F450 weighs more and has lower gears. Im a dodge guy but that f450 should drag the 4th gen around like a toy.

@@steveboy3021002 its more about traction. ever see the duramax pull the trailer truck backwards. that 450 has a nice lightweight aluminum bed for weight over the rear wheels. the cummins will come into peak torque faster the ford too.

Just buy a f450 and leave the 6.7 powerstroke in it. It would be cool to see you build something different and further your knowledge. You would probably also get to work with other company's. Plus then you could do a head to head against the 6.7 cummins.
This would be pretty cool video if Greg A could restrain his urge to Cummins Swap it. I own a 2016 Ford F-350 6.7L PowerStroke. I love the power and reliability of the truck.

most of these guys with diesels aren't towing anywhere near 18-20k... they're just infatuated with the perception of owning diesel and want to piss away money on repairing overly complex fuel and emissions systems. a lot of them eventually learn the error of their ways and go screaming back to gas... that 7.3 has the torque band of a small diesel without the hassle anyway
@@sly9263 You are correct. I see it all the time on the truck forums/pages. I personally own a gasser and tow a 10k travel trailer with it. Rest of the time it's my daily driver. My work trucks are both diesels and wouldn't have it any other way. They tow like a dream but again we tow almost daily soooo it makes sense.

Lol I drive a gas f250 cause I can't afford to own a diesel. That's hilarious though. Gas is fine for most people but the diesel has way more power for towing. 0-60 unloaded is like the same time. That's weird that somebody orders that nice if a truck with a gas engine.

Only diesel I've ever driven was my 94 GMC Sierra with the 6.5 detroit I'd love to one day drive a Cummins or a powerstroke but yeah my friends don't own diesel trucks x.x
