Makes sense. Years and years of constant damnation really changes an evil soul... he deserves redemption on my part. That way, it shows the Sith will never be victorious and therefore will be defeated by the end of all things.
to be fair the chances of them landing on Korriban let alone any planet would be infinitesimal, so it must have been the Force itself that led them there
Could have just let the Republic have their pound of flesh and let them Execute them. I don't understand Jedi, they try to be merciful one day and chop peoples heads off the next. As HK-47 says they were annoying Pseudo-pacifists.
*Fun fact:* The "Book of the Sith" (pretty recommended by the way) contains a diary written by Sorzus Syn (one of the Dark Jedi) about their arrival to Korriban and Sith alchemy.
Thank you for continuing this series! These are some of the most interesting parts of Star Wars lore and I love your attention to some of the smaller details that often get glossed over in sourcebooks and references.
The Jedi are the real bad guys and hypocrites. The Legion of Lettow was doing nothing wrong, and maybe they would’ve been able to find a balance in the force. Where someone could use both dark and light without becoming corrupted. But they were never given the chance due to the supposed peacekeepers cutting them down, giving the remaining members of the Legion a warrior like mindset and hatred. It would’ve made it easier for them to be corrupted by the dark side by then.
Republic dude: Chancellor we have problem! Chancellor: Is it the Alsakin's again? Republic dude: No. Some rogue Jedi are trying to take over the Republic. And they're using artificial monsters. Chancellor: I'm pretty sure the Jedi deal with them quickly. It's not like this war is going to last 100 years.
2:20 - _"Usually, The Republic would easily defeat enemies like them, but they were a much more serious threat... Anyway, The Republic got rid of him pretty quickly"_
No one, because Disney would buthcer Old Republic lore like they butchered post-Return era, Disney can only tell OK-not-so-good stories inside 1-6 confines
Would sound awesome I always wanted to see Jedi and Sith fighting with swords and old heavy metal armors or anything not so techy or "alien" that kinda look more fantasy-like..
I really wish that the sequels were about the return of the Sith species and a war between them and the New Jedi Order/Republic, rather than a bootleg version of the OT.
I don't think any writer in that room knew anything about EU, they couldn't even keep consistency with 1-6 films and you're asking them to do sequels about EU lol
Man, the Jedi and Old Republic really knew what they were doing during these days or yore. A pity they became all too lenient, vulnerable, and easily corrupted. I hope Jacen's Jedi Praxeum will bring this all back. (If anyone's confused, I'm using a post-The Unifying Force headcanon timeline with no traces of The Swarm War, LotF, and FotJ. Crazy, but at least it's a fitting legacy timeline.)

I really wish that we would get more attention paid to these eras. The Rakata, how the first Jedi Exiles landed on Korriban and thus became the first Sith and Sith Lords, then the period during the Madalorian Wars and Revan and Malak Joining the fight against them, only discover that the Sith were behind it and when they were able to find the Sith Emperor, both fell to the Dark Side and that story. Then there is the time period of the great Civil War with the Sith Triumvirate and all that. Dont get me wrong, I love the original Trilogy and yes, except for Phantom Menace (Save Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Maul), I did like Episodes 2 and 3 and even 7-9...though I though (could have been done so much different but oh well). Now, I have mentioned only a few of the great stories that could be told from thousands of years before, how about AFTER the Rise of Skywalker? Now I cannot imagine a single Star Wars Fan that would not be stoked to get some kind of Film Trilogy or even Mandalorian type of Series about the Yuuzhan Vong War. From the stealthly way that spies paved the way for them to enter the galaxy and begin the invasion, to the Fanatical Beliefs they held, the death toll, etc. Then their Darth Krayt and Abiloth. WHat do you guys think????
6:44: I actually wonder why these word boxes are rendered blank at times. Sometimes, they have words, other times like right now, this. Can somebody please help me on this?
How has there not been any games, stories, or other media based off of the 100 Years of Darkness?? I wanna see stories going into these Dark Jedi and their armies of monsters instead of the same old tired stories revolving around Sith constantly going on about "The Strong must rule and weak must die!!!!1!" bullshit. This is an excellent time period to go into making games and stuff for. A new Knights of the Old Republic, but for an older and more interesting dark enemy than the Sith.
wait what? Since when did light cast it's own shadow? I've never heard of that. If the light itself is the entity then isn't it not possible for it to have a shadow? If it's objects around the entity, then isn't that phrase redundant?
Yes. The Light Side doesn't create the Dark Side. People do that. However, people get confused and start thinking that the Jedi are the Light and the Light is the Jedi, which results in them saying things that don't actually make sense.
Could the title be changed so RH #* is first? I has just found this series and some of the episodes was i little hard to find, since the last part of the title was hidden. But awsome series!
Definitely what the SW saga needs. A lot more people doing alot more from eras like this WAY in the past OR WAY into the future different eras then what Disney is regularly killing. Resurrecting with Sith magic an then killing again with its piss poor handling of the franchise. AN being ALL considered by them to basically be disavowed an made up that they dont want to deal with any... Well... Think we all get the idea... New, fresh an uncharted territory. Not seen since these Sith returned
Ironically the Jedi Order who sole purpose is to find balance in the Force will create its greatest challenge to it in the formation of the Sith Order. The Sith Order which will destroy again and again for thousands of years, only to be brought back by a Jedi’s who yearns to understand the Dark Side of the Force.
Anakin never yearned to understand the Dark Side. He was led astray by his own obsessions. Lacking in the wisdom to interpret the prophetic dreams being given to him. The Jedi were less than useless in getting through to him, and it was thanks to his vulnerability that Skywalker could be gaslighted into his fall by Palpatine. Even in TCW animated series, Anakin's relationship with Padme raised several red flags. He was intensely jealous and obsessive. Insecure. It wasn't a healthy love. This made him open to corruption.
4:55 1000 years?!?!?! Okay this is where Legends writers go off the rails and just throw out massively ludicrous numbers when it goes to time periods. No one spends 1000 YEARS just planning some shit unless they're Darth Bane's Sith order, who were all nuts anyways! XD
