Hey Sam, thanks for taking the time to comment and I genuinely appreciate the compliment. Thank you. And the black camo is pretty sweet. I LOVE the blue/purple./black one in this video but knowing me I’ll probably end-up ordering the flat black. Lol
Is the pro frame and pro frame rs the same size? I came from a large bell downhill helmet and bought a fox pro frame but the large was not a tight fit like my other helmet so I’m trying to figure out if the pro frame and pro frame rs is the same size because I’ll need to go to a size medium due to it moves if I shake my head
Hey, if I remember correctly, the Proframe runs small compared to other FOX helmets whereas the Proframe RS is true to size. I don’t have any experience with Bell helmets to comment, sorry.
Hi, that’s a very interesting question. What I can tell you is this helmet feels a little ‘weird’ compared to what you might expect with full-face helmets because there are thick cheek pads (two different thicknesses) but the adjustable BOA strap system in the back and internal padding is very thin. Moreover, to accommodate the BOA system the rear of the helmet is elongated so I’m inclined to say it might fit better for people given the extra rear space and adjustability. That said, I’m not an expert and I haven’t been trained on helmet fitment so if possible, I recommend purchasing from a retailer with a good return policy. I’ve included links in the description for such people.
Looking at the fox proframe RS helmet....My head is 23 inches exactly.....that puts me on the high end of the medium and low end of a large. Should I go medium or large? Would it be better to get a helmet where I have to tighten a lot......or loosen a lot for a good fit. I can't find a local bike shop that has these in stock to try on or I would do that first.
Hey, this is a great question. I’m not an expert on helmets so for an official response I would suggest contacting FOX directly. With that said, if I were to approach things I would purchase the smaller size. My rationale would be to minimize the possibility of movement of my head within the helmet shell so the helmet can do what it’s designed to do. With that said, I would not size-down if the helmet does not fit appropriately. Lastly, you could purchase through a retailer with a good shipping and returns policy. What country are you located in? Lastly, if you haven’t already - please consider subscribing. It would honestly help a lot. Thanks in advance.
Great video, just ordered a programme rs for myself in the black camo colour

Would round head shaped wearer have any problems with this helmet?
