The fact that they can make these ozarks, export them, sell them for that amount and presumably still make a small profit, proves that benchmade knives are way overpriced.

Thank you for the kind words Dennis! I tried to be as fair as possible. Who knows in the long run there may be a big difference the other way! But I doubt it. Right now the OT is my choice hands down!!!
Corn Bread, being a one hundred percent Cajun who has been carrying a pocket knife since I was five years old, now nearly sixty years latter and of course being a massive hunter, trapper, fisherman both fresh & saltwater and have cleaned from a spotted bass to a sixteen foot alligator to a nine foot bull shark all must have the most durable edged cutting tool. I only purchase the very best knives for my life can depend on it, the most expensive one i ever purchased is a Chris Reeves "Sebenza 31" for around $450.00 USD. Comparing this Ozark D2 for $9.63 to a four hundred and fifty dollar knife is truly incredible. A Wal-Mart Chinese knife that really is more comfortable in hand, much quicker in opening, holds a edge and cost only 2% of the cost of the Chris Reeves. For what the Sebenza cost you could buy 45 Ozark knives. Well for one sure thing I learn my lesson on not ever again buying a knife for more than ten dollars, better late than never!!!
Ozark Trail knives are on a rack by themselves. But this one was in the glass case along with the more expensive stuff. My local Walmart received just one. They said more are due this week. Nice handling. Good feeling. The color is not too bright.
Yep, I got two from one of my local walmarts. They were both at the counter, I got both one in the box and the other one was the display. Got a dollar off the display, so $8.97 for one and $9.97 for the other.
I agree with you…is the Bugout worth that much more…no! It’s just a knife. I like mine, but I paid $100 5 years ago. I did a comparison video this morning with the Bugout and Blue assisted opening Ozark Trail! Bugout is to expensive
My cousin told me that my local Walmart has a bunch of those blue assisted opening Ozark trails! When I get back in town, I’m gonna pick one or two up! Thanks Randy. I hope you have an awesome day, brother!😁👊🏻
I actually handed one of my other knife nerd friends an OT "Dropout" and said "don't look at the brand, don't pay it any mind", told him it's D2 steel, and to get a feel for it, and tell me how much he would pay for it and how much he thinks the market would price it at. He said he could see himself paying ~30 bucks for it, but could see the industry charging upwards of 50+ for the knife... Shoulda seen the look on his face when I told him it was a 10$ Walmart knife.
You do great job putting a knife through its paces. Really helpful video for anybody thinking about purchasing either of these knives! Loved the video!
Yes sir! I really like the Bugout! I wish they offered it at a more affordable price for what ya get! The blade is awesome though! I honestly thought the Bugout was going to outshine the Ozark Trail when I started!
To be very honest with you never had any use for bench made knives. I can’t let go what they did to the gun industry. Also, their prices are ridiculous. I’m a Buck guy and Kershaw USA made knives but I did purchase one of these Ozark Trail and I have to say I love it. Have a blessed day.
I've been sharing this everywhere to let everyone's viewers know that this thing's an anomaly. I've done 3 different cardboard slayer sessions on these things. First one was good for 7 hours of nonstop cuts, second knife went 6 hours before I couldn't go any more that night, and a new hand sharpened and polished edge on knife #2 went EIGHT hours and still wasn't 100% wiped out. The coating held up, the pivot held up, the action held up. I don't understand it, D2 usually lasts 4 hours before it gives up. Again, just passing the live stream results so your viewers have some more info on these guys.
I own both , I love my Bugout….. but I’m also really liking the Bugout “killer” only had it a couple days. I so far have determined they both are excellent knives and both worth about $50 bucks. Makes me feel like I should have had a birth control pill before I bought my benchmade. I love it but way overpriced, the killer is priced right and I’m loving it so far. I wish it wasn’t made in china but I like it. Make America Great Again !!!!!!
I don't buy benchmade because besides being overpriced. They donate to Actblue. They gave thousands to gun grabbers and democrats. You can look up their donation history. Just FYI.
I’m exactly the same! That’s why I do pocket slips and sheaths on so much of my good stuff. Makes it harder to lose them! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment buddy! I really appreciate ya!😁👊🏻
Totally fair review. I have a bunch of Benchmade knives that I love, have a Bugout which I purchased 5 years ago for around $110, but I just don't see how they can compete. Brand recognition is powerful but given the overall economy they will fail, which is sad. Maybe they need to fire the assistant to the assistant of the marketing assistant and just focus on building great knives at reasonable prices.
I think Benchmade has some internal issues and they need to stop mixing business with Woke politics. Thanks a lot for watching and leaving a comment! I appreciate it!!👊🏻😁
I picked up four of those OTs. Three are still sitting in my knife drawer. I've been carrying one for three or four weeks and it does pretty damn good with what I have thrown at it so far. Still sharp as it was out of the package. Been cutting paper, cardboard, opening boxes, blister packages, heavy plastic bags with the twine reinforcement, string, small rope, cut up old t-shirts for rags, and sharpened a few pencils. I even cut through a soda can just to see how well it would do. It was like cutting butter in death valley in early August at high noon. I may have missed a few things it has been used on so far. Bench Made? Not even a consideration to me after handling a few. Way over priced. The only knife I own that is over $100 is my Victorinox Swiss Champ. But I got it on sale for $65. And yes, it is a genuine Vic.
I agree with you on the real use of a knife is to cut not to use as an impact tool!!! I will choose $9.97 every time! Thanks for making an honest review!
Absolutely excellent video today brother Mike 👍!!!!!!! I believe this is one of the best videos I've seen on this knife!!!!! I believe it is a true and honest review, many thanks brother 🙏 Hope y'all have a awesome weekend and GOD bless!!!!
That’s the primary goal! If your at work a zip tie or bag of concrete doesn’t ask you the brand of the knife! If you are defending yourself I don’t think the adversary cares if it’s a Benchmade or Ozark trail.
I like certain Ozark knives but my Walmart didn't have this one.. Before I started hanging out in the knife community I was seeing them make better knives and I've noticed some Ozark trail knives and multi tools are behind Walmart glass now with crazy prices higher than the regular price usually is 🤷 but yeah I'm not paying that much for a Benchmade or that's just me so I'm glad to see good budget knives being made. Heck $175 I can buy some gold or ounces of silver and save money and watch that investment make money or be used as bartering if needed and stick with the great vintage knives and the new great budget knives under $100😉 Good little video cornbread ✌️😎
I think you have been fair in your comparison. I bought 2 of the copies from wish before I found a used Bugout. It made it hard to understand the price difference. The Ozark Trail reinforces that. The OT having bearings is part of what makes it a little thicker. I’ve had mine over a week and I would like 3 things to be different. The thumb studs are longer and the edges of the machining are sharp. The same for the screws in the cross bar lock. I suspect that there may be some replacements out there to fix that. The end of my pocket clip has a hot edge on it as well. The end of the OT clip sticks up farther as well and I got a clip into the paint on a car once that stuck up like that. May have been on a Frost. How much would an OT with S30V cost? Carbon Steel? I think you will start seeing Mod videos and aftermarket parts pretty soon. Great Video!
You make some great points buddy! A lot of those changes can be done with a few hand tools. I think we will see changes to these knives with all the feedback that is out there! We will likely see an improved version coming soon!
I was waiting for your video comparison on the Ozark trail and the Benchmade bug out Im surprised how well The Ozark trail did. The one I’ve sharpen for my son several times in a two week period does not stay sharp probably just got a bad one. Great honest review When you said DBK starting the tip test craze actually Lynn Thompson from Coldsteel started that over 20 years ago with his proof videos, tip test strength and lock test strength among other Extreme testing. have a great weekend and a blessed day.
Thank you brother! I appreciate you watching brother! I used the knife for about 2 hours pretty hard! But like I said in the video it will take some time using it to see how it does long term! I might need to do a long term video cutting cardboard and such as a follow up!?!?🤔 Have an awesome and blessed video brother!!!
Cornbread, great review brother!! I think you did a great job testing these two.. Just for me, there were minor issues with the Ozark trail that could have turned into major issues.. my lock mechanism did not work correctly when I got it.. and even sometimes now, if I flip it open a lot, it will hang up a bit. It's still a great knife for $10 but compared to my bugout, the OT is not as refined in some areas, such as the lock mechanism, milling on some parts, and smoothness of operation. Again, I really like both knives. Great video and testing, loved it!! Jam up and jelly tight as they would say!!! BTW, I can afford to buy another OT but I can't afford another bugout.. LOL..
I’m looking forward to finding them back in stock brother! I want to grab a couple more. I asked Mickey if he cleaned or lives on the one he sent me and he said he didn’t. I hope you have a fabulous and blessed day!🙏👊🏻😁
@@Hunting4Hookers Yeah, I might pick up another as a GAW some day.. It's a great knife. Their best one so far I think.. I've bought a lot over the years... LOL..
I have the exact same Benchmade bugout, color and all, along with the $10 Wugout, and I am impressed with the Ozark Trail knife! Wugout is what everyone is calling it.
Your opinion on the price of the actual Bugout is on par with pretty much every other review I’ve seen with these 2 compared. To the guys that got them early when they first came out, $89.99-$100 was the norm. Now, it’s essentially double that. I know that prices have increased across the board, but Marine X had a great comparison on his channel about the price increase of the Bugout versus the other flagship models from other manufacturers (I think he compared the Bugout, Squid and Paramilitary 3). As far as the Ozark Trail, I bought 2. One I’ve been carrying for the last week and the other one I’m going to give to my dad to replace his tired Milwaukee Fastback tanto. I think for $10, these will be put through their paces by carpenters, plumbers, painters and electricians. While I know a few people in that profession that would use their $200+ folders for scraping, prying, etc. most are using Walmart mark down Kershaws or similar.
Best knife companies IMO are Montana and Tops knives..own a handful from each and they are INCREDIBLE…fixed blades though, super sharp, holds an awesome edge and indestructible
I don’t have any Montana. I would like to grab one of a Knives of Alaska. I have 2 Tops knives and love em! I traded off my Tops Mountain lion. It just wasn’t me.
Thanks a lot, Ronald. I really appreciate that! I appreciate you guys who are always around, watching the videos and leaving comments! Y’all are the ones who make the channel go 😁👊🏻
Im getting 50 of them &painting a butterfly on the blade & setting up a stand in front of BM store. Dk if I should charge $15 for the knife with custom artwork or $500.the guy at BM can probably help me slap a fair amount on them. He is dam good with numbers. & logos.
You can dye the scales with RIT fabric dye, just follow the directions on the dye box or bottle, you don't even have to take the knife apart. Just be sure to lube it after you are done. I did two in black and two in dark brown today and they look fantastic!!!! When I can get more of them I am going to do some in green and and some in navy. You can find examples on the budgetkblades subreddit.
I got one last week. It has a very ‘sticky’ action; It won’t flick all the way open and won’t close all the way without having to press on the back of the spine. But it’s $10🤷♂️ It was sharp enough to slice standard printer paper but not sharp enough to slice its own Walmart receipt without tearing. But it’s $10🤷♂️ Then my wife stole it to cut foam boards for Halloween crafts. So I went back to my Kershaw crown I’ve been carrying for more than five years.
I tried to order one online only to have it cancelled. Stopped in my local Walmart and seen one in the display case. I think I might of gotten the last in package one. Was just in there again today and the display one was gone
Really enjoyed your testing of both knives, although I don't think my hands/arms would be able to take the pressure, unless I was using an actual lightsaber! For me, the Bugout is just out of my price range for a knife I want to carry every day. The OT may not be quite up to the overall quality of a Bugout, but if I can buy 10 or 15 of them for the same money, who cares? It breaks, gets lost or stolen, then I drop by the local Walmart and pick up a new one, no sweat (assuming they'll eventually actually have them in stock, knock-on-wood). As you said, a knife is a tool, if it can do the job it's designed for, then anything else is just gravy on top. And while I like gravy, I'm not willing to pay THAT much for it!
This 10 buck knife has gotten so much hype Walmart's warehouse and stores have been completely emptied out. Have to wait for the next boatload to come in.
Great video cornbread! I really enjoyed watching this one and I loved that ending lol. It’s orange 🤣🤣 yea it is!! I knew it would hold up and how cool it was going to be. I can’t wait to get mine
Well cornbread I appreciate the video. I do own both pocket knives. I suppose it can be reduced in my opinion to Guess jeans or Levis. The value is in the name. Maybe I’m way off 😁. Good work buddy but a tough one too. Glad you touched on the pocketknife reality and plain ol’ common sense 👍
I have much more expensive knives and this has been my daily for about 2 weeks. It's nice and cheap enough I don't have to worry about it. Actually went and bought a spare.
Great Video sir!! I’m not a China made knife guy, but I am impressed with this one. I won’t be buying one…but very impressed. Good job buddy! Please give me your address for a sticker swap!!! Thanks man!
Hey that’s awesome Brother Kevin! I’ve actually been working on something to send you too!😁 Is your email in your bio? I guess it would be a little smarter to just go check!😂😂
I bought an ozark flashlight like 3 yrs ago from wal mart, on Black Friday it was like 15 bucks and it’s outperformed flashlights 5 times the price…super bright, good battery life, durable as hell
I use a lot of head lights hunting and fishing. I bought a three pack that was cheaper than one Energizer and I’m still on the first one three years later!
Great video! Since these “Ozarks grails” seem to be disappearing - most of yall can get a SOG XR in D2 for a just a bit more on eBay. (Saw 1 for $20) …in my opinion it’s a better knife overall. G10 scales, stonewash blade, backspacer, just looks better. Just my thoughts!
Some of the price of Benchmade is the fees they have to pay for some environmental cleanup fines. Remember companies don’t pay taxes or fines they pass that on to the customer.
Thanks for this video. We can buy how many walmart knives with $170? 14 or more? Well I have been watching walmarts website and 2 stores near me for a month and I finally broke down and bought one at a premium on ebay for $19. It is not here yet but, will be in a day or two. If I had a knife I paid $170 for I would never carry it and it would never be an edc for me. I would be afraid to mess it up or lose it. $12 to $19? Sure, I will carry one all day long and if lost or torn up, so what? If it does not hold an edge as long as an expensive knife so what? I can sharpen it to a razor edge in 10 minutes. Great video and, I thank you.
Now this knife is definitely never gonna be in stock. LOL. The only thing I hate about this community is everytime theres a good deal, a lot of people go out there and "capitalize" on it. LOL That's like Great Eastern Cutlery knives....they buy them up and sell them for triple the price. :-(
The great Eastern thing is completely out of control!!! The big difference here is a mega retailer pumping these knives into circulation. They will keep upping and upping the quota like they always do. It was hard to find the blue knives , now they are everywhere!
Awesome! If you don’t mind, come back to leave a comment on how you feel about it! I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment! It helps a lot! 👊🏻😁✌🏼
My Walmart has had them and I waited till today to get one and I end up getting the display model. It’s a really nice knife. Not sure I’d pay more than the $10.87 I paid for it though.
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment, buddy! I really appreciate it! If these knives actually cost 30 bucks, I would still buy it, but that’s just me. Everybody’s not the same! 😁👊🏻
I am not a big fan of Chinese knives ( rather buy American ) but there are a lot of good knives that come out of China. And almost every thing in our lives that we use have something from China in them. That being said, I my self would pick the Ozark trail knife. Mainly because of the price. I love that Bench made knives are American made! But I can’t afford them. If they were closer to a hundred bucks, maybe. Thanks for sharing your test results between the two. Hopefully I can find a ozark trail knife and test it myself, but I think it’s definitely a good knife for the common man that just needs a tool, and not just for collecting. Thanks again for the video, have a awesome week!
The Ozark Trail D2 Bugout killer IMHO will do anything the BM Bugout will do if used like a pocket knife. I have the BM Bugout and the Ozark Trail D2 Bugout killer and hundreds of other folding and fixed blade knives. The knives coming out of China as of late are very good for the money if the blade is D2 in my experience. BM's S30v is very chippy on my samples, the D2 on my Ozark trail samples are not chippy. The D2 on the Ozark trails knife takes and holds an edge very well for a $10.00 knife and probably on par with any $80.00 knife I've seen in D2. I have a shop full of professional sharpening equipment and from what I can see sharpening the D2 steel of the Ozark trail it is better than average for a knife in this price range. The Ozark Trail D2 Bugout killer is a clear winner IMHO for a common sense no BS pocket knife. If you lose or break the knife you won't lose any sleep over it.
Excellent video brother. I agree with you. I would take the Ozark trails knife over that bugout any day of the week lol. I haven't held either one so i can't say anything. You folks have a wonderful day and a wonderful weekend brother.🙏🏻🙏🏻
I was at Walmart today and none were to be found. Our Wallmarts here are horrible and always have a very sparse knife display. Many people place a lot of emphasis on ultralight gear. Most of the time I find that ultralight sacrifices too much in performance. An extra ounce or 2 makes a big difference in both preformance and price. Now don't get me wrong I like light gear for edc and backpacking as long as it is still functional. The tradeoff for super light isn't worth it.
The benchmade is easily 3x better than the OT. Is it 15x better? That's a discussion. I carry my benchmade when I need maximum "everything." I now carry the OT when I might abuse it, and I don't mind if I mess it up.
@Hunting4Hookers If I'm hiking or camping and want the confidence that the knife won't fail the Benchmade gets the nod. The OT is more like a day trip/fishing tool for me. That also means the OT is the edc.
Benchmade should cost more because of the cost of manpower in the Us and the fact that they actually design their stuff and not just copping others and of course the warranty, but for sure they are still over priced by quite a bit.
@@davidcarothers3311 175? I wish 🤣 I dont have a bugout but I have a 940, I paid 188$ for it about 2 years ago + 18$ for shipping outside of the Us + import tax it was well over 200 usd. Some of it definitely for quality but you are correct some for the name for sure.
SUBBED!!! I came across your video while I was farting around on the ol' TH-cam. I started laughing which naturally caused my wife to come open the door and ruin my happiness. She wanted to know what had me giggling in the bathroom. I looked her straight in the eye and said, "Hunting 4 Hookers Outdoors!" 😂🤣😂🤣 The look on her face as the gears started to grind to a stop then start back up... priceless! Then she said she was just kidding about not going camping this weekend and there's no need to look for hookers outdoors. As she closed the door she told me to get everything ready we'll be leaving as soon as she gets off work. I laughed so hard I had to stuff my shirt in my mouth to keep her from coming back. I totally forgot about wanting to go camping. Now all I'm looking forward to is the look on her face when she realizes that I wasn't really hunting for hookers outdoors. I'm guessing that she's going to be beet-red and hot under the collar. I think I'm gonna buy a new knife while the weather's fine. Thanks for the laughter and the new knife. 🫡
This comment completely made my entire month!!!!😁 That was awesome! Thanks for sharing that! And thanks for watching and leaving a comment! I really appreciate it!😁✌🏼👊🏻
I highly doubt it, Walmart builds to a cost and retail cost. Their profit margin is already dialed in so I would highly doubt they will change the price. Just like when Swiss tech came out and went viral and people was buying every piece they had in stock.... Prices didn't change.
@@EDCandLace I believe it, I got some products there like a coffee maker that has been working well for years and was super affordable. It was better than a brand name one. The other question is if they will keep making it longer term. Hopefully yes and add variants or improvements.
You aren’t wrong, Benchmade’s prices are outrageous, considering some of the handle materials and quality control are a little questionable. They use decent steels but that’s just not enough these days, especially considering some of their competitors offerings. Just look at Spyderco knives in the $250-$300 range and compared them to a Benchmade around the same price point. There’s no comparison. Also the action on a lot of Benchmade’s knives is severely lacking. Idk, that’s just my opinion, but I feel like the other companies kept progressing while Benchmade just relied on its name to keep up sales instead of innovating or improving.
My sentiments exactly! I just think Benchmade is living off their name instead of offering the public reasonably priced products that are of high quality.
Tip testing is extremely valid. If a $10 tip is stronger than a $170 tip, people are going to want to know. I buy knives to beat the piss out of, which is why I won't consistently carry any other folder than cold steel.
I’m a have he Cold Steel fan myself! I just can’t understand why anyone would drive a knife to lip 2 inches deep into a piece of wood and bend it side to side! I think my AD10 could handle it, but why would I ever need to do that?
@Hunting4Hookers it's the same as testing any other piece of equipment, it's to determine the breaking point. Look at all the tool testing channels, wouldn't you like to know if your $200 snap on ratchet can handle the abuse that a $50 Icon can?
@@goodinsrt8we do not need test to destruction testing on folders. If you need hard use destruction testing on fixed blades we have joeX for that. On edc style pocket knife testing we most definitely do not need test to failure.
@EDCandLace That's subjective. I'd like to know the breaking point of my tools. With the popularity of JoeX and DBK, I'd say there's a solid demand for destruction testing.
The Pyrite is a great knife! This whole video was about comparing a $10 to a $175 knife. It wasn’t about the best knife for under $50. If that were the case the Civivi Praxis is THE GEM!!!😁👊🏻👍🏼🤘🏻

Bench made inflated the gun industry? I have not known this. I'm interested to learn more. What time period did this happen?
Good deal buddy!!!! I’ll have to check that out!!!😁👊🏻
"Hansel and Gretel started doing that over in Europa"😂
Last thing I want to do is name names! Those guys have a cool channel and I watch them occasionally!
We by no means share the same mentality!
Just FYI.
I 100% agree brother!!!!👊🏻😁🤘🏻
@@richardhenry1969😁👊🏻🤘🏻👍🏼
How's it going to be $10 if made in America?
It’s made in China.
My problem is losing a knife, and this solves it because if you lose it, it is just $10!
Great take brother! Thank you for sharing so everyone can see!
Cornbread, so one knife is 150, or 15 knives for 150, I will take the 15 knives!!! It's math thang!!! 👍😎🙏🗡️🔪

Great vid sir wife got my son and I one for Christmas! I like cheap and expensive knives, but I do agree with you! A knife just needs to cut lol.
That’s the primary goal!
If your at work a zip tie or bag of concrete doesn’t ask you the brand of the knife!
If you are defending yourself I don’t think the adversary cares if it’s a Benchmade or Ozark trail.
I’m not really into knives but … your style was refreshing, cool, funny, ‘nice guy’ type of content.
Thank you Alex! I really appreciate the kind words buddy!👊🏻😁

Great review, I can see why it is so popular right now. Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend and God Bless.
Thanks Stan I really appreciate ya buddy!
I love my ozark trails knife, been toting it all week for work. Great video brother, take care 💪
Thanks buddy! I appreciate that!!!👊🏻😁🤘🏻
I was waiting for your video comparison on the Ozark trail and the Benchmade bug out Im surprised how well The Ozark trail did.
I might need to do a long term video cutting cardboard and such as a follow up!?!?🤔
Have an awesome and blessed video brother!!!

I have the exact same Benchmade bugout, color and all, along with the $10 Wugout, and I am impressed with the Ozark Trail knife! Wugout is what everyone is calling it.
I've heard "Dropout" too, now I'm kind of torn on which I like more, "Wugout" is really good
That’s pretty cool! I love those OTs a lot brother!!
I've only cut two things with my Ozark since I got it a few days ago. I cut open a package of bottled water, and I cut open my right index finger.
Ouch! 😱
@@philochristos 🤣
I’ve been carrying mine as my primary knife since I got it 😊
It’s insanely good! Most negative I’ve seen are people who didn’t actually buy one. They just badmouth em because they are affordable!
Makes 100% sense to me brother!!!😁
Best knife companies IMO are Montana and Tops knives..own a handful from each and they are INCREDIBLE…fixed blades though, super sharp, holds an awesome edge and indestructible
I don’t have any Montana. I would like to grab one of a Knives of Alaska.
I have 2 Tops knives and love em! I traded off my Tops Mountain lion. It just wasn’t me.
A+ video! Guess I’ll never know for myself. Ain’t spending 175$ on a knife. Very much enjoyed this!

I wonder if they will have different color scales with this next shipment
You can dye the scales with RIT fabric dye, just follow the directions on the dye box or bottle, you don't even have to take the knife apart. Just be sure to lube it after you are done. I did two in black and two in dark brown today and they look fantastic!!!! When I can get more of them I am going to do some in green and and some in navy. You can find examples on the budgetkblades subreddit.
The comment below is very interesting!⬇️

Thanks buddy! It was a fun one! I imagine that it won’t set well with some folks but the truth will always be the truth! 😁
I got one last week. It has a very ‘sticky’ action; It won’t flick all the way open and won’t close all the way without having to press on the back of the spine. But it’s $10🤷♂️
It was sharp enough to slice standard printer paper but not sharp enough to slice its own Walmart receipt without tearing. But it’s $10🤷♂️
Then my wife stole it to cut foam boards for Halloween crafts. So I went back to my Kershaw crown I’ve been carrying for more than five years.
Can’t go wrong with a good Kershaw buddy!👊🏻👍🏻😁
I tried to order one online only to have it cancelled. Stopped in my local Walmart and seen one in the display case. I think I might of gotten the last in package one. Was just in there again today and the display one was gone
More should be hitting the store on September 3rd! 😁👊🏻
My sentiments exactly!!!!👍🏼
It's a bugout killer for me because no way am I spending the money for what a bugout costs, even if the bugout is way better.
It’s an awesome knife!!! Not just for the money either!
In my opinion, I really like it better than the Bugout!

I really think you’re gonna enjoy it buddy!!!
It's really the only way to get one. Got 2, one for me and the other one for my buddy.
Some of the price of Benchmade is the fees they have to pay for some environmental cleanup fines. Remember companies don’t pay taxes or fines they pass that on to the customer.
Exactly! And the government keeps building more of both!
In my opinion it’d still well worth $20!

If this one goes to $20 it’s still extremely worth it!
Excellent review, Cornbread. And a very reasonable conclusion.

i went bought a bugout online.ten minutes after i opened it i was printing a return shipping label.i work for my money.
I was big time disappointed! If it was a $60 I could deal with it. Still wouldn’t buy another one, but it’s more reasonable.

I could t agree more brother!👊🏻😁
I say if you want an S30V knife to compare it to it would be the Benchmade Presidio mini 2 because like the Ozark it also has full liners.
The benchmade is easily 3x better than the OT. Is it 15x better? That's a discussion.
I carry my benchmade when I need maximum "everything." I now carry the OT when I might abuse it, and I don't mind if I mess it up.
I’m curious as to the “maximum everything” comment.
@Hunting4Hookers If I'm hiking or camping and want the confidence that the knife won't fail the Benchmade gets the nod. The OT is more like a day trip/fishing tool for me. That also means the OT is the edc.
And I mean, they're both light enough that You could just take both
Benchmade should cost more because of the cost of manpower in the Us and the fact that they actually design their stuff and not just copping others and of course the warranty, but for sure they are still over priced by quite a bit.
I can totally agree with that!👍🏼
If the Bugout was $80 it would still be expensive but more reasonable.

I came across your video while I was farting around on the ol' TH-cam. I started laughing which naturally caused my wife to come open the door and ruin my happiness. She wanted to know what had me giggling in the bathroom. I looked her straight in the eye and said, "Hunting 4 Hookers Outdoors!" 😂🤣😂🤣
The look on her face as the gears started to grind to a stop then start back up...

I wonder if Walmart will bump the price up since they’re unexpectedly so popular. I’ll guess they are probably trying to figure out a new price.
I wouldn’t be surprised . But I don’t expect it.

@@gomersknifeshopIt might be by region and location of the store.

Well it is what it is brother! $175 for the BM is beyond ridiculous ! I'll pickup one or two of these if the Lord wills.
Tell your wife “Christ compelled you to buy more knives”…
You won’t be disappointed brother!!! I love mine!
THERE is the idea of the day!!!😂😂
It's unavailable and cannot be ordered at every Walmart I have checked in the state of South Carolina. 😂
The Wal Marr in Pickens got some in today. Don’t know if they have been stocked or not.
@@Hunting4Hookers I appreciate it but that's a long drive for me, I live in Saluda. 👍
I bought a new knife at my local ag supply company, it's a cheap $40 knife, but I love it, (sarge sk-811) I Wana see review on it but can't find any
The only Sarge knife I have is a small carving knife. It’s a pretty good one!
@@Hunting4Hookers I just bought 2 of the ozark trail knives today, thanks to your video, took me 3 walmarts lol
I was looking at the sarge website, some of them look kool
I can buy an ESSE Junglas at 10.5" for the price of the Benchmade bugout! No thanks, Benchmade...
I’m in kind of the same place buddy! It’s a great little knife , just no bang for the buck.
I noticed the blade on your Benchmade was not centered like it was bent.
I just took another look and it’s dead down the center! Must have been an optical illusion kind of thing.
@@Hunting4Hookers Oil well,it just looked like it to me.
@@stevenmorris4163no problem! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment buddy!!! I appreciate ya!
