Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks for sharing! Greetings from Indy, Usa. I hope we can do a loft conversion!
Looks like a great job. How did you manage to get such good ceiling height? How high is the ceiling please?
We had 2.7m to start with so we used every trick possible to gain as much head hight.
What about fire doors? And how could you manage to get a gallery looking down the existing stairs ? (New build or renovated homes with three or more storeys including loft conversions must have fire doors to every habitable room off the stairwell.)
We have solid doors. So building control are happy with a main linked smoke alarm system. Ie smoke alarm in every habitable room. As this is a 2nd option to just fire doors on the protected route.
Do you cover London?
Fabulous high quality conversion…was the quoted £60k inclusive of everything mentioned..
WAS the price including VAT ?🤔Great work ❤👍skills
Yes cost includes Vat.
Cost on top where
Decoration
Carpets
Supplying bathroom suit and tiles(labour included
Fitted furniture.
Hope this helps.
@@djmooreloftconversionspeci458 you mean the costs for the carpets, aircon ensuit etc is in addition to 60k? If so then how much provision there should be for that?
Had a flick on your website, couldn't find an answer for: Do you do roof lift conversions?
Thought id ask here, might help others with the same question
We do and have done a few. But the costs vs reward can be a struggle some times so it depends on the property and what you can gain in return for the cost. As it ends up being a fair chunk more.
What size is the loft as a whole please? And what BTU is the ac if you don't mind ?
Loft is around 9m long 5.2m wide
I think the ac was a 3kw unit of top my head.
How long did the loft conversion take roughly? I’m looking to have it done when renovating my whole house so I’ll need it done quickly
7/8 weeks.
£60K is just the conversion? Or it includes all things like bathroom fitting, custom-fit wardrobe, etc.?
This is just our part of costs.
Client supply’s bathroom and tiles and decoration.
Wardrobes were on top also.
Hope this helps.
I would say all in will cost you £90k
That's an outrageous price.
what was the ceiling height of the conversion?
Think it’s around 2.2m of top my head. Been a while since we completed it now.
is the property now worth more than £60k more?
Good question does depend on a lot of factors. Certain houses it definitely adds the investment back. But it can also be difficult to return it straight away too. But lot of our clients don’t want move or can’t find what they want. So decide to stay and improve.
@@djmooreloftconversionspeci458 great and honest answer , I am loft conversion company if 55 years and still going , now moving into London basements now
All this for 60k, really?
From our side of things yes.
Client supply’s the bathroom and tiles bout we supply the labour.
Client paints and carpets.
