It makes me mad when I hear people slagging Chuck for being a heroin addict. But they give Elvis and Prince a pass. Negron might be the best singer in my lifetime. He sang lead on all the Dogs hits. "Mama Told Me,"" Joy To the World, "" Never Been to Spain, "" Shambala, . He owned them all. And let's hear it for the three guys who wrote "Hair," including " Easy To Be Hard" I'd put it up there with the greatest musicals of all time.

Most people cannot appreciate that long, large nose with a curve that no car designer could think up- If he was my kid- stay off motorcycles and fistfights, because that nose gives off a very rare sound - risk being called a sissy
RUN!!! keep the nose intact and he won't have the girls you do.

Who didn't do a lot of drugs back then? The drugs were fantastic, inexpensive and the motivation for the dealers was to turn people on to the endless possibilities of the cosmos. You could pretty much trust most hippie dope dealers back in the days of free love.

I'm such a big fan of TDN. These guys were great in there time and their music captures a whole era and a generation transition from the Vietnam war late 60s to the early and mid 70s. I love all the guys but really liked Cory Wells, his voice, his energy, his look and his attitude are so inspiring and a pleasure to watch. His smile shows he is doing exactly what he was meant to and is living his dream. Thank God for bands and music like Three Dog

Consider the entire body of work by Three Dog Night. These go beyond masterpieces, these are timeless parables, that transcend individual beliefs.

First band I EVER saw in concert. I think I was 13 or 14 yrs old. Still remember how incredible they were. I just hit 60 yrs old. This song is as important now as it was then, if not more so. The hardest part about getting older is losing so many people you love.

First band I ever saw in concert, too. August 1970. I was about two months from my 13th birthday. They were riding high that summer, with "Mama Told Me Not To Come" reaching #1.
