Thanks so much! I actually wasn’t on a list. I had to put down 5k non refundable for this specific one that came into their dealership. I waited almost 2 weeks for it to get to their dealership. I’d say get what you feel like will make you the happiest whether it be a AT or MT.
There were only two GR86s in Georgia when I got it. They were both base and white and dark blue. For some reason that Toyota dealership had like 10 brand newish supras and barely had any Civilian cars/trucks. The price for the GR86 was a lil bit high over the MSRP. I was desperate and got it. I was waiting forever to get one too. this whole covid/ manufacture shortage is kind a bless? Now it’s a rare car and I love how people break their necks when they see my car. I’ve only seen ONE gr86 in my city in north Georgia. Goes to show how rare these cars are now.
Awesome. I guess I was a one of the lucky ones because my dealer received two. One was in pavement and the other was in neptune. I walked in just this past Saturday without a deposit and snagged the neptune as the other buyer who was in 30 minutes before me decided on the pavement.

Nice I got mine in February a premium with pavement gray. The best exhaust for the money in my opinion is the Invidia N2 exhaust. I got mine installed and it has the perfect tone without being too loud. I mean I traded in my 2019 GT premium PP1 mustang fully loaded for it so that basically tells you how good it is.

I was looking for months already and this one just so happened to present itself to me so I jumped on it thinking if I wanted too I can just wrap it lol the shortages made it hard to get everything I wanted on this car so I had to settle for other options if I wanted one now rather a couple months later.

Hmmm that depends if it’s the new 350’s or the older ones. If it’s the new ones itd be a hard choice. It would come down to preference at that point. There’s big differences between the 2. Also I guess I can’t fully say cause I haven’t experienced the new 350’s either.

A guy that my nephew know bought a GR86 for over sticker. The dealer gave him 9.0% interest and he took it and the car and interest came out to be 48k. My nephew told him no, hey you’re getting kill by the interest but he said he needed a car and so he traded his 2017 Toyota corrolla and only got 8k for the trade, still the price still came up to 48k damn.
Holy crap! That’s crazy. The market has been a trip. I can tell you that my deal was no where near that high. At that point I woulda looked into a supra if anything or waited for a better deal but, it happens. Hopefully he’s happy and takes that experience with him in the future for a different outcome.
the way to do that move is, have a second approved loan at a much lower interest, but do make sure the loan can be paid off next da. I usually say playing stupid, what if I win the lotto or get inheritance, can I pay it off... And if they say yes, then move on to get the loan at 9%. Buy the car, come back in the next few days to pay off the loan with a lower interest loan. They will be pissed, but that is what they get for been ruthless.
Why is it hard to find in a Manual, the Dealership is supposed to have connections with Toyota for special request on a certain model or Transmission. This is a car enthusiast car, there should be more Manuals available then Automatics.
