I'm also a Christ follower, and linguist, and I also learned Arabic. I had a love for Arabs - and the Palestinians - before I ever had any real connection with the Jews.
But, just by reading the Bible, God gave me a growing love for the Jewish people. And I started to learn Hebrew, hoping to go to Israel one day, to meet both Jews and Arabs.
    Then, October 7 happened.
And I was shocked by how quickly people turned *against Israel* - the country that had just been attacked.
Of course I'm horrified at the deaths of Palestinian children and civilians. But it is clear that Hamas are the ones responsible.
    They *planned* this carefully.
It is clear to me that Palestinian children would be so much better off without the murderous Hamas regime, that has given them only hatred and death.

I was also pro-Pal, riding the coattails of some outspoken people I looked up to in the media. After Oct 7, 2023 I started to ask questions about the Israeli side so I could make a proper judgement.
I learned about the centuries of Islamic teachings against non-Muslims and especially their hatred of Jews. Many are taught to glorify war to appease their god. Now I pray they stop teaching their children such evil. If they learn to live in peace with their neighbours things would be much better for them, Israel wouldn't need such strong defenses and the Gazans would live and prosperity. Muslims are truly victims of evil teachers and leaders who are sacrificing them for their politics.
I also learned about the very legal land partition by the British and allies who had gained control of the Palestinian land through their victory over the Ottomans. I learned that Israel gained more land afterwards through successful defense against many Arab aggressions and sometimes through legal purchase. There is no illegality about Israel's existence nor in its defense of its land and people. I stand with Israel.

If you're interested and haven't done so yet, you can also read about the MENA countries who were Arabized and Islamized by force during the Arab imperial conquests.
Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Morrocco, Yemen and other weren't Arab countries. Iran wasn't Muslim.
Israel is pretty much the only one that managed to decolonize itself from this barbaric culture and religion and the country belongs again to its ancestral people, the Jews.
22 Arab countries and over 50 Muslim countries, but their problem is a tiny Jewish country that's even smaller than it supposed to be.
If the world wasn't so upside down, they'd be talking about countries who have actual Apartheid in them, like Kuwait and Lebanon for example.
They'd be talking about the actual famine that's been happening in Yemen for years, they'd be talking about what Assad and his soldiers are doing to their own people. Does anyone remember the video that went around of the poor guy who was buried alive for refusing to say "there is no God but Bashar"?
They'd be talking about girls in Muslim countries who are forcibly maimed in their private parts to keep them "pure".
They'd be talking about "honor killing", about the murderous Islamic Regime that took over Itan and is torturing and killing the Iranian people. They'd be talking about the Taiban trying to make women disappear while their own daughters are getting an education in foreign countries.
They'd be talking about the Palli educational system that's indoctrinating children to kill Jews with the promise of getting into Heaven for it.
      But no Jews no news

Well, nobody told you but Spain was under Muslim rule for 600 years. In that Spain there lived Muslims, Christians, and Jews side by side.
Do you have any idea why there were no Jews (and Muslims) left after the Reconquista?
      a) They had fled.
      b) They were forced to convert to Christianity.
      c) They had been killed.
Hint: There’s more than one correct answer.
Where had the Jews gone? Where did they end up for the next 500 years, being a significant and respected part of society?
      a) North Africa and the Middle East
      b) America
      c) Europe
Where did the Holocaust NOT happen?
      a) Eastern Europe
      b) North Africa and the Middle East
      c) Western Europe

@@raibilrei Well, based on Islamic teachings Muslims are okay with increasing by the sword, doing taqiyya until they are in a position to ambush and overthrow the non-muslims, and revising history to persuade their devotees and others to their tyrannical political/religious cause.
I don't see this being the case for either Jews or Christians. So far as I know, within the Jewish and Christian faiths we are taught to live in peace with others though it's legal for us to defend oneself, family, property and lands as well as, never bowing the knee to such evil as Islam.
Therefore when it comes to history telling, I think, 1 Jew or Christian is worth more 10,000 Muslims. I choose the cow.

I wouldn’t necessarily even call it “Arab propaganda” at this point. The Arabs are aligned with Israel on this one. It’s the western left that’s pushing the propaganda. Time and time again the act emotionally and make things MUCH worse. All they’re doing now is incentivizing Hamas to take suffering in Gaza to the max. Had they all just shut up or blames Hamas this war probably would’ve ended months ago with far fewer civilian deaths. This is what they do on every single issue though. Just look at the numbers of blacks killed in the inner cities before and after the BLM protests/riots. Their defund the police movement is directly responsible for thousands upon thousands of black men, women, and children being killed unnecessarily. Then they open the border and force Americans to compete with millions of non-citizens on housing vouchers for rent. That’s why housing costs are insane and you mix in the crime and the massive terror attacks that are now a forgone conclusion and the suffering these people inflict for the sake of virtue signaling is just staggering. Then on the border Democrats hit Trump relentlessly for “family separation”. Media failed to mention that he inherited that policy from Obama because according to the UN the US/Mexico border is the “global capital of human trafficking”. They’d separate the kids from adults, conduct interviews and DNA tests, and then reunite them. Both Trump and Obama did this to protect the kids from being sold into sexual slavery or as manual labor - which is not a unique occurrence. Then Biden/Harris came in and knowingly did away with all of those policies. The result? Watch Robin Dunn-Marcos’ testimony. They lost hundreds of thousands of kids. They sent dozens to a single warehouse in Georgia, dozens more to an open field in Michigan where police reported children screaming in pain. They’ve found them on child porn sites and work as slave labor. They admit to having no clue where hundreds of thousands of these kids are. All for what? Because they knowingly tried to pressure Trump into removing a policy that he inherited from Obama for partisan reasons even though they knew doing so would put countless children at risk. These same Hamas protesters were fully behind that decision as well. At every conceivable opportunity these people ALWAYS choose the path of virtue signaling only to cause MUCH more human suffering than otherwise would have occurred. It’s infuriating.

My late uncle, Chaim Leitner, fought in Israel's War of Independence. He recounted that the Jews had actually asked the Arabs _to stay_ ! But within one night, many quickly disappeared. (I remember reading a similar account in a May 1948 issue of Time.)
The warring Arab countries (Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and Jordan) and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem (Haj Amin al-Husseini) called on the Arabs in Israel to leave, and join the neighboring arab armies to "push the Jews into the sea". (These were the Grand Mufti's very words.) Many Arabs in Israel heeded the call. They were *not* forcibly expelled, as the popular (but false) narrative goes.

One huge reason these Palestinian refugees ended in unfortunate circumstances is because some arab nations that wanted to invade israel asked the arabs in israel to evacuate israel untill its being concorde. Of course we know that never happened, israel won all wars by defending itself, and these arabs have been left out and been refused citizenship in any of the countries involved such as Lebanon Syria jordan ect.
Hence the reason why these Palestinians are in the state they are in, unlike some of the arabs that decided to stay in israel and as a result live in equal rights to any other citizen in israel. That is the bitter truth.

From what I've read, historically the Gazans were hooligans and always a menace to all the societies in the middle east, especially Jordan wanted nothing to do with them and deported them due to their terrorist Islamist ideology, same Egypt to a degree. Saudi Arabians still fight radical toxic Islamists inside their own borders by arresting them & locking them away from their society. The Jewish have been too nice & optimistic about the bloodthirsty Gazan ideology, thinking that with enough patience & inclusion they would change their ways..... Europe, the UK US and rest of the world will soon face the same consequences.....

In the 80's I never ever heard anyone talking about "pro-Palestinians", I lived on and off in Jerusalem and thought the soldiers were bad and the "poor Palestinians" were victims. I talked with soldiers even about the "poor poor Palestinians" and defended the Palestinians constantly. At some point I started to think differently(thank God) and different events opened my eyes and my mind.

As an Israeli I find it interesting how we can never seem to get the gist of the conflict across to the "other side" despite a plathora of facts that counteract their core assumptions about the conflict.

@@zivzan Well, one thing was that I had a Palestinian boyfriend, whom I even married but divorced a year later. That's a different story, but while I was his gf I was allowed to be with him and his friends a lot, we spent lots of time together and I could understand a lot of Arabic and his friends used to talk about how they all been in prison for short amounts of time, because they had violeted rules like throwing stones and not having their documents on and working without permission and "small" violations, and they talked about it proudly, as if it was something to achieve...my bf had never been in prison so he was quiet and apparently felt outside when the others talked or bragged
about their experiences. One had the "best" story to come with; his close relative was the one behind the bomb at Jaffogate. I was quite shocked from how they spoke so openly about these things. Another thing was the lazynes; no one seemed to care about education, no one had dreams or a goal, it was as if their minds vere set on beeing Palestinians was their only purpose. I met two very nice, welldressed young Palestinians who were hairdressers, they were SO different, they talked about starting their own shops in Europe and how they had their minds set on a competition for hairdressers that they had to work hard for to get a chance to participate. They did not come with us anywhere, they believed they had chances for a better life. My story is so long, I ended up with an Israeli man and he knew I had a soft spot for the Palestinians, at that time, and he said he will not say anything bad about them other than that they are the laziest people of all..

Anybody going against Israël 🇮🇱 is against God and His creation.
Either you are with Israël 🇮🇱 or you are with its ennemies AKA the devil.
May our God, The Only God, The God of Jesus-Christ, save and protect Israël 🇮🇱 and the christians of the world meantime the jews at last come to Jesus-Christ (Yeshua), The Son of God, The Only Savior of the jewish people.
I also hope that our jewish brothers and sisters will very soon finally stop rejecting Christ as they did put Him on The Cross 2024 years ago, for the sake of their deliverance.

I really must say thank you to all Christians for your unwavering support of Israel. Further , my admiration for the lady in the video is profound. The argument she has against her former "pro-Palestinian" views is that there were Jewish refugees forced out of Arab countries in 1948 as well as Palestinian refugees forced from their home by the Israelis. As far as I know the reasons for the movements of Jewish communities from Arab countries into Israel in 1948 are disputed by historians, but even were it true that there was equal force in both cases, the point of the designation of persons as "refugee" is that they desire to return to the place from whence they were expelled and that they are currently prevented from doing so. This is definitely the case with the Palestinians in Gaza and on the West Bank. Is the same true of the Arab Jews? Are there thousands of Israeli Arab Jews and their descendants, expelled from say, Iraq, or Egypt, Syria or Lebanon in 1948 who desperately want to return to resume their lives in those countries?

    • @Poisonshady313
      @Poisonshady313 วันที่ผ่านมา

      What you're saying is nonsense.
Being forced to leave by conflict or persecution is all it takes to be a refugee. The desire to return has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with anything. The Jewish refugees stopped being refugees when they became Israeli citizens.
The Arab refugees that call themselves Palestinian are only still refugees because they stubbornly refuse to be resettled anywhere else and they also refuse peaceful coexistence after the surrounding Arab nations failed to ethnically cleanse the Jews from the land in 1948.

    • @bataween1
      @bataween1 9 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

Jews were driven from Arab countries by violence, by state-sanctioned persecution. They were stripped of their rights and their property by regimes which considered them 'the Jewish minority of Palestine'. The Arab states remain as hostile to the Jews as the day they left.

    • @timhume4696
      @timhume4696 4 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

@@Poisonshady313 Thank you for your reply. I am puzzled by your reference to my contribution as 'nonsense'. Are you saying that refugees in general should not wish to return to their homeland and just put up with their lot? If the Jewish Arab refugees "stopped being refugees" because they now desire to be Israeli citizens (a desire that is at the essence of Zionism), the Palestinian refugees on the other hand do not accept the loss of their homeland and were never consulted about the partition of their country to create a Jewish state within it in the first place. It seems to me that such a view is quite natural for any Palestinian refugee and is supported by international law, resolutions of the United Nations, etc.
It is therefore the official view of the world in general that the Palestinians have the right to return to their homeland in what is now Israel and are only prevented from doing so by the Israeli state. International law would also assert the rights of Jewish Arabs to return to the lands of their origin if they so wish. Jewish people have the right to live in every country where non-Jews are the majority and this will be forever the case as long as humane societies exist.
The segregation of peoples into different nations according to whatever religion they adhere to would be not only monstrously inhumane, but also the cause of a never ending cycle of wars and genocides, as the current situation in Israel/Palestine illustrates.
