hi Dan , great video do you have a video on loft planning permission , when you need it and the step by step process ?
My roof design is very similar to that one , just a bit narrower. I’m guessing you put a steel across to act as the ridge ,but how did you support it each end with the spandrel panels there ?. Did you have steels going across the wall plates and either block work up or more steel supporting the ridge ?
How long does it take to complete? I’m looking at doing one but want it done quickly

Fantastic work, are detached houses easier than terraced houses to convert?
Either has the pros and cons. But normally with a detached you have more spaces to park,work and have materials.

Do the pocket doors have to be 30 min fire rated?
Not inside the room. If on the escape route then yes would need to be.
Do you guys only operate down South? I'm wanting to convert my loft (realistically next year or so). Hate trying to find good people, and it's great to see all of the projects documented - your work looks amazing.
Sorry yes only really in Bedfordshire area at the moment. But we are working on some ideas to help brings bits up and down the country.

is this 70k for the structural work (roofs, stairs etc)? or does it include the cost of decorating/tiling the bathroom?
We include everything, except decoration carpets and client supplies bathroom suite and tiles but we include labour to install.

Was designed in a way to be able to get the cylinder out of it needed. But hopefully it don’t and as that will be fun. 😅

How did you manage to get permission on two dormers at the front???
Planning permission. They like pitched roof dormers on the front. And also locally they are in keeping.
We always get denied pitched small/medium dormers 😢 any tips?
Huh? They were 60K in December? 😢
Everyone is different. For example this one has lead dormers to the front so is more expensive 🤔
