There's this argument that several interveiwees raised that the Israeli army is the most moral in army in the world. Where does it originate? Does it have any backing, or is it just a meme?
They actually describe themselves that way
It's because they take measures to protect civilians that other armies don't.
Israeli propaganda that's where it originated
@@captainbeefheart5815 Yet they butcher them.
Maybe it isn't working that well. Or it's a lie.
go watch Ryan McBeth. Just an insight into Ryan, he works as an independent intelligence analyst for many companies across the globe. He will explain what rules Israel follows and what measures they take to protect human life in conflicts. Hamas uses the same tactics as ISIS, they use human shield. Hamas is even worse in the sense that they even dress as civilians in order to create a fierce public response from the west, its always been like this for the past 15 years, and there is absolutley documented cases of them using hospitals, mosques, schools, and colleges as weapon storage and terrorist activity, and according to the geneva convention any of this targets can be considered a military target. Put Russia or the USA in Israels place, and ask yourself how they would behave?

I'd say Israel are definitely winning by metrics of war. If they wanted to they could keep Gaza and push them all out IF THEY WANTED. I bet we'll see that they don't do that. They'll knock out the terrorist organisation that governs there, and someone like Jordan or Egypt will likely be asked to step in, then they'll form another authority in time. Because it is stolen by Hamas
Why did the UK cut off food and water to grrmany in ww2?
@@dogbert52 Didn't UK colonized many people before ww2?
Israel is not obliged to provide water and electricity to the Gazans. The billions of dollars in aid over the years could have been used to build infrastructure for water and electricity. It's OK to admit to feeling this way. Nearly all Jews in the world are descended from refugees who went either to the United States or to Palestine/Israel. I think there are a lot of Jews in the United States quietly thanking their ancestors right now for turning that way instead of the other. No one EVER explains how the most highly-secured and technologically advanced, monitored border on the entire planet, somehow allowed a border breach that lasted, according to the IDF, for almost 7 hours before Israeli border control, police or the Israeli army responded. Even members of the IDF border control have stated emphatically, that even if a cat, bird, or other animal breached the border, alarms would be set-off and an armored IDF team would respond and be onsite within a few MINUTES of the breach, regardless where it took place.
You sound like a conspiracy theorist.
Not to mention the fact that Egypt warned them 3days before. Yet, they ignored it!!
Even if Israel let them in, doesn't change the fact that thousands of gazans including so called "innocent" civilians gleefully slaughtered over a 1,000 jews in cold blood. And kidnapped over 200 more.
thank you, yes, I have another question, maybe you have an answer. It is known that IDF responded to this event by calling planes and tanks which shot at everything that moved, these were the orders, some of the teams involved hesitated but that was the overall strategy to handle this breach. So the answer for that is: yes. It has already been working, Hamas and it's infrastructures today is extremely much weaker than what is was before October 7. He was philosophising on how violence even occurs.
Nope. What he is saying is just hasbara that he is repeating because it sounds so evolved, like “yo, I’m so deep, bro…”. Any army that just stood by with means to stop the genocide and didn't, is by definition less moral.

Ever heard of ‘child soldiers’?
Thousands of boys and girls are used as soldiers, cooks, spies and more in armed conflicts around the world.
Two child soldiers in South Sudan stand with their backs to the camera, arms wrapped around each other, in 2018.
Thousands of children are recruited and used in armed conflicts across the world. Between 2005 and 2022, more than 105,000 children were verified as recruited and used by parties to conflict, although the actual number of cases is believed to be much higher.
Often referred to as “child soldiers,” these boys and girls suffer extensive forms of exploitation and abuse that are not fully captured by that term. Warring parties use children not only as fighters, but as scouts, cooks, porters, guards, messengers and more. Many, especially girls, are also subjected to gender-based violence.
Children become part of an armed force or group for various reasons. Some are abducted, threatened, coerced or manipulated by armed actors. Others are driven by poverty, compelled to generate income for their families. Still others associate themselves for survival or to protect their communities. No matter their involvement, the recruitment and use of children by armed forces is a grave violation of child rights and international humanitarian law.
The Democratic Republic of Congo, Somalia, Syria and Yemen currently have the largest number of child soldiers. Not all child soldiers are boys holding guns. Many girls are also used by armed forces and groups across the globe, including in Afghanistan, Colombia, the Central African Republic, Nigeria, South Sudan, Syria and Yemen.
What stands out here? The vast majority of the countries with child soldiers are within the scope of Islamic conflicts..
There are definitely different values about human life and children…
United Nations Watch is deeply concerned by Palestinian Authority (PA) and Hamas recruitment and use of Palestinian child soldiers in violation of international law, including inter alia the Geneva Conventions and Additional Protocols, the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and its Optional Protocol on the involvement of children in armed conflict, which the Palestinians joined in 2014, and the Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC), which they joined in 2015.
Both the PA and Hamas routinely indoctrinate Palestinian children to aspire to martyrdom through armed confrontations with Israel. According to Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), "the PA operates a systematic and institutionalized policy and program to recruit child soldiers/terrorists." In its reports to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on this issue, PMW accused the PA of indoctrinating Palestinian children to admire and emulate terrorists and noted that "The PA openly admits, that the child terrorists are not acting in a vacuum, but rather they consider them to be the PA's soldiers who the PA has sent to carry out a mission."
Examples of Palestinian and Hamas incitement include:
•PA television (TV) broadcast quizzes children on songs with "value and meanings" which PA considers expression of Palestinian "national identity." One of the songs depicts Israel as the "enemy" and encourages armed attacks: "I'm coming with my rifle... I'm coming towards you, my enemy... with cleavers and knives." (January 2021).
•Official PA TV children’s program commemorated cartoonist Naji al-Ala, by sharing several cartoons encouraging violence among children, including one where Fatima (Palestinian woman cartoon character) presents an AK47 to Handala (the Palestinian refugee cartoon character) and one of her handing rocks to children. (August 2020).4
•Fatah Facebook page promotes child soldiers by sharing video of Jordanian boy in military uniform holding slingshot and rifle. He wants to "shoot Jews" who killed terrorist Omar Abu Laila (killed Israeli soldier, stole his weapon and shot to death Israeli father of 12). (February 2020).
•Hamas TV children's program interviews young children dressed in military fatigues. One child says he wants to be an engineer when he grows up "so that I can blow up the Jews." I am an American. We must stop all aid to Israel forever. We have helped create this mess. We must stop assisting it.
I've followed this conflict for 22 years and care deeply about it. There has always been polarization, but after Oct 7 it's worse than ever. It's sad to see the complete lack of empathy for the other side's civilians (and this goes for many on both sides). Perhaps that's what happen to many people affected by war, that many become extremely one-sided and only see one's own side. That's understandable in a way, but it's dangerous when people start generalizing over a whole population and justifying either terrorism or war crimes. Hamas committs nothing but war crimes and Israel committs war crimes in Gaza as well. The IDF has loosened its' policy of how many civilians are "ok" to kill as collateral damage (see +972's report about it). I do understand harsh views from both sides. That doesn't mean I excuse them.

Hamas appeared in 1987, but Israel was established in 1948. Palestinians have been under brutal occupation for 76 years. Gaza was under complete siege for 17 years . I'm a centrist when socio-political matters are presented to me. I'm 34. Not 24. Not 14. I'm 34. I've made it this far in life and I personally have both seen and been through enough b.s /inter-personal conflicts of my own to fully know now that there are no absolutes when digging into root causes. Everyone is doing their part to either feed-in or not feed-in into any given situation that has the possibility to intensify into all-out conflict. I'm biased as hell when giving my thoughts on both what I think Israel and Palestine (socially) are doing and/or are continually oriented as that, as long as the 2 are not gonna do some internal changes/tweakings to how they've been shaping the collective mindsets of the populations inherent to them, then its gonna be the same-old/same-old.
In a nutshell, Israel, y'all ain't anymore 'important' of a people to be mandating/lobbying Western-allied nations for ongoing monetary aid/militarized security to fund your sense of futurity. Y'all need to survive on your own. But Palestine, I'm sorry, you need to drop the militant-Islam/ or better, just strive for secularity and broaden your spiritual/religious horizons and realize Islam/the 3 major Abrahamic religions are not the only 1s out there.
Do I think these simple corrections will be made in the next 5-7, 10- 15 years? Maybe. But if the observable outcome(s) is just more Palestinian deaths and tighter Israeli-security/monetary-aid given by Western nations, then clearly I know my 'centrist' opinions don't matter when over here in the states/throughout the West, it's 'hip' or 'based' to either proclaim team-Israel or team-Palastine.

In this video, after Hamas started a war by targeting Israeli civilians, most Israelis (some of them are fighting in Gaza) said that the IDF is not targeting civilians and that they want to eliminate the terrorists. Yet the same people who said Palestinians have a right to violent resistance against civilians say that the Israelis dehumanize the Palestinians by accepting civilian casualties in a war.

Indonesian humanitarian volunteers are still providing direct news from the field in the Gaza Strip, both in the north, center and south. They don't realize that what they do now will have an impact on them in the future. There has been too much suffering, pain, trauma, sadness, patience in the hearts of the Palestinian people for decades. The truth is that Israel has hastened the end of their own story without them realizing it.
You really think israel is going anywhere?
if Palestinian Arabs want to END their suffering, their pain, their trauma, and their sadness..
all they have to do is IGNORE ISRAEL and move on with life. Gaza could have totally ignored Israel, recognized it, and renounced all claims to territory outside Gaza and stopping firing murderous missiles and inciting pro-holocaust, genocidal revanchist irredentist rhetoric.
Because they did this, it caused a war that now has caused them to physically suffer that they would not have if they had ignored Israel and moved on with life.
The change has to come from within Palestinian Arab society.
¡Gracias!
Saying that Israelis are defending themselves and they attacked no one is like saying thar a psychopath narcissic raping a victim since 75 years old has the right to defend himself against his victim
The words you use are very telling about your mentality.
@@dogbert52 it is the international law saying that every occupied people has the right to resist military against the occupier. So blame the international law
@Rachelforpeace1 you are a Rachel for peace or for genocide, apartheid, occupation and colonization because Israel do all these kind of animals behaviors
