As someone who works at Denny’s I would literally piss myself laughing if I saw Corpsegrinder playing the claw machine there, seems like such a cool dude! Huge fan 😂😂
Going back years when I got into Cannibal Corpse, I always found George just, generally a better example of a wholesome musician in the Death Metal community. He has no ego, praises his band members for writing the majority of lyrics and music, which they in turn call George out for his vocals which already killed on Vile, and just got better over time. He always makes mention of old bands and new, generally believes in a sense of community in the metal scene as well as in general, what with the donations of toys for charity. Basically, how to be a great person/musician, never take credit and let your work and attitude speak for your character. That being said, his new solo work's album cover is accurate, the undead are scared of him... ;)
The difference is George plays the machines, Corpsegrinder sings for a band.

I met George in Columbus. He was just standing there seemingly doing nothing. Just smiling. I introduced myself, we shook hands like gentlemen, and we talked about really normal stuff. I dont even remember exactly what we talked about. It wasnt that important. We were just vibin.
I live in Tampa and have met him several times at shows when he was a spectator and have said hi every time and he's always so nice

I just love George Fisher, THE PERSON. I'm not a big fan of his music or Cannibal Corpse. But I think this guy is such a fun, down-to-earth, goofy, and overall regular guy. I'd love to grab a beer with him and win some stuff on claw machines or shop at Target with him!

When I was growing up, claw machines had only 2 moves per "round", every time you put a coin in you can move once forward, once to the left and when you stop the claw drops.
Imagine my joy when I realized there are machines that let you move freely 😁
Ours were up and right, but if you held up till it hit the back wall, it would go back once. But yeah, when you let go, you pray! 🤣

As a claw machine junkie myself this is really cool to see. And I’m familiar with Ocean City’s boardwalk arcades and their claw machines. I’ll drop $100 easily in them playing these things.
I've never been much into Cannibal Corpse (grindcore/death is just not my style, I'm more of a post-metal/black/doom guy) but this guy is fucking amazing and embodies everything I love about the metal scene and most metal musicians. This guy plays claw machine to win stuffed toys for his kids and charity and buys peanut butter in Target at a 20% discount in a washed-out black T-shirt. No bodyguards, no limo with tinted windows, none of that Hollywood bullshit. He is just a straight up, approachable dude.

There is something undeniable about Corpse Grinder and Canibal in general. How a brutal death metal band penetrated the pop culture ethos just from an obscure moment in Ace Ventura, and kids wearing there album art shirts is amazing. They really are a great band. Death metal isn't for everyone, but I think any of us that are into more extreme genres of metal owe them some level of kudos, even if your not a fan currently or never were.

Been listening to CC over twenty years now. Gallery of suicide was one of the first albums I had when I was thirteen. They were always an important band for me. The reigning kings of DM if you ask me.
I love how genuine and kind George is. Just such a well rounded dude that you can tell he really cares about the people in his life. Certainly not the scary frontman your expect.

I had the chance to see CC live in NYC bafk to 2016 during the summer slaughter 2016.
George was just walking around where all the people are like, just a regular guy. I wanted a photo with him but I didn't want to bother him, he was coming down the stairs and people were like confused like "Is this real life?"
