This is what I love about Corpsegrinder - a man who's not afraid to say his opinions out loud, cares about his fans and protects them at shows, has a great sense of humor, cares about humanity and doesn't know the meaning of the word ignorant. Big guy with a big heart and I also should say that he's really intelligent.
He's down to Earth, he doesn't let anything get over his head like these nu metal/metalcore/deathcore bands. He knows he's just a man, and that's why he's one of my fav metal musicians ever!

The thing about metal musicians is the fact that they are able to NOT let personal life get tangled with business. A stage name is a stage name, but it matters more about WHO you are. Corpsegrinder seriously is one of the gifts that Mother Earth gave us :D

I met Corpsegrinder in Copenhagen many years ago, yes he IS that kind. I love the guy. I talked to Alex Webster as well and he was just as kind.

I have seen cannibal corpse for the first time this year, one of the best days in my life. after the most intense and brutal show, my brother and I waited for the band to come to their tour bus. then they came and gave us autographs, and george fisher is such a nice and friendly guy, I have never ever talked to a band member that nice and down to earth, I highly respect him

Rhys G Corpse Grinder is from my hometown of South Baltimore Maryland and alot of the guys I grew up with from Baltimore are like him. Easy going and down to earth. Baltimore gets a bad name because of the crime but we still have alot of good people left.

Elliot,I saw at a fort Lauderdale show cannibal,but this never happened to me I saw all 3 opening bands,but I couldn't see cannibal corpse.i was so mad.i heard only one song,and left.it was wall to wall full of people.so I didn't get to see them.i was mad as hell.they where awesome.maybe next time,if they come back to do another show.i hope they do.thanks

George is a great guy and to me, he is THE voice of CC! I’m a Marylander and it’s cool he’s the voice of the CC! I ran into George once on the boardwalk in OC Maryland many years ago. He introduced me to his dad, a fellow carpenter by trade, and was so damn cool to talk to. I remember him at Jaxx Club in Springfield, VA just hanging out in the lounge with the fans and just a complete humble dude.

It's always so satisfying when people get to see how cool and regular most of the death/heavy metal guys really are. I hate when idiots hear something like Cannibal Corpse and say " They must all be devil worshipers". Its an art form. Its not meant to be taken literally. I will never understand why its that way.
