    As a basketball fan, I used to say the same bust stuff about him as a kid, but now that I'm older, I realize that always more to the story and you have to give people an opportunity to speak their piece. Thank you for letting people get some insight into what went down, Kwame.

    • @thespadestable
      @thespadestable 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Kwame is the one who focused more on people saying his career was a bust, than he did pointing out that his career presented the opportunity to create opportunity and hope for others via community projects and employment, notably in his hometown. But here is the thing, he did not have anything really established, so he had nothing to point to.
      But when you have a 2003 DUI conviction, a 2007 disorderly conduct, interfering with law enforcement conviction stemming from being a passenger in a vehicle where the driver is under the influence, and has suspended license, 2019 arrest and conviction felony possession of edible marijuana products and misdemeanor possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, not to exclude having $15m stolen from you by your financial advisor that has yet to be recovered, more times than not, maybe one needs to keep a low profile and let people talk be just that....Talk.
      But as we know about current day entertainment, it's more about getting people hype your name up, than it really is about presenting substance.

      You all keep asking that dumb question? Kwame's whole internet presence is due to him being sensitive about being called a bust. How about you all asking him what has he done after leaving the NBA, because truth be told, he hasn't really done much besides going back home, stunted, and lived the life of being hood fabulous. He needed his TH-cam stardom more than a fish needs water.

      You could make a 30 minute compilation of Kobe making shots that MJ never made….. this is the most tired and overstated narrative in all of sports. Obviously Jordan was a huge influence on Kobe but Kobe was a basketball savant in his own right. Kobe was better with his left hand, a better long range shooter, had better footwork, and played against ZONE DEFENSES where guys could throw triple and quadruple teams at you. It’s much harder to score on Bruce Bowen and Tim Duncan than Larry Bird and Kevin McHale

    This what Kobe said about Kwame: "You’re going to be open again, Kwame, because Rasheed is just totally ignoring you" Kwame said, ‘Well, if I’m open don’t throw it to me.’ I was like, ‘Huh?’ He said, ‘Don’t throw it to me.’ I said, ‘Why not?’ He said, well, ‘I’m nervous. If I catch it and they foul me, I won’t make the free throws.’ I said, ‘Hell no!’
    But Kwame and yall simpletons mad when Matt, Stak and SAS call him bum, trash and a bust! Kwame LITERALLY was trash!! Why yall think Rasheed ignored him! 😂
