Saw a bunch of creators testing it out and I'm totally digging NEO's tracking feature，I can take it on the go with me. I'm not all that high maintenance when it comes to drones, and this little drone looks super user-friendly for us noobs that haven't flown one before😄
I went with the Promax combo pack soon as released for a pre-order, The features an quality and the whole nine yard of ProMax would swallow and spit out this little strip down 4k drone like a tornado came through, yeah is more money but if these features and quality was on that Neo , i would bet money on it, would be over $1,000 EASY, for what we getting with the Promax is a bargain Even with combo pack 🤘✌️🙏🤟❤️🌟✨
Snap Pixie had a Recall last feb because the batteries were having safety issues but in truth Snap had no plans to update or support it if you upgrade from Android 13 to 14, the drone no longer connected to your phone
I am super interested as I fear the GPS based drones have no answer to the get lost and suicide problems. I really would have liked to spend like $50 for a little better camera though. The quality level of this guy isn't quite on par with the first dji osmo. I think I would wait for the next gen or a pro version if they make one.
I saw the warning to not fly this drone over water, but thought that was just in it's auto mode. Flying mine over water with the remote and lost all control and into the drink. Not impressed.
Nature of the beast with small props spinning very quickly. It is about disc loading and the frequency from the motors. If you watch and listen to current eVTOL aircraft, they are much more pleasant in their noise signature.
It's a social media drone, not a shorts drone. You know the compression is ass on youtube shorts and tiktok? You wouldn't be able to tell the difference if i just cropped the 4k image.
@@MaNameizJeff not all 4k is created the same. I've had to scale up a 4k shot from a better drone and it wasn't so great. I've shot 4k on my smartphone and its much better due to orientation. If you're designing something geared for social media you'd think they'd cater for the most common orientation and make it as easy to shoot for social media as possible. 4k oriented well will be better than 4k that you have to scale up so it fits a 9:16 orientation unless you're preplanning that when you shoot. Which is extra work. Rather just get the Mini 3 Pro.
Haveing moved through quite a few dji drones, mavic 1, phantom4p2, phantom4pro rtk, mini3pro, m300rtk, I always want a drone without obstacle avoidance sensors because they're unreliable. But not this one. That noise is the worst I've ever heard.
Thank you for addressing the sound "problem". So far all the people I've watched are saying how quiet it is. And I was wondering, "are they deaf"??? I have the Mini 2 Se and that is quiet! This one is loud!!! Apart from that, I would buy the combo in a heart beat, if I didn't have the Se.
It is quiet when it flies a few meters away and its lower db than the mini 2 se. I use to own the mini 2 se and it’s annoying the sound is loud compared to my mini 4 pro which is much quieter.
The DJI Neo has serious AE and AWB problems that make it useless for video. It would be better to await for its secnond version with the relative improvements.
This is a blatant copy of another product already on the market for over year ago, and unfortunately is not as small of the existing product on the market .
Sorry DJI - the video quality of every Neo demo I've seen looks horrible. Artifacts, over sharpened and looks to be closer to 480 than 4k. I'll gladly pay more for the upcoming Hover Air X1 Pro if the video is better than this.
Says it has a real world battery life of 13 min while showing around 7-8 mins in the video. 13 min? Yeah sure with zero wind or indoors but outdoors most youtubers are getting 8 min max, so great for FPV and tracking but no 10km range tests! Lol

I dont mind about the noise, i find it cool. But what about mini 2se controller, work with the NEO?
I don't believe so. The controller must be running the 04 system.

I'm more interested in the "Cine-whoop" FPV experience and I guess all the needed components aren't significantly cheaper than the Avata 2 combo.

controller range: 6 miles in the US and 2.7 miles in Europe ? So radio waves travel less in Europe? 😁😁😁

Yep. Night and day difference when I saw footage from the Mini 3 and Mini 2 SE (with TH-cam compression).
The video footage had a lot of artifacting. I don't think I'd want to use this, even for just social media.

It's really not. Change your quality settings on TH-cam to 1080p or higher and you'll see that the video quality is pretty dang good

The X1 pro has an incredible camera
