- This is how to make the easiest Nigerian Chin chin from the beginning! For your Christmas parties and get togethers
Very easy and detailed.
INGREDIENTS
* 6 Cups Flour (250ml cup)
* 2 Eggs
* 200-250 gram margarine
* 1/2 Cup Milk powder flavour (optional)
* 200 Ml Liquid milk (14 tablespoon)
* 1 Cup Sugar (or reduce to 1/2 cup if you like)
* 1 tspn salt
* 1/2 tspn Baking powder
* 1 tspn Nutmeg
You can double or divide the ingredients depending on the quantity you are making.

This recipe reminds me of Italian "Struffoli" which are the tiny fried dough balls dipped in a citrus flavored honey and then have sprinkles add. They're a Christmas specialty. Makes you wonder where the recipe originated. Thank you for sharing.

I made mine but I forgot to add egg but it still came out nice but never as nice as urs. Was wondering if I forget to add something it was after I have finished frying and turn to see my crate of egg that I remembered my mistake

Less butter or margarine AND no eggs would make your chinchin strong and crunchy.
I think less or no baking powder helps to give that result too.
