I'm a long term Xiaomi user. My daily driver is a Poco F3 for over 3 years now. My main complain is that Xiaomi doesn't allow to install a third party launcher like Nova with full screen gestures. Is this still the case?

If you suffer from oled or amoled screens go for the PRO. Pwm dimming is double on the PRO.
2 mp macro camera is a joke in 2024.
Oneplus 12r has 5mp macro and samsung galaxy a54 5g has a macro camera.

the F6 brings so much value here where it just cost 375 usd for the 12/512 and 340 usd for the 8/256, both without any coupon on the local official Poco online shop.
Battery does take a toll during the first week, but it have since way improved. As for the rear design, it will get covered with a case anyway so it doesn't matter to me. Gaming performance have been superb and thermal management is so good for long heavy gameplay in Genshin & Honkai Star Rails.
I still have my Poco F3 😊🎉

What I don't like is the "design" of that huge camera lenses of the vanilla F6. sadly.

I think the lenses pretend to be something they are not. But everyone has different tastes. However, the plastic case is good because it is more stable than glass.
My Poco F6 got 1.6m in Antutu benchmark. Sometimes can get almost 1.7m mark. How crazy is that

Nowadays, anything above 1 mill Antutu would basically do the job for most gamers. Unless someone makes a popular game that needs so much power, there's many more components to a phone that would be far more useful to improve.
Even Snapdragon 865 is good enough to play Switch games on, either that or too poor to buy ROG and RedMagic if gaming's the focus.

I cant recommend the poco's in the states where you can get a oneplus 12r for 369-429 depending on the sale at that time. Its such a polished phone. Ive had samsung note series right up to the s ultras and i skipped 23 and 24 while i had my 22, but the 12r for me was the clear phone to get this year. Its by far the most competent and competitive phone on the usa market this year

The Poco F6 Pro is a better choice, especially if you can buy it on sale. It offers 12GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which supports Switch emulators easily. The new 8s Gen 3 chip can't handle Switch emulation, and 8GB of RAM isn't enough for heavy users. Plus, it comes with a fast charger, saving you time. The 12GB variant of the F6 costs the same as the Poco F6 Pro.

I have the F6 Pro and the screen is really nice. I wasn't expecting much from the camera but it's actually far better than the F3, and fast. Hard to justify main brand flagships at 3x the price from my point of view.

Ugly Cameras and Design, Poco F5 had better Design, but SD 8s Gen 3 makes up for it, I wanted USB Type-C 3.2 Port for Wired Mirroring through HDMI/DisplayPort Alt Mode, but that's only available in few selected Flagships

I'm using Poco F6 Pro 512 GB for a week now and i bought it in RM 2199 (or 400++ USD) and this is my review:
1. It's my first phone over 400 USD since 2012 (My first ever was Nokia X6 32GB, good ol days) and it shows. It's pretty snappy and a great device.
2. Camera is sublime for me since I'm too used to using budget device before i got this phone.
3. Sound quality is impressive, it's clear and i don't have any problem using headphone Bluetooth connection, no jittery or audio cut off even I'm walking at a busy streets in Kuala Lumpur.
4. Gaming.. well, i increased all of my download game (Genshin, Honkai Star Rail, Wuthering Waves, PGR, Cod and ML to max graphic setting and it perform flawlessly. There's a slight warm after you play like an hour though.
5. The stereo speaker for me it's not that loud though.. especially when you watch youtube or movies without earphone. Luckily the ringtones for call and messaging ia loud as heck.
6. Battery life is pretty nice. I tend to get 7-8 hour screen ontime when I'm using it heavy such as watching youtube, take some photos and videos, video call, play game a bit. But if you are a light user, it maybe can go up the 2 and half days without charging the phone.
Overall, it's a pretty good device
How hot does the cellphone get when playing games?
@@ghibranatsaury2826 just warm on the topside of the phone and thats basically it. It became warm if you pump up the graphic to max though with 60fps.
If you use a default graphic (Medium), the phone is not goong to be warm unless you play more than 3 hours.
Either way, its not even throttle even on heavy duress and warm. So its a good thing

Overall I think the only con for the Poco F6 Pro is the speaker... (excluding the nit picks like no wireless charging and etc but who cares) a bit disappointed. Compared it with my Poco X5 Pro, It's louder. But I think Poco F6 Pro is more polish/quality sound. But still X5 Pro is louder

@@ghibranatsaury2826 The Poco F6 Pro has its own cooling mechanism inside to ensure that it won't be damaged or reduce performance when temperature rises.
But yeah if it's possible you should rest the phone if you think it's too hot and stuff. It's natural for phones to be warm or even hot on hot weather countries.
unfortunately both of them have so so battery life compared to phones like 12R

I never like poco phones at all. They use clashing clours and like to use lines to divide up theor phone to give it a very bad design look.
And they have a lot of brandings and unnecessary wording on their phone backs all the time.
