Yeah but Lebron played way more minutes. Getting to the finals 8 years in a row means playing all throughout the playoffs, every single round. Kobe started out off the bench, and then missed the playoffs after Shaq left and then couldn’t get out of the first round until they got Pau. Even during Lebron’s first stint with the Cavs, he made the playoffs every year after his first, and had always gone beyond the first round, meaning consistently more minutes. At this point, Lebron already played more minutes than Vince Carter (who is the oldest player in the league). Lebron’s year 16 has a lot more mileage than Kobe’s year 16.

The end of Kobe's career is a perfect example when he had the achilles injury and still shot 2 free throws when he couldn't even walk. Shaq produced more because offense was fed through him. Bosh and Wade had to play off ball with Lebron controlling the flow of offense. Big difference in how offense was played. Plus Kobe and Shaq had to be the offense, whereas Lebron could divert to 2 other stars and very solid name brand role players. There is a difference. That made offense easier for Lebron
