
Got this years QM7, and love it. But might upgrade to the QM8, based on your reviews for the increase in dimming zones and black levels. QM7 is no slouch for a mid range though.
Making a final decision soon what im buyin'. Would you say currently with your new findings that the S95D is like the S90D but with brighter highlights?
Hi Q, woukd you recomend the S90C over the S90D if its cheaper? Are they very different from eachother in terms of PQ and SQ? Because at this point it is possible to get a 65 or 77 S90C for the price of a 55" S90D. Thank you.
Wouldn’t even have considered it without watching your videos but I went in store today looking for the S90d and fell completely in love with the picture of the s95d eh got that geek squad protection for sure
Would love some help on guidance to 98” models from anybody. TCL and Hisense different model names here in UK compared to USA. Is the Samsung S90D better than the S95D are they the teles to get. I’ve got a 65” Sony a90J from 2022 and want a 95” or 110” Hisense
What’s up Q, where I’m at I have the Samsung s90C still available for sale at a slightly cheaper price than the s90D. Would you recommend I pick up the C over the D?
Hi, thanks for the insightful review on these TVs, I learned a lot. I was wondering what your opinion is on the Sony A95L from 2023, in comparison to the best we have this year?
S95D is amazing, it's super bright, super colorful, I also have an incredibly bright living room and there is NO reflection off the screen. On the glossy screens I can literally see the reflection of my windows on the screen and it's a bit annoying.
Q🎉 IMO a couple of alternative thoughts.. the 75” Qn90C is going for as low as $1600 right now. Some stores still have them in stock. Also I think all of Samsung QLed TVs were better in the 2023 C version over the D series. (Some of which is due to the AdS panel maybe) Def agree that 2024 Hisense/tcl are much better than 2023. Side note.. I’ve seen your videos on the U8N.. but personally I don’t think the 55”U8N you got is a true representation of Hisense mini led in 2024. I’ve sat with the 75U8N, which is an ads panel and 2000 LDZ (65” has around 1600, 85” around 1620) but I don’t even recall the dimming zone count on the 55”. I DONT disagree with your opinion on mfr releasing various panel tech for different sizes of the same model! But maybe there’s a way to get you a 65/75/85” in for review?? The 85U8N is on sale at Amazon for like $1799 (and price as the 75”) 🎉 however that pricing makes me skeptical as well. lol 🎉
Need some assistance. Bestbuy has 77” s95c for $2299 or s90d for $2599. S95c is great deal but last years model. Any insight on what to buy/considerations? Thanks!
hey man, love your content i still have a LG C1 65 inch and still looks great but i do think its time to upgrade i wanna stay with C series should i get the C4 or would the C3 suffice ? thanks in advance
Honest to goodness there's no reason to upgrade if you're stay with lg. The extra brightness washes out the picture. For a huge upgrade the s90c or s90d will be a far greater improvement
Appreciate your settings and dedication, but for my taste it seems they were too red (at least on the samsung 90d). I can tell you know what you are doing for sure, and it comes down to personal taste obviously. I get that you must make a living, but perhaps would be best to tone it down a bit, saying it's better than anything that's out on the market is an overstatement.
Dull and washed, oversaturated with a ton of clipping, or good detail with overly cool tones. Those are the only options. If you hire anyone or take it out of the box. I am indeed the best settings creator in this market. Name one better🤷♂️I've been looking. If you can find better I'll concede. Because in 9½ years of doing this I found no one can come close to my image quality. If your tastes call for less red, use a cooler temperature. That will add blue. If its still not your taste add green with tint. There's always a way to get your taste met with me. However, you didn't ask if there was anything else. You went straight to trying to humble me. I don't do humble in a sea of liars and con men.
I want the TCL Q8M51G 98inch, which is currently 6k. Ive never purchased a TV on black Friday but if anyone here has what type of discount can i expect?
It’s unfair to Hisense tho. They launched the update months ago no weird banding at All for many months now . SONY Bravia 9 just broke their Uodate . I mean that shit happens . If S95B S95C etc all launched bad update n fix it . 😂 we don’t have issue with -- THAT ! 😊 as long as they fix , unlike the Samsung with S95B they does NoT revert . N u know it . U8N had 55” prob didn’t get updated in time before come to your hand . its tallorable 😊for most :) as long as they fix in weeks . U don’t want ppl see u as double standard n stubborn right ? Especially if any of us inform u “it’s fixed 4 months ago “ n u get irritated, n force the Narritive from -- May 2024 . As influncer ,,, I WOULD go openly against something to fact check “if it’s Fixed or NOT “ before assuming it’s not :)

S90D is it, looks incredible.
Looks way better in person
Samsung S90D
All day
Definitely extraordinary.
The 55 inch is just perfect
S90c if you can find one, in Europe only 65s90d is qd
@@Quantum_TV I can get a 55" S90C for 1200 or a S90D for 1350 or S95C for 1400 (europe) Which one you sugest?

TCL Q651g. Surprised how good it is for the price. Black level for a normal VA with no dimming zones is crazy.
I am glad I decided to hold myself for the 2025 models. My LG C1 still looks better than most of the 2024 tv's. It is a gaming beast as well.
Same here. 😊
Got this years QM7, and love it. But might upgrade to the QM8, based on your reviews for the increase in dimming zones and black levels. QM7 is no slouch for a mid range though.
Just grabbed up a TCL qled nd it's lit frfr👈🏿💪🏿💪🏿 1st time I got another brand besides Samsung nd LG
Which model did you snag brother?
@@Quantum_TV TCL qled Qclass

Is the Samsung 65S95C still agood buy if I can get it a good discount?
As my first W oled I gotta go with the C3 most likely cause I heard about C4 green tint
Do you have any settings available for members for the LG C4?
Can we get them gaming setups for the s90d pweez😅
You have to buy the membership. If you can afford a S90D then you can afford the $5 membership
Making a final decision soon what im buyin'. Would you say currently with your new findings that the S95D is like the S90D but with brighter highlights?
S90D has better picture over all, the 95d only has super bright highlights when needed which isnt often

In the same boat.
Get the D hands down. It's way more impactful
Hi, thanks for the insightful review on these TVs, I learned a lot. I was wondering what your opinion is on the Sony A95L from 2023, in comparison to the best we have this year?
It gets crapped on when talking about the s90D from Samsung

Currently own Samsung Q90T 75in QLED
Thinking about upgrading to Samsung S90D 77inch QD OLED.
Will there be a noticeable upgrade difference?
Thanks
QN85D next!
I would but it has no popularity, which means extremely low turn out. Sadly this only works when viewers are engaging with the content.
Have the Samsung S85D. I’m already shopping for a replacement.

Anything really missed by losing Dolby Vision support going Samsung?
Sony A95L or Samsung S90D?

Hi bro do u have best settings for lg g4, if so how to get it
You click on the join button after that you will have access to G4 and G3 settings
LG B4 is a good budget OLED option
Samsung Cu8000 or Tcl Q65 ?

Tcl qm8 2023🎉😊
No, go for the new one. It's def better
The 2023 model crushes blacks really badly. The 2024 is a huge leap forward.
What about the Sony A95L? Eveyone says the processing is away better than the Samsungs. I'm not interesting in the gaming aspect so much.
The A95L is good but overpriced. The S90D & S95D are the best picture *at the high-end.

S95c best tv
Finally
TCL c855

Depends on the model.
So is the S90D QD OLED or W oled?
I think it depends on the size, I believe 60" and 77" are QD but you should look it up
