Oh I am so glad I caught your notification. I am here for the journey. Girl you got this! 🎉
Yay! The blue Casio!
@@miscbs she’s still holding strong! One of my favorite (and most durable) pieces of gear
I like to guess the time before she hits the light button
Ok now you have a new follower from the other side of the world- Genoa Italy 🇮🇹
Good luck for your trail😊
New music, I like it. Already better cinemaphotography. Glad to see you back on trail.
Good luck on your thru hike Jessie. Hiking in the West is so different than the A.T. but you are going to love it!
Hike safe, Hike strong, Have fun!

Just section hiking Washington and Oregon this go around! Couldn’t commit to a full thru hike just yet - still have trauma from the AT 😂
Wife and I watched AT thru hike and we loved your hat so she bought one. You cannot hike the PCT without it. What to do girl?!?! Good luck!
Helllllll yeah. Have fun girl! Good luck!
Take that hat all the way. Whoever Andrew greaves is would probably be stoked.
@@terrypanama8004 Maybe I’ll try to track him down after the hike and send him a new hat 🤣
Baguette is certified ultralight! Happy hiking!
@@daniel_sullivan r u even hiker trash if you don’t pack out a baguette at the first town stop?!
Hey Jessie! It’s Will from Echo Ministries! Praying God freaks you out with all of the amazing scenery and that you will be protected from injury. God bless!
Enjoyed following you on the AT! I look forward to seeing your next adventure!
Have fun. Interesting see how you got out to the trail!! Best of luck.
Totally awesome, IKEA bag for travel for our backpacks! Thanks for the Pro Tip 🤙🏽
@@expatadventureturkey9324 worked like a charm!
Glad to see you back on trail. Really enjoyed your AT tromp and looking forward to this one.
I followed you on the AT and I look forward to your PCT adventure
HEY, glad to see that you back on the trail. Have fun you learned a lot from your last hike.
Stoked to watch this all unfold. I had to do the AT logistics in '22 and now I live about an hour away from some parts of it. It is definitely nice to be able to go out there whenever. Safe journey!
Best of luck
Excited to follow along again! Good luck!
I'm glad to see you're back! Best of luck to you on your new journey. 😊
this is so cool, watched your 2022 AT thru-hike every day and getting oddly nostalgic over this
@@MrHalf1000 thanks for sticking around!
Hi Jesse , Glad to see you back on the trail !
Jessie, I think you did a great job navigating all the obstacles just to get on trail!Take! See you on the vlog.
I'm looking forward to following your adventure. I'm looking at doing the same thing in 2016. Good luck!
Great to see you hiking again.
I've talked most of the cast here on set to go m out and get a blue assortment, you got support here 🤘💙
We be watching
Looking forward to following your trek to Mexico. Wishing you a safe and exciting journey.
Just section hiking Washington and Oregon this go around! I wasn’t ready to commit to another thru hike just yet lol
Wholly heck! Are you kidding me?! This has made me so happy to see! I followed your AT journey, and it helped me navigate the whole vlogging and hiking last year on my AT thru hike. I'm so excited to follow this journey. Happy happy happy!
Hey Just Try! Lost Child here, we met last year on trail. I also followed Jessie's videos in '22 as mental preparation for the trail!
@AlaniSugar Yes! I saw your summit pic! I hope all is well. I'm so excited to follow Jessie on this one.
That’s awesome! Glad I could help and congrats on the AT!!
Good luck!
Be safe; keep at it!
Tried to follow a few other hikers but wasn’t feeling it. Glad your trip has begun and will be following. Good luck.

I followed you from before you started on the AT and loved the journey, so I'll be following again - from England. May the wind always be at your back.
@@21Diddley thanks for sticking around :)
Welcome back!
@@aisle9 happy to be back :)
do the damn thang.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
🥾🥾
Good luck ! I'll bet you catch Kelly Hayes.
Do you mean Kelly Hays? If so, she is on the CDT, several days in and in a fast group.
@@philbest427 I believe Kelly’s on the CDT rather than the PCT!
You have a great base weight! What new gear are you using?
Main change was switching to a Durston x-mid pro trekking pole tent! Other than that, just a lot of small changes (switched to short sleeping pad, lighter base layers, etc.) that saved me a lot of weight cumulatively.
@@Maybe_Jessie Oh sweet! Durston had some great gear. Hope it all works well for you out there👍🏻
Someone who knows how to IKEA bag!
@@iamjoshkoop first time trying out the IKEA bag through the airport and worked like a charm!
Hey Jessie.. did you really take that dude's hat? hopefully no lice lol..
I'm looking forward to watching you on this PCT..are you going to use your AT trail name or use your Real name?
--Stone
I’m still honeybee and yes, I took the hat lol desperate times call for desperate measures
She might see Big T adventures
@@MargaretHuett haven’t actually met him yet, but I heard he was at trail magic just one day before I made it there so we’re close!
🙌🍯🐝
I guess do you get to touch the Canadian border or is there any customs stationed exactly on it at the start.
You get to touch it. You can even cross it (legally) if you get the right paperwork and are traveling Northbound on the PCT.
No customs are stationed at the border in that area.
The PCT northern terminus on the border is in a wilderness area approximately 30 miles from a road. As noted in other comment, you can legally go into Canada and to a Hwy not too far away. However, with no customs station, it is technically illegal to come in from Canada and continue south.
@@tailgunnerhikes4703 At what point though would a hiker who ventured further north into Canada (from there) start to show up on the radar, the first thought is that he or she might have to step foot on private land before reaching a road, which would technically be trespassing. Or even does border patrol roam the roads in Canada that are nearest that wilderness, even though just to get to one of those might be another 10-20 mile hike (north).
@@John572d4 There is 38 mile public trail from Harts Pass trailhead (US) to Manning Park trailhead (CA) with border crossing and monument 30 miles from Hart's and 8 miles from Manning. If one runs into Canadian official, you show your passport and declare you are not packing firearm or drugs and they say something like "Welcome to Canada." Canadians can and do hike the 8 miles up and back. However, I have no idea of the consequences of running into US border patrol or park ranger heading south and they realize you came in from CA and not doing 60 miles round trip, which a lot of PCT hikers actually do.
@@tailgunnerhikes4703 Yes though also what about at Quebec for the northern terminus of the Long Trail.
Come Malaysia marry me jessi,i ❤ you so much
Great to see you on trail again.
