I'm 60 years old now. I go back to this time as a kid. Just amazing music I grew up. No other time like it. Today's music has the appeal of gutter graffiti in comparison. This era of the 70's will never be again and I was privileged to have been there listening to actual LP's and 45's. Wouldn't have missed it for anything.

@@Laceykat66 The way leftism functions is to break down societal norms (and society as a whole) which then creates a desperation for order and moreover to be saved from "evil" in the form of anarchy. But it is the left that creates the anarchy, to then, at a later stage, be the savior from it. ( Much Like Chelsea Clinton creating an issue only to write papers later on how to fix everything---then being label "HERO"---bullshhhh--coughing). Anarchy is simply the tool and thusly the pathway to power. Total power. The autocratic kind, otherwise known as tyranny and repeated over time through out the history of the world! Cue the liberal, revisionist elites and their pompous self righteousness and virtue signalling--which kind of makes sense if you think about it. Since most of them are Godless heathens (atheists and agnostics), it only makes sense that they would try to create morality from the highly flawed character of man. Yet they keep failing throughout man's history. STUPID LIBTARDS!!!!

This song has a lot of meaning to me, not only is it from the soundtrack of my youth, but it is also where I've been heading my whole life, and I will know that I'm there, when I see the flowers in my brother and sisters eyes. If you have ever looked at an old world map, then you will know what I'm talking about. Shambhala, Mount Meru, Sumeru, Garden of Eden, back to the source, the Creator, of which we are all a part of. @@jerrimenard3092there is a city in the etheric , called Shamballa seen by the monks of Tibet. They passed the torch to the Westerners to bring it into fruition. It is aka the rising of Lemuria. Represents heaven on earth and each community will self govern about 3000 people and the world will enter a million year long golden age. Takes light from the heart, so we are all fully equipped to get through the present transition. Just show kindness to anyone you meet on this road to Shamballa💛

Marginally okay. The girls were not receptive at the discos and started to be poisoned by the marxist-feminist "movement" from Friedan and Steinam from the 60's, so that they were not that interested in a husband anymore, so how great was that? It was probably the beginning of the end for the American two-parent family, which worked for over 200 years and is necessary if you want to avoid the Walking Evil in the streets and school shootings. Fewer people were drugged in public or on "free" federal checks without doing any work for other people.

The environment to create music in the 60's and early 70's will simply never be replicated. Anyone who was alive at that time (and still is) can attest to that. Turbulent society, Cold War, missiles on the U.S. doorstep, powerful messages for artists to send and new medium with which to send that message and a generation that pushed the very bounds of what those musical mediums could bring - and fused it with the classic music of previous generations. The end result was pure listening pleasure.

Three Dog Night does this marvelously. The guy who wrote it, Daniel Moore, b. 1941, is from WA state and is still alive as of mid-Feb. 2023.
Chögyam Trungpa (Wylie: Chos rgyam Drung pa; March 5, 1939 - April 4, 1987) was a Tibetan Buddhist meditation master and holder of both the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism, the 11th of the Trungpa tülkus … originator of a radical re-presentation of Tibetan Buddhist teachings and the myth of Shambala.
Shambhala Training is a secular approach to meditation developed by Tibetan Buddhist teacher Chogyam Trungpa and his students.[1][2] It is based on what Trungpa calls Shambhala Vision, which sees enlightened society as not purely mythical, but as realizable by people of all faiths through practices of mindfulness/awareness, non-aggression, and sacred outlook.
See what the great Tulku writer (and yes, voracious drinker) Trungpa told his personal secretary to James Steinberg about Adi Da (First Give).
Yes, this song really conveys happiness.
