Undoubtedly, "The Show Must Go On", is my all time favorite, even when I was listening to it as a kid in Brooklyn.....and most of all because, "I wasted time, wasted, wasted time...." That one line still resonates in my mind several decades later. WOW! I can definitely relate to that! Not to mention Chuck Negron's powerful sounding voice! Thank you Chuck for putting out that song during one of my toughest moments as a lost kid in Brooklyn! I'm praying for you, & may you now use your gifted talents to glorify The Lord Jesus Christ! It was a week long party in all the downtown bars. The song that resonated the backgroud to this festive time was Joy to the World. A special time, a timeless song.

I always enjoyed their cover of 'Try A Little Tenderness" which they used Otis Redding's cover as a model to arrange it by. I was surprised when my dad told it was old Frank Sinatra song. Chest Fever was a great concert song. Jimmy Greenspoon really made that Hammond B3 rumble! Three Dog Night stayed near Kissimmee, FL for a few days in the late OO's during a tour and Greenspoon came to the local public arts school and talked about music with the students. I couldn't bring myself to go to the concert they played in town, though. By that time, there were too many missing band members and I wanted to remember them the way I saw them in the '70s.

Out In the Country is my favorite. I first saw them in concert in '74 (I think). I saw Corey & Danny's Three Dog night in the mid to late 90s. I last saw Chuck when he was touring with Blood, Sweat, and Tears and I've seen Danny's Three Dog Night a couple of times lately. Each time they sounded great. I wish Danny and Chuck could join back up again.

I stumbled on the band on a night of bar hopping in New Jersey. It was right at the beginning of "Never been to Spain" and I was transfixed at what they could do to somebody else's song ! The harmonies and the great vocals backed by a very tight band was awesome and I've been a fan ever since. As with many groups, they were so hot, the flame had to burn out, and sadly it did. They were unique

I went up to Chuck Negron when I saw him in the aisle of a supermarket I was in around 2010.
I told him I loved the Live at the LA Forum cd and actually had it in my car. He was friendly and gracious
I asked if he thought they would ever reunite- this was years before Wells died. He said, “ No- it wouldn’t be good for me.” I saw him a few months later perform at a free concert for Tri-Help, the substance abuse treatment center. I thought they were too slick and plastic in their day- but have since come to appreciate their harmonies - and material- and that was Chuck.

Old Fashioned Love song--quintessential TDN! Lots of musical magic with that band--and backed up by first-rate musicians. Saw TDN for the first time in '86; but with Cory and Danny. No more bands like this one!
