@sharonmerton9812 we're Kiwis living Spain. Government super is transportable but there are conditions attached to it. One of these being, you must be "normally resident" in New Zealand when you apply to transport it to a new country. The first place to start is to check what visas you might qualify for by looking at the conditions and criteria for each online. Google, for example, Retirement visa to Italy for New Zealand citizens. I also recommend checking to see if either of you has a descendancy pathway to an EU member country citizenship. Hope you enjoy and have a happy life in Italy! I am an argentine coming from an italian family and I always think how pure, authentic and lovely is the italian culture, my grandparents raised us with simple values and with lot of food haha
Very professional marketing video. Welcome to all rich retired Americans ready to renovate our abandoned houses in the mountains and spend lots of money creating jobs for Italians. But securing permission to stay in Italy is NOT easy. It can be done but you will definitely need help from a service such as this one. All bureaucratic procedures and medical services are extremely difficult and convoluted. You will need a fixer at every step of the way, on daily call. For example, after one year of residency, if you intend to drive, you must obtain an Italian driver's license. It is nearly impossible to pass the test if you do not speak very fluent Italian, French or German. The test is extremely difficult, even for Italians.
What a wonderful couple and wonderful area, Umbria is beautiful! I live in Viterbo and in one month we will be harvesting our olives. If anyone wants to come and help, we will give you some olive oil and feed you well 🥰

Hope you enjoy and have a happy life in Italy! I am an argentine coming from an italian family and I always think how pure, authentic and lovely is the italian culture, my grandparents raised us with simple values and with lot of food haha
Thanks for sharing!
If anyone wants to come and help, we will give you some olive oil and feed you well 🥰
Thanks for tuning in! Good luck with your harvest!
Be happy and enjoy life. The best things we take with us are the good memories and the moments spent together. Life is too short not to let ourselves be carried away by emotion. Planet Earth is our nation🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I met an Italian woman that took my heart and breath away. If I could go it would have been yesterday.
I commend you for following your dreams ❤❤❤❤❤. Elizabeth. Have continued love and fun and magical moments ❤

The only challenge for me in their scenario would be missing those moments with my kids and later grandkids
We couldn’t be that far away from our kids and grandkids. We were in Italy for two weeks in October, and although we’d love to go back, we just couldn’t leave them.

I live in Boston Massachusetts for now but I'm thinking moving to Italy only thing concerns me health insurance healthcare system how is it I need more information... So far I'm good and healthy 62 years old but just in case thank you
Thanks for sharing! Samantha has a really great episode on navigating healthcare as an expat, you can tune in here www.sentiremedia.com/show/anewlifeinitaly/s2-ep-7-navigating-italian-healthcare-as-an-expat/
once you get a visa the heathcare is free here! wish u the best and hope your dream to move to Italy happen soon!
It is natural that an American with good taste for beautiful and good things would think of coming to live in Italy, an American colony since 1943.
Its all great when your income is coming from the US right
I the early 70's I vagabond Europe for 1.5 years much in Italy's little villages some making me Mayor for the night to celebrate.
you took the best decision...enjoy la bella vita!+1
Benvenuti in Italia.

Nice one, but the background music is way too loud, sometimes is hard to listen to what this lovely couple saying
Thanks for sharing, it's good to have feedback for future vids!
This is my dream -- to live in Italy, the home of my entire family and where my cousins still live and THRIVE! Kudos to both of you for decision and new and bella vita! I will certainly contact Smart Move Italy!

Enjoy Tuscany and don't forget to visit Firenze, Pisa and expecially Siena during the 'Palio'..
Thanks for sharing!
Travel to visit France too!
As badly as we were treated when we arrived in the USA this is interesting …. We Italians KNOW the meaning of rich living !!
"rich living" means literally nothing
@@OtaBengaBokongomeans being able to enjoy very very little things
Sorry you were treated bad. The Italians were great to me when I took a sabbatical to Rome.
Im so sorry to hear you were treated badly when you arrived. If you make it to Portland Oregon, we’d be happy to take you out to a good lunch to show you hospitality in the US.
@@nicolettastrada5976 if you enjoy the very very very little things you end up neglecting the big big big things
Welcome to Italy, staying here is not always awesome but Italy is Italy, i can still say it's the best place to live in the world after all, despite all the problems, issues and permanent crisis. As Italian anyway i can say South France too could be a great choice, lot of similarities between us and our french cousins.
I love Italians and Italy 🇮🇹 and have visited a few times. Unfortunately I was eaten alive by bugs at a Tuscan winery this September on a scorching hot day. A few years back in May staying in a Rome monastery was attacked by bugs in my sleep 😔
Note the bug killer on the wall behind Carole.
L’italia è nel mío cuore

Brnvenuti.
Benvenuti in Italia!
Grazie!!
Our place is about 1h away from yours! We bought in the medieval town of Orte
Congrats on your place!
Great choice 😊
Good choice! 👍
You're welcome!!!
The food is healthy in Italy, mediterranean diet, people expectancy is 90 year
